There is quite a decline in performance,  both from the top teams to those in the relegation zone.  French league is becoming weaker than before , for that I wouldn't expect more from a team like nice,  not to talk more of seeing them in Europe league. If they can't show strength in the French league how then will it be possible in European competition that is made of teams from different tough leagues. Even the conference league title will not be an easy task for Nice judging from the aforementioned reason.
