In that match it is probably true that Nice will win and betting on Nice only has small odds so I will decide to bet on 1x2 double chance to get slightly bigger odds and hopefully there are no surprises because the worry of a draw is very bad.

Nice is the only team that is unbeaten this season in 9 matches. and looks like it will continue in 10 matches. because it would not be very good for Nice if they got a draw or even lost to Clermont whose player quality is far below Nice.

Clermont is currently too weak a team to beat Nice, Struggling at the bottom of the table with hopes to leave the relegation zone before the league ends is a good level of weakness already exhibited, because they have played nine game already this season and they are able to get just five points keeping them just two points from the last position on the table, definitely they have had a really poor start this season.

Nice currently at the second position with good performance this season is a better side, Nice also have a better squad and dept as compared to Clermont so I almost don't see a chance for Clermont but then just like football will come with it's suprises at times, it's very much possible Clermont fights to get a draw as they will be playing from home, that advantage is all they have gat in this game.

So will there be any surprises in this match?
The current score is still tied at 0-0 in the first half and in the second half I'm pretty sure Nice will put pressure on in the second half to make the Clermont players mentally decline after that the Nice players will try to score and my prediction is still the same at least Nice will be ahead by 2 scores in the second half and hopefully there will be no surprise draw.

Yeah it is worrying to see Lens being near the relegation zone truthfully. They were amazing last season and stayed in the Ligue 1 title competition for a very long time. PSG were even able to finish only one point ahead of Lens which proves my point. But this huge change is pretty awkward to me.

What is wrong with Lens is beyond expectations because they were superb last season they played very brilliantly and nearly won the league if PSG had made any mistake at the late stage of the league cause they finished 2nd position with just 1 point behind PSG however this season they're nothing to talk about and with the way they're performing one won't even believe they finished in the top four last season, however they might have won several matches suprisenly but they need to be consistent if they want to atleast finish top 6 this season.

 Werll I won't be suprise if they get a bad result this week cause they've already shocked me with their inconsistentcy this season, i expected them to be in the position of Nice fighting to taking away the title from PSG but they're not even close to top 10 and with the way they're going I doubt if they'll end qualify for conference league.

I will bet on Nice winning because this is clear and there is no doubt that Nice will win again. Currently Nice is in its best performance and they will continue to maintain this advantage so that the competing teams below them cannot overtake them easily. Lens really have Paris Saint Germaine a torrid competition in the French Ligue 1 last season and it got to a point that they were considered as one team that was going to stop PSG's dominance in the league but they've been absolutely shadow of the Lens side we saw last season as as they've been able to get just 9 points after 9 league matches. It's very strange to see runner's up in the league last season languishing in the bottom half of the league table. I hope the management of the club does something positive as quickly as possible to bring the club back to their best once again or risk being relegated at the end of the season.

The first half of the Clermont - Nice game was completely one-sided. I mean Clermont didn't even have a single goal attempt. Nice found a huge opportunity to score by a penalty. However Laborde missed the penalty and made things difficult for his team. There has been already a serious drop in his performance and this was just horrible.

He might not get his position in the starting eleven easily maybe from now on. Anyway despite Clermont's balancing the game in the second half Nice still scored a late winning goal to seal the deal by 1-0. By this win Nice are still maintaining the title of being the only team without a single defeat in the league this season.

talking about poor performance in domestic competitions actually for now, I think Lens is still a little better than seeing what happened with Lyon because they are the club that is the worst in the decline in performance if we do a comparison of this season with last season.

Internal politics is having deep causes for this all and if club management fail to settle things in near future then most chances we will have them relegated which could be surely the worst ever for the club and fans as well after 9 rounds they are not able to win any match and already having deficit of 11 goals which is surely not ideal for the team because now if we are able to check their fixtures list mostly they are having tough matches and with this look like they could be stayed at the bottom until new year and with this next round could be more terrible for them because having results like this most chances they could be not able to secure their survival and in last game they were not able to win match against another team at home which was also in relegation zone, so things are surely needed quick settlement.

Lyon and Lens are the two most surprising teams in this season. They definitely should have performed better compared to what they have done so far. Lyon is at the absolute bottom of the table without having a single win so far in this season. Lens is also not very far away from the relegation zone, to be honest. Lyon seems to be doomed for this season unless they somehow start performing well. And I really do not have any idea how they can do that. Lens still has hope in my opinion. After all, it has not been a long time since the season had started. Not even 10 matches have been played so far. So they still have a chance to improve their performance and actually get towards the top of the table.

Nice managed to thwart Clermont's scenario to make the match end in a draw like they managed to do when they faced PSG some time ago which ended goalless.
These three points lead Nice to take over Monaco's position for the time being because if Monaco can win against Lille then they will again be in the lead and PSG will continue to stick closely to third position.

Two fairly tight matches will really influence the current standings, Monaco vs Lille and PSG vs Brest.

as long as PSG is still consistent with its performance I think nothing is impossible to take the top position in the standings but the problem is whether PSG is able to catch up on points from Nice and Monaco who are currently in very good condition and IMO, if PSG loses against Brest in the match tomorrow or being behind by more than 9 points, this will make it more difficult for PSG to catch first place in the standings because if the difference in points is very large, that means PSG has to win continuously for 3 times and that is a very difficult task because PSG has to divide its match schedule in League 1 and UCL.
so PSG slightly poor performance may have an impact on the UCL match because of course their physical strength has been used up in the UCL match so that when competing domestically they dont have a perfect enough performance.

I quite enjoy Lens' bad performance, I mean even though Lens is performing badly at the moment, at the end of this season we will see Lens return to their position like last season.
