I think carrying a team alone is quite difficult. Mbappe is the best player in the world. But if he doesn't get proper teammates I think he will struggle to develop. I think Mbappe is not like Ronaldo who has the spirit of a leader so he is able to carry his teammates and even brought Portugal to win the EURO cup. I wonder why PSG can't get good results like Real Madrid. Because after all, Real Madrid also has many star players in its squad but yes, Real Madrid still managed to get good results . In the past, the Real Madrid squad was entirely stars such as Raul, Kaka, Figo, Carlos, Zidane and many more but not only limited to that. Because ya, after all, Real Madrid is at least still a destination for star players until now but ya, Real Madrid still consistently gets good results also in the Champion League. Therefore, it looks like PSG certainly still has to take a long time to build a star squad and get success like Real Madrid . If the team plans for the next season, they will certainly give the utmost importance to every position from the team's defense to the strike. Of course PSG will appoint good quality players to their club by giving utmost importance to each position. PSG are expected to strengthen every position next season due to their club's current manager. Luis Enrique is a very experienced manager and he will definitely want the best of the team so he will definitely appoint quality players in every position of the team.

If you add a lot of star players to your team, you also need a manager to manage this. Every good player can have big egos. He may want to score every goal himself. As long as this was the case, PSG was having problems. PSG looked like a good team, but they must have been having problems, and success did not come in that period. However, if we look at the squad, we saw a great team on paper. The PSG president at that time made the squad that I could not make in the Football Manager game.

For Ligue 1 it's not a problem because it's a must but for the Champions League but it still can't be done easily and indeed talking about Champions League chances they have always been one of the favorite clubs to be in the Champions League final even to become champions there but all the results remain the same and the last 2 seasons they even floundered in the Round of 16 stage because of the difficulty of facing other favorite clubs namely Madrid and Manchester City.
Now for the round of 16 they have an easier path although still in the group phase they are in 2nd place just like previous seasons because for this season they will face the dark horse club Sociedad and surely they are favorites in this match but to be able to win in the end there must still be an effort from their players because there could be surprises that occur in this match.

Actually Lens started this season badly, they stayed for quite a long time in the relegation zone before they started getting positive results. They improved indeed but I could not call them strong since they still missing points in several competitions. In Ligue 1 they lost their last game by two goals against Nice. In French Cup they lost by penalties against Monaco and in Champions League, they got few points but they were able to move to Europa League at least.
I think PSG could win against them this week without a lot of problems if the players were fit. I know the beginning of the year is always tricky but seeing the 9 goals they scored in French Cup, I think they are ready to resume Ligue 1.

They are now focused on buying cheaper and younger players. Keeping many superstars in a team will cause personality clashes that could even divide the players among various cartels led by each of these influential players. I agree with you that carrying a team alone is certainly a very difficult task and it is not a task alone but also a joint task and having teammates who support each other, this cannot be separated from the tactics used by a coach if the coach can build performance team as a whole then PSG can perform better in the UCL.
Ronaldo had the spirit of a leader when he was young, but Ronaldo has teammates who can work together so that he achieves success. If Mbappè wants the UCL title, of course he has to join forces with supportive colleagues so that he doesn't carry the burden alone.

Having much players didn't help them because at the time what they needed was much more than just these players been present in the team but then it's seemed at that point that the priority was placed on having the players with out much focus on the tactical force on the team, and other possible challenges the team may be having.

These players were jus too much and it seemed like there was conflict of personality amongst them because they were all big names and will all want to at some point show case their capacity on personal levels but sadly it wasn't helping the team because they had almost no proper communication amongst them on the pitch and Messi just left Barcelona for the first time and he was yet to adapt to football outside Spain so there were just too many factors to address if they were to win the UCL with that squad, and even till now they have still gat to work on the team spirit and cooperation amongst the players especially on the pitch.

If you have been watching the French league for a long time you may know Lyon was not a weak team and unlike the current situation they have right now, Lyon was even racing for a title with other top teams in the league and they have the experience of playing in Champions League.
But currently, Lyon is far from what we knew from them and they are not in a good situation at all. Lyon was even close to getting relegated during this seasons

You are right as few seasons ago, Lyon was amongst the top contenders in the Ligue 1 and at some point it can be said that they were amongst the elite team in the french league because they had some good levels of consistency maintaining a spot around the top four team on the standing in a good while until now.

This season has been one of the few seasons Lyon has been in a poor shape and their performance is way below brilliance, I even have some doubts they will be able to secure a spot at the UCL next season by securing a spot at top four on the standing by the end of the season, in their most recent games they have been able to win about three games consecutively but then they are just a little above relegation, their next fixture is against Le Havre and I don't really know how well Le Havre will be able to put up a good fight since they will be playing from home so they can secure a point by the end of the game.

If you don't look at the development of League 1 over several seasons, most people might think that Lyon is a weak club, but actually they are not a weak club, they are just unlucky this season and it could be said that this is Lyon's worst season because they have to fight to secure their position so as not to be relegated, and I think Lyon can still secure a position in the middle of the standings because this season is still long and Lyon still has the opportunity to recover from their current downturn.

I think it's too far if you say Lyon can secure 3rd place so they can advance to the Champions League, they can just get out of the relegation zone which is a lucky thing for Lyon because they are fighting for that and I think their focus is not on the Champions League or league competitions. Europe because their current focus is on improving their overall performance so as not to be relegated.
I hope that after good results in the last few matches, Lyon can continue their good performance so that they are not underestimated by other clubs.

Lille performance was far from stable this season because so far they only got 7 wins and 7 draw from 17 matches and this makes them lost plenty of points and at league standings Lille only can occupy 5th place with collect 28 points and after failed to win 3 consecutive matches in Ligue 1 this sunday Lille will attempts to collect 3 points at their home ground against Lorient and on the paper this should be easy match for Lille because we all know Lorient was very weak this season and so far they only collect 2 wins at Ligue 1

Last Saturday Lille has just gets big win 12-0 against FC Golden Lion on France Cup and their striker Jonathan David was made a hattrick so this result probably will restore their mentally and return to the winning ways and for Lorient i am not really sure what happend to this team because their performance was completely messed up and their defense also very poor because until week 17 Lorient have already conceded 35 goals and about the result of this match although Lille performance was not quite good but i think they have good chance to beat Lorient

If you don't look at the development of League 1 over several seasons, most people might think that Lyon is a weak club, but actually they are not a weak club, they are just unlucky this season and it could be said that this is Lyon's worst season because they have to fight to secure their position so as not to be relegated, and I think Lyon can still secure a position in the middle of the standings because this season is still long and Lyon still has the opportunity to recover from their current downturn.

Lyon are not so lucky this season perhaps this season is one of there challenging season so far because they use to perform very well in there previous seasons but there performance on this season is like a club that doesn't have a target or team work because I never believe they will be on the position they are now considering there performance on the previous season, well considering there stand on the table now they should avoid relegation.

Although they still have a chance to improve on there table because the two clubs that's currently above them on the table doesn't have much of a point difference with Lyon, so perhaps this is actually a chance for Lyon to secure some good record for themselves by removing themselves from the relegation zone but although there next match against Le Havre is really going to be a tough match for them because currently Let Havre performance is more better than Lyon and even on the table Le Havre has more better position than Lyon so I wonder what will become there faith on this match.

If you don't look at the development of League 1 over several seasons, most people might think that Lyon is a weak club, but actually they are not a weak club, they are just unlucky this season and it could be said that this is Lyon's worst season because they have to fight to secure their position so as not to be relegated, and I think Lyon can still secure a position in the middle of the standings because this season is still long and Lyon still has the opportunity to recover from their current downturn.

Lyon are not so lucky this season perhaps this season is one of there challenging season so far because they use to perform very well in there previous seasons but there performance on this season is like a club that doesn't have a target or team work because I never believe they will be on the position they are now considering there performance on the previous season, well considering there stand on the table now they should avoid relegation.

Although they still have a chance to improve on there table because the two clubs that's currently above them on the table doesn't have much of a point difference with Lyon, so perhaps this is actually a chance for Lyon to secure some good record for themselves by removing themselves from the relegation zone but although there next match against Le Havre is really going to be a tough match for them because currently Let Havre performance is more better than Lyon and even on the table Le Havre has more better position than Lyon so I wonder what will become there faith on this match.

They are actually a club with good competitive ability and in the last 10 seasons I have noted that they have never been out of the top 10 in the standings and are even better than that. they have even been runners up in the standings several times. However, this season is indeed a tough season for them, they are struggling to stay away from the relegation zone. In my opinion, this is a form of failure in maintaining their stability when entering the new season so that they have to be in a completely unfavorable situation.
I see complex problems within them this season, so it really affects their performance in the competition. But I think they will be able to get through this to at least avoid the threat of relegation which is right in front of them.
