PSG has always been the better side in all encounter they've had since the beginning of this season, is just that they're lost focus in some of the games even in the UCL. But tonight they face Montpellier which I don't see the away team to be a problem for the domestic champions.
It would be a smooth run for the home side, a win would make them top the table with Nice having a game at hand so if PSG blow this chance of being at the top then I see Nice who are sitting at the top getting a win and a gap (on point) above PSG.

They had some rough times along the line but I think they were still focused because they were still given out their best just that it did reflected in their performance that they did had some issues because it was quiet obvious amongst the players especially with mbappe.

Montpellier won't be a serious challenge to PSG especially as PSG will be playing at home, they are better when compared to Montpelier but then they shouldn't underestimate Montpelier because it's very possible they would want to win and smaller teams usually do so whenever they meet with bigger team, if PSG wins to night, they will be at the top of the table as they will be above Nice by two points. Nice are at the top of the table with 22 points while PSG will have 24 points.

Inconsistency is their problem at the moment, they are always the favorites but as you said sometimes they don't play according to what is expected, the result is several times they achieved unsatisfactory results despite dealing with clubs that cannot be considered strong.
Now they are slowly playing better, I don't know for sure whether they will continue to be consistent or not but they are the favorites and I myself see a good chance for them.
I hope they can play like they should and win this match.

There's no risks from PSG, rather they're just trying to explore good chances of upgrading their team. PSG president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi is building a good formidable team currently, I quite understand the whole situation of the team, not in a hurry to expects immediate results, rather expects them to be prominent in the future. PSG had outstanding players in the team and couldn't succeed winning the UEFA Champions League trophy, what makes them think they will carry any major trophy when these players have exited. Paris Saint-Germain chances of winning UCL title is very slim, they have a long way to go ahead of them.

I agree with you. Paris St Germain have put a stop to their recent bad run and are now looking in great form. Mbappe's transfer news and his lack of leadership could be one of the reasons for the team's poor form. However, Mbappe is now back in form and back in charge of the team. PSG are not completely reliable in defense this season and they need to strengthen their defense for both the league and the Champions League. However, they have been able to keep their opponents off the score sheet in games where they are slightly ahead. Montpellier, on the other hand, like to play in wide areas and often create space. With this approach to the game, when they get forward they can find positions and create danger, but they can also leave gaps in the defense at the back. With home advantage, PSG will take full advantage of the opposition's weaknesses and will score at least 2 goals or more in this match.

I do believe that they had a bad start due to a bit to Mbappe but also a bit to the fact that they had a new manager with a new system and a bunch of new players as well, all those could be reasons as well. I am not saying they were, I am just say that could have been one of the reasons. This game against Montpellier should actually be a win for PSG although interestingly PSG is weaker at home than they are in away games, but the data is still thin as the season is young, but Montpellier is also doing relatively well away from home. You're right because even with presence of the so called pensioners that are world class players in the team, they didn't even win the league with a very good gap in the points and just one lose would had made them bottle the title,thereby creating an opportunity for Lens who suprisenly came 2nd place to win the league, therefore the board noticed they were wasting alot of money on them without much benefits and needed to sell them and rebuild with younger talents and  new manager.

 They're gradually building a very strong team, they might not really perform well in the Champions League or get to the semi's but I think they'll win their league and from next season when they've built a better relationship amongst themselves on the pitch we'll see them performing very brilliantly in all competitions, with or without Mbappé.

This hope can be realized and is very possible, because we know that there are many surprises that occur in football. On the other hand, if Nice appears consistent it will create tight competition in Ligue 1, so it won't just be PSG that dominates the League. Young and inexperienced football players may be good for long-term investment, but they may have difficulty achieving sufficient success in a short time. PSG's former players were the best in the world and naturally success was higher. Now they are much weaker than before.

I think all the success Paris Saint-Germain FC had last season was thanks to Messi. Neymar had constant injury problems. Mbappe played selfishly most of the time. Paris Saint-Germain FC moved up a class because of Messi's talent. This season they have made many new signings but they will never reach the level they played with Messi. But they are lucky that there are no good teams in the French Ligue 1 that can challenge them for the title. They will be comfortably in the title race again. They are now playing Montpellier at home. They have 4 wins and 1 draw in their last 5 matches in the French Ligue 1. I expect them to win this game and extend their unbeaten streak to 6 games.

I believe nobody will deny that psg is not the favorite team to with today's match even the odd is more than 1.25 because psg is currently in form and from their three to four matches now psg have been winning the games with easily effort, and it really also make me believe even today's match psg have highest chances of winning compared to their montpellier current form, so with statistics psg have all the standard to defeat montpellier today but if it happens that it later lead to draw or lose I will not be much surprised because football is always full of surprises things sometimes due to anything can happen, I believe that many of us have witness many times big club with great form loses to weak teams and it almost every season, so it happen in different league competitions.

The match is already underway and has now entered the end of the first half with the provisional result being Paris Saint-Germain 1 - 0 Montpellier. PSG's only goal was a goal scored by Lee Kang-in at the start of the first half. No surpsies from Montpellier yet in this match, this team had a good performance so far against PSG but PSG is still PSG and they have much better players like Mbappe and Dembele in their team which can help them in this situation they have. After this match, if PSG wins the game, they can stay in the first place in the French league while they played one more than Nice and there is two points difference between these two teams.

Hopefully he can make a stronger duo with Mbappe in the near future. But for now I can't even be sure of Mbappe's future at this team.

The quality of players in the Paris Saint Germaine squad is absolutely too big to expect just one player to always score for the team to win games. Against Montpellier tonight, Kylian Mbappe failed to find the back of the net and also did not give any assist but the team convincingly beat the visitors which I think is absolutely normal.
Luis Enrique was finding it difficult to introduce the best playing pattern that'll bring out the best from the PSG players in during the start of the season but with their recent results and performance, the Spaniard seems to have finally found the best playing formation and style for his boys. Like I've always maintained, PSG I think are going to retain the French Ligue 1 again at the end of the season

Well i think there's an improvement in their team they're currently begin to build a good chemistry and that's why their performance as improved, they got a very good squad that most top managers would love to manage however Luis Enrique needs to figure out which strategy is very easy for his players and perfect it instead of texting different strategies in each match and making errors in his squad rotation, they should be lucky that Mbappé didn't leave this summer if not it would've been more difficult for them since their top finisher is still figure how to adapt perfectly into their system.

 PSG are the stronger side I'm all comparison and don't have any excuses if they lose or draw the game cause Montpellier is no match for them, I feel both teams would score but PSG would win the game with over 1.5 goals and Mbappé would score in the match cause he's in a good form currently and the fact that they're the hosting team would make it more easier for PSG.

We can see the results of this match, the fact is that Mbappe doesn't always score goals in every match he plays. In fact, he didn't even provide an assist. It's quite clear, if not always the star player will always contribute in every match. plus, as I said, Enrique emphasizes teamwork play. and it was proven, PSG was able to win this match with a score of 3-0. despite the fact, PSG's striker players did not contribute to scoring goals in this match.
Regarding strategy, it would be very natural for the coach to always change it and adapt it to the opposing team. In terms of pattern, in several matches, Enrique is now starting to apply a 4-2-2 pattern. Maybe, he wants to maximize his team. especially, against a team that tends to play defensively.

Regarding Mbappe, I have a different perception from you. For me, both are equally beneficial. In fact, Mbeppe chose to stay until his contract expires in 2024. If Mbappe left, that would be normal.  because, the coming and going of players will always happen all the time, but not for Kub. If Mbappe leaves, the club will look for and bring in the ideal player. However, gradually without Mbeppe, PSG will find their own way with the financial conditions they have. and that's why, Enrique is now the head coach of PSG. 

Regarding the match results, this match was as I predicted in the post above. At least PSG will score two goals against Montpellier, I would even say that PSG has the potential to score more goals than that. and yep, the handicap option -1.7 @1.80 meets my expectations. Unfortunately, Mbappe did not take part in scoring goals. I think, at least he will contribute 1 goal. With this result, PSG temporarily shifted Nice's position by 2 points and became the top of the Ligue 1 standings.
