Having bad UCL isn't a new thing for them, and I still think that they can recover, Brest is doing better than PSG and that makes absolutely no sense, look at them on the league and you will see the reason. The trouble is that PSG was never that great at UCL anyways, so seeing them do like this isn't really a good thing but also it isn't that bad neither, it should be something they are used to by now, and can't really overreact at all.

Boring is a certainty when seeing uncompetitive competition in a league, and especially when the league is only dominated by one team.

Season by season PSG has shown their toughness in ligue 1, even when they has lost many star players their but their dominance still cannot be broken by other teams, so far we think if the quality of the squad they have is the main factor to be championship than other teams so far, but when I see Marseille activities,  Lille and Monaco this season in the transfer market I started to think that consistency and mentality are the main problems of PSG rival teams for be championship, because in fact with their squad that is no less good from PSG,  Precisely they are still not able to give tight competition to PSG and the funny thing is that Marseille, Monaco and Lille lost points from teams that were weaker than them and not when facing PSG this season ,  So in this case I think when PSG does not have a champion mentality in the UCL, it is precisely their rivals in leaguedo not have a mentality  be championship in Ligue 1 all this time .

Of course it isn't an impossible work but a difficult one at the same time. Because there is an insane quality gap between PSG and the rest of the teams of the Ligue 1. It isn't that easy to compete PSG until the end. We see it once in many years in the league. Like your example of Lille's title a few years ago. It was a magical season for them as well.

If that happens, I think definitely not this season and maybe not even next season. Ligue 1 has become like the Bundesliga and will probably stay that way if PSG don't suddenly start losing, which is unlikely to happen dramatically if you face it. But actually, this kind of thing makes football fans bored because there is no competitive competition and what football fans expect is competition between other teams.

Years ago if we were o discuss the French league, PSG obviously aren't the strongest, I mean from. Decade a go but since they built their strength to his level, they have been able to maintain it through this years except for a few times when they get to struggle around and lost the title to others in the French league. Mbappe wasn't and isn't the only good player PSG had a d that is why even after his exit, they are still doing well in their domestic league even without a perfect replacement.
