Today there is a big match between Lens vs Monaco and i have been discuss about this match before because both teams can be categorized as strong teams in Ligue 1 and it is hard to predict who is the winner of this match but as a host Lens is slightly the favourite but no wonder because although Lens performance is not good compared to last season but Lens stil very strong at their home ground because during this season in all competitions Lens only lost twice even in Champion League Lens can able to beat strong team Arsenal so beating Lens will be hard task for Monaco especially Monaco performance still not consistent and last week they lost from weak team Toulouse and for today too my predictions is Lens will be able to overcomes Monaco with narrow scores and Lens has good odds to bets @2.44

When compared to last season, the difference is very noticeable for Brest because they are able to be in second place even though their performance in the last few matches, especially 3 draws before their 2 wins, I think this is a little disturbing.
But for Ligue 1 it seems that this is not a surprise because previously we also saw Lens last season and Nice at the beginning of this season improved drastically but it was only able to compete in the top 4 not for the trophy hunt.

Clubs in Ligue 1 always play with great surprises and are competitive every season which makes it unexpected but this competitiveness only lasts for the Champions League (2nd place), Europa League and Conference League for the rest to compete with PSG for the trophy cannot happen. They've found a balance between league stability and fan excitement. Their character shows in their ability to hold in second place despite a few draws before winning. In contrast, Nice's form has surprised me. They should be in the Champions League mix, but they're falling behind when it matters most.

I never thought of them doing all these, could be cause I never saw them as a big side but it's football anyways, underdogs can now, find themselves at the top if they work hard. Let's take Girona for example as they're occupants of the second position in La Liga for sometime now

Brest and Nice has done well this season, while club's like Lillie, Marseille and Monaco all have stumbled. Even the club Lens who did well last season could not impress like they did last season.
Them journey in the European Competitions are sexy but they have to work hard, if they're to win a place in the top four.

At first I was doubtful when I saw the odds were not much different between Strasbourg and Brest but it all seemed to be paid off with the maximum performance given by Brest. I mean, as a top team that even has a chance to occupy second place in the standings, the bookie gives odds that are so big and those should be lower odds than the home team Strasbourg who sits in 13th position in the standings.

The result was not surprising because Brest definitely won and even broke into Strasbourg's goal with 3 goals without reply. I am happy to see Brest returning to their best form and they are taking advantage of Nice's depression which has recently continued to decline without certainty. Even Nice was temporarily thrown into 4th position in the standings. Talking about this season's competition, everything ended when PSG was ahead by more than 6 points and no team was able to stop them except themselves, which made the situation even more chaotic.

There was two years ago a season where Strasbourg did quite well and ended in the sixth position, otherwise all these years they finished between the 10th position and just above the relegation zone.
Their defeat against Brest was no surprise since Brest are playing good this season that's why they are second by the way.

I admit that Mbappe will easily contribute to getting the title in League 1 but I am not sure that Mbappe is able to make a contribution to bringing PSG to get the title in the UCL because in this competition it is not just about mainstay players but also requires very solid teamwork whereas PSG are still not ready to become a solid team when competing in the UCL because they still rely on Mbappe, whereas a big team that has won the UCL title definitely has a very perfect line up of players, strong cooperation, even the mainstay players will not be able to determine the score in the final round but instead other players who can give good scores in the competition.

that's the reason I doubt Mbappe can provide help for PSG to get a title in the UCL because he won't be able to perform without strong support from other players but to get a title in league 1 I'm sure it will be the last title before he leaves PSG as a parting gift.

In League 1 there is no team that can match the strength of the PSG team from any side and that is very natural because PSG has much stronger financial strength than other teams.
So PSG are really favored to win the League 1 title and in fact I am sure they will be able to get it even without Mbappe, but for the UCL it is not easy and last season PSG, which had many star players, did not succeed in winning the UCL, let alone this season.

yep, I know that PSG without Mbappe will remain the strongest team in league 1 but if you lose Mbappe, PSG will not be strong enough to dominate the league 1 title in the future or even several times will be replaced other teams who will get the title PSG shot from PSG from the peak of standings when losing mbappe.

discussing PSG's performance in the UEFA Champions League, PSG will not be able to compete with Madrid and Man City (I favor these two teams over PSG) but for the local league, no team will be able to match PSG, they are too powerful and unmatched (although in some matches they had the misfortune of losing), PSG's defeat is still 1 but they have had quite a lot of draws. Enrique is a pretty good coach, but he must be able to make the PSG squad not dependent on Mbappe, especially since the issue is that Mbappe will soon move to Madrid.

The biggest issue is that even if they lose this game, it would require another team to win like at least six or seven games in a row to have a chance to close the gap.
