This season PSG will have a little difficulty getting first place in Ligue1, although perhaps in the end PSG will be able to be at the top again this season. But for now PSG must continue to try as hard as they can to beat two rivals who are very consistent in winning matches, namely Nice and Monaco. That was way too early to make that type of decision to be fair. Between the drama that they had with Mbappe and not even getting him into the squad for the first game if I remember correctly, and then having so many new players as well, I have to say that it is not really all that shocking to have this type of result.

I know that it is going to be quite difficult to have a new manager, with bunch of new players, and a locker room drama could result with a team not having a great start. They got rid of that and doing fine now, it is obvious that they are going to end up with a good team eventually. We should be giving them a chance to keep working towards that title, because I bet that they are going to have it eventually.

How would they otherwise be ahead of PSG and all those other clubs. It is just an abnormality that doesn't happen very often. I can't recall if I have seen something like that before.

France league is quite different from last season, there's alot going through these managers minds and they just hoped satisfied results comes one's way. Nice is on fire; they're pounding their opponents and desire to play stronger clubs. Who is the leader of Ligue One? It's strange to mention Nice, but they're back in form and hoping for one of their greatest results yet. Nice defeated Clermont with an essential approach devised by Francesco Farioli and his team. He is the team's intellect; his guys play according to their own personal style, but attain genuine when they face a more competitive team.

 Well consistency matters and I'm not going to conclude yet cause the league is still far  and they'll need to be consistent for a while before I'll conclude that they could be a big treat to PSG,  but I'm impressed with their performance and how they're gradually becoming a tough team to play against in the Ligue 1 and even though they don't win the league I believe they'll finish top 4.

There is a Lens - Nantes game tomorrow. I hope to see that this game becomes an opportunity to rise for Lens in the league. Nantes are in a better situation and form in the league considering the last five games. But still Lens are quite much the favourite by bookmakers. I think we will see a win here but it might not be a comfortable one. It might end like 2-1.

Nantes, like their opponent Lens, are a team that likes to play on the wings and have been on the rise in the last few weeks of the league. Nantes have won four of their last five matches and the morale of the team is very high, while Lens have gained morale by not losing at home during the week. I expect Lens to attack with one-balls, to get into easy positions and they will have no problem finding positions.
Lens will start the game with more pressure and attack with the advantage of being at home. However, I don't think they will take enough precautions in defense. My suggestion is that there will be mutual goals in this match. I think Lens will be the more dominant side at the end of the match.

The first half was quite balanced honestly. But after leaving it behind we started to watch a different team in the second half. We watched the ambitious version of Lens which we have seen in the Champions League so far. This was enough to crush Nantes by a final score like 4-0.

This was really a hard stomp by Lens. Because even in the previous season Lens beat them by 3-1. They were fighting for the league title back then. But it is nice to see Lens showing some good signs for the future in the season for the Ligue 1.

Their performance is slowly rising after several matches at the beginning of the season  did not go well for Lens it seems that they have been able to get back to getting  their rhythm at the begining of this season.

Yes, but for me, from all these surprises, PSG will still be the strongest candidate to hold the League 1 title at the end of the season and maybe Nice and Monaco are in their heyday at the moment, but if after PSG shows its strongest performance, it won't be difficult to shift the position of these two clubs. because the strategy that PSG is currently using is deliberately not to appear too strong at first but after collecting a little more points PSG will immediately continue its positive trend of getting additional points every match and we will see how strong PSG with Mbappe but if he leaves for the season PSG will have a bad season ahead.
