There is a Lens - Nantes game tomorrow. I hope to see that this game becomes an opportunity to rise for Lens in the league. Because we haven't seen the same performance as the one they have in the Champions League. They got two draws in their last two Ligue 1 games. It is time to make a bigger effort to end this streak.

Nantes are in a better situation and form in the league considering the last five games. But still Lens are quite much the favourite by bookmakers. I think we will see a win here but it might not be a comfortable one. It might end like 2-1.

Nantes, like their opponent Lens, are a team that likes to play on the wings and have been on the rise in the last few weeks of the league. Nantes have won four of their last five matches and the morale of the team is very high, while Lens have gained morale by not losing at home during the week. I expect Lens to attack with one-balls, to get into easy positions and they will have no problem finding positions.
Lens will start the game with more pressure and attack with the advantage of being at home. However, I don't think they will take enough precautions in defense. My suggestion is that there will be mutual goals in this match. I think Lens will be the more dominant side at the end of the match.

It won't be easy for Lille to beat Monaco even though the match takes place at Lille's home ground, because so far Monaco has also been quite consistent in winning matches in Ligue1. So this match is quite a tough match for these two teams because both of them have better strengths in Ligue1 so it is very likely that their match will be quite fierce this weekend. Because both of them will try to get full points in order to remain in the best position in the standings.

Monaco and Lile happens to be two good sides this season with good results so far this season in the Ligue 1, although Lile's results could be considered a fair on not very good but then then are a little above average, Lile has really been good with home game , they have lost only one home game this season and them been at home in this game I think they will give Monaco a tough time, so Monaco may not get an easy win.

Both teams are really going to need to perform well for any to win the other regardless of who's at home or away, but then Monaco seem to stand a better chance for me going by their records and H2H. Maybe they could end up sharing the points equally as they are both good and needs to secure a point at least from this game.

Although so far this season Monaco has not received any defeat when playing away, but that does not mean Monaco will always win in away matches. Because after all, of Monaco's 4 away matches so far this season, in fact Monaco has won 2 and 2 draws. Therefore, although Monaco has good ability in away matches because it is unbeaten so far this season, but at least there is no strong guarantee for Moncao to win in away matches this time. So yes, with these considerations, it is possible that the match will end with a draw result although indeed, at least Monaco still has a good chance too, because Monaco also has a good record in head to head against Lille.

Brest vs Paris Saint Germain
This match is a continuation of the match in week 10 of the Ligue 1 season. I think we will all agree to say Paris Saint Germain are the favorites in this match. They have also shown a good improvement in the last few matches, especially in the Champions League when they beat Ac Milan 3 goals without reply. The possibility of them continuing that positive result is wide open in this match.
But they must be careful with Brest, because Brest is also difficult to beat. Their defense so far can be said to be solid and that will certainly be their main focus in this match. Because a draw is a realistic result for them, so at least they try not to concede goals.

It's true, even though both teams appeared quite fierce and almost no goals were scored in the first 45 minutes, Nice managed to win with a narrow score in the 74th minute through a goal scored by Boudaoui which allowed Nice to maintain their winning streak again. This is an important point for Nice at a critical time to continue to maintain their chances in the standings as well as to continue to threaten Monaco at the top. Moreover, Nice also has to keep their distance from PSG's pursuit so that the points they get will feel even more special in the future.

Currently Nice is at the top of the standings but it looks like Monaco will shift their position again because Monaco has not played a match this week. But talking about Monaco, this time they will play Lille and it is quite a difficult match considering that both teams need points. I know that it is going to be quite difficult to have a new manager, with bunch of new players, and a locker room drama could result with a team not having a great start. They got rid of that and doing fine now, it is obvious that they are going to end up with a good team eventually. We should be giving them a chance to keep working towards that title, because I bet that they are going to have it eventually.

When you look at their goal stats, isn't it crazy how this team is ranked no.1, has not lost a single game, has the best defense in the league and pretty much the worst offense from all those teams at the top. I don't think there was ever a situation in the league similar to this one.

Well it is often said that the defense wins the games and in this case there couldn't be more truth to that as they hardly score any goals, which in turn means that they have the best defense. How would they otherwise be ahead of PSG and all those other clubs. It is just an abnormality that doesn't happen very often. I can't recall if I have seen something like that before.

France league is quite different from last season, there's alot going through these managers minds and they just hoped satisfied results comes one's way. Nice is on fire; they're pounding their opponents and desire to play stronger clubs. Who is the leader of Ligue One? It's strange to mention Nice, but they're back in form and hoping for one of their greatest results yet. Nice defeated Clermont with an essential approach devised by Francesco Farioli and his team. He is the team's intellect; his guys play according to their own personal style, but attain genuine when they face a more competitive team.

Last season's suprise came from Lens  they finished 2nd position with just a point behind PSG, however this season they're not even close to their performance in the previous one, but instead Nice have taken everyone by suprise and are doing what Lens should be doing, well I'm not concluding that since Nice are performing well and has got to the top means they   could stop PSG from defending their title,  im just impressed about their current performance and the effort they're putting to remain in the top 4.

 Well consistency matters and I'm not going to conclude yet cause the league is still far  and they'll need to be consistent for a while before I'll conclude that they could be a big treat to PSG,  but I'm impressed with their performance and how they're gradually becoming a tough team to play against in the Ligue 1 and even though they don't win the league I believe they'll finish top 4.

This is clearly very positive because they are currently a dark horse that still needs to be watched out for. The first half was quite balanced honestly. But after leaving it behind we started to watch a different team in the second half. We watched the ambitious version of Lens which we have seen in the Champions League so far. This was enough to crush Nantes by a final score like 4-0.

This was really a hard stomp by Lens. Because even in the previous season Lens beat them by 3-1. They were fighting for the league title back then. But it is nice to see Lens showing some good signs for the future in the season for the Ligue 1.
