I think that one explanation could be that there is too much of a good thing in one place. I know this sounds a bit odd, but when you have players like Messi who won it all, Mbappe won huge titles and Neymar did as well, you have three top stars who now have to motivate themselves to win the Ligue 1 title. How seriously do they take it? How seriously would we take it ourselves? All of them signed world record contracts and earn money so much that it is impossible to be spent ever. Then they go out and the Ligue 1 fans want to see those three give 200%. I think there is some rightful doubt that this works out. They still win it because they are gifted and can have fun playing around with their opponents. Giving a suspension to Messi is the wrong decision in my opinion, unless Messi is not a star player then giving a suspension like that is only natural. This trio was failed to gave PSG UCL trophy. i do know that if many people have been putting their hopes to see PSG to get UCL trophy this season but it's failed again. I don't even know how to count how many times PSG failed to get UCL. So much money has been spent to buy the stars players but the result is still zero. Messi can give only league 1 as a trophy. There's no something special about this trophy caused by its only a trophy in the farmer league. I could not consider league 1 as prestigious trophy for PSG.

PSG director has intention to sign a good coach to do overhaul to the club. This is a big project that can be given to the right person. PSG consider mourinho as the one who is having capability to make it happen.
