If that is Messi is not enough, they got Hakimi, Donnaruma and Wijnaldum and Ramos which is great for any club in the world, they have a bench that is as deep as some of the teams in the league, someoone said their bench is good enough to fight for a title and that is correct. Maybe they lost it last year and yes that is a shame for their finances, however as we can see they managed to beat FFP once again and they are capable of actually winning this time, not even close if they can keep mbappe in the team.

Mess is said to be taking the Jersey number 30, seems weird but it's quite unique since he doesn't have to strip any current player of their's.

I think it’s not weird at all. Messi wore 30 number jersey in his Barcelona debut and later on, wore 19. Since the current one in PSG is taken by Neymar, it would be weird if Messi would have taken that number. This is fine and it should not be matter at all.

Number 10 = Neymar
Number 19 = Sarabia
Number 30 = Messi, indeed he didn't take the shirt number of any of his teammates which is a good message for them that we are equal. That number marks his debut in Barca so it will marks also his debut with PSG and his retirement later?
BTW, Messi number 30 shirts are no more in PSG store lol!

Exactly my point, Messi was majorly recognised with the number 19 and 10, I think he could have humbly requested it from either players and I think one of them could have even be willing to let him have the number, but I guess it just doesn't matter with Leo, that's an iota of the selflessness they can expect of him.

From what i ve seen in the first round i think monaco team will win today but it wont be easy they really showed good performance specialy on the defensive side and the draw from the corner kick was an error but they really controlled the game on the other hand nice performance too from lorient offencively but they have some defensive issues they need to solve in this game.
