Maybe you have misunderstood that Lorient is not a strong club at all for Lens in the upcoming matches and in all matches Lorient have only beaten Lens once while Lens have beaten three times in several matches.

Monaco would have kept their hopes up for the 3rd place mathematically if they won against Lyon. But instead they lost and they have lost their chance for the Champions League completely. In addition to that Marseille also have been fighting for the group stage of the Champions League to not play extra qualification rounds. You carefully listed their position out but let's not hope on the result to come out based on the position of these two teams cuz the PSG I know is very unstable and fun of feeding their fans with surprises. The only good news about the match is that it won't affect their position even if they lose,  it may if they lose more but I'm not seeing that happen.  But Lenz as we speak is already leading with two goals which I don't think they allow Lorient to overturn the score board. This should be a motivation for PSG.

Quite a lot of surprise results in the French Ligue 1 in today games,Troyes draw,Reims draw is something really that came as a surprise to me,especially Reims not being able to win against last place but I refrained from betting on this game as Reims does not play for anything and I choose Rennes which won comfortably with a tennis result against also one of the relegated team of Ligue 1 this year.

Now Lens is winning and I expect Paris also to win and things are looking quite clear for how the teams will be ranked in the end and which team will be playing in European competitions,I think Paris,Lens and Marseille deserve the places they have and then comes Lille and Rennes,well it was a predictable Ligue 1 this year after all.
