Psg has a fairly smooth road to becoming champions this season because Mbappe et al already lead the standings with an 11-point lead over Nice who are in second place. There is no tougher opponent for PSG in Ligue 1 because in terms of strength they have many quality players in their team so it is very difficult for other teams to find victory when they face PSG. I think Psg is now focusing their direction on the Champions League because they are very comfortable with remaining at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.

Currently, PSG is 11 points ahead of the teams below their ranking. in the 21 matches that PSG played, they won 15, drew 5 and lost 1. Currently, PSG is the only team closest to winning the Ligue 1 trophy with an 11-point lead. even though Lique 1 still has a lot of matches left until the end of this season.

I think Mbappe was not played in the match against Lille because he was prepared for the UCL match against Real Sociedad where they will compete in the first leg of the round of 16, of course this match is very important for PSG because they have to be able to reach a better stage of the season then at least reach the UCL semi-finals or final, PSG must be able to show their quality in the UCL because in the domestic league they seem difficult to get rid of because their dominance is very strong this season. Getting out of the relegation zone is really an impressive move for Lyon as they now play at a very safe space, they are now three points away from relegation, their performance this season has been so poor they had to struggle out of the relegation which they currently at at the 13th position with 22 points after yesterday's victory.

The pressure on Lyon now will literally be minimal as compared to what it was earlier when they were not able to get out of the relegation, all they needed was a series of win which they have had two wins straight that has earned them their current position on the table, If they happen to loose two straight games again they still stand the risk of relegation once again but I think now that the pressure is less on Tham they will most likely perform better and try to stay away from relegation again this season.
