Montpellier's unbeaten streak could be broken with this match. When we look at the odds, Marseille is shown as heavy favorite but I think Montpellier is not an easy target.If Marseille wins this match, they will reduce the points difference with PSG to 4. If marseille will be losing points against montpellier and that will be a disaster caused by there are still chances for marseille to be able to get the trophy as long as PSG was doing some mistakes. The gap to the PSG was only 7 points. There are still 10 matches worth 30 points in total until the end of season. That means if the chance for PSG to be surpassed by marseille is still there. Marseille is not yet losing in the competition to get league 1 trophy. Lens and monaco are also potentially coming back to the competitiong to get the trophy as well.

PSG are having a quite inconsistent season obviously. It is the same in the Ligue 1 as well. I know that they are still 7 points ahead of Marseille and maintaining their lead. However this can change anytime as well. Because PSG have made so many simple point losses until this time. Losing to Rennes in Parc des Princes is one of the best examples for that I assume. They must be out of patience with Galtier on one hand as well but I don't expect any action to be taken about that topic until everything is finalized for this season.

If PSG continue to lose points Marseille can still fire up the title rivalry again. But it depends on how consistent Marseille will be as well surely. They need to drop the loss of points to minimum as of now.

About the number of star players in the PSG team, I don't think it's a problem, because at least Real Madrid has proven it for a long time. So, if PSG is still not good at competitions other than Ligue 1 then at least, PSG still doesn't have a good coach, board and/or management to be able to unite the star squad it has.

I really hope for an easy Marseille win, but you never know with them. Despite Montpeiller not really needing this win, they are playing very good lately and won't go down easy. The coach is the first person to be blamed when a team is not playing well, and it because it is his tactics and methods that the players go into the field with, the club owners cannot sack all the players in the club, it is not possible, but they can sack the coach who is only one individual. Though a club's failures is not only the coaches fault, but they are the ones that get sacked nevertheless. Psg's problem may be because of they have too many star players who are not following the coaches instructions and playing only for themselves, but now they have failed again to win the champions league, they may sack Galtier and only a few players will leave.

The match has been going on for half an hour but Marseille still has not shown that they deserve to be the winner in this match. Marseille where lucky to get a penalty before the half time to equalise the goal, but I think Marseille really need a win in this game to bounce back to winning ways, it is not going to be easy for hem with the way they are playing at the moment, but I really hope they can turn things around in the second half.

I think it is not about who wins or who loses but who follows this up better. I mean the winner of this game would definitely be doing better for short period of time, but if you win this game and lose the next 3 games, whereas the other team loses this game and wins the next 3 games, then what's even the point?

This means that winner is not as important as consistency. We have seen PSG lose to many teams this season, and yet they are leading the league, why? Because they have been consistently good and rarely bad. Troyes looks to be consistently the same, and Auxerre doesn't look consistent, one day they are great, one day they are terrible, it's volatile just like crypto lol.
