Nice tried their best to win this match, they even controlled the game and took 12 shots, only 3 of which were on target, but unfortunately the result was still a draw. Nice are not yet mentally ready to become PSG's tough competitors this season because they don't have players who are strong enough in all lines and when players get stuck they don't have any other options.

Of course, the draw is very profitable for PSG, who will face Reims in a few moments, and PSG will not waste this opportunity to overtake Nice in first place. PSG definitely looks like they have a good chance to win, they are the much better team. I understand that some people may feel like they are not doing the best they possibly could, but that is definitely the way it could go on about. I feel like the best thing to do right now would be just making sure that everyone knows what they are doing, and they are at the mercy of football gods.

Normally PSG should have an easy win, but just like any game of sports, the favorites have a "higher" chance but not guaranteed to win, which means that even though we should probably see PSG to win this game, there is a possibility that they may get a draw or a loss out of this too. Too bad for me because in the end Nice team couldn't scored, I was really disappointed that Nice couldn't win in that match. Yes, you are right ! without 3 points, Nice position now can be take over by PSG, which are currently leads with a score of 3 against Reims. And it seems like Reims also couldn't make a surprise in this match, although there are have several golden opportunities to score but they not lucky, also there were only a few minutes left and I don't think Reims had enough time at there to equal the scored.

Nice really tried their possible best to win the match, but it is not always easy to win away from home. They dominated the game and played very well; they were not lucky and they drew the game, but they tried, and this performance should not be discouragement for them because I know they have a good plan for the season because they have consistency in their performance.

I am not surprised by this draw today because Montpellier are trying to regain the dignity they used to have against Nice back then in 2018 and 2019, but Nice are now winning them since 2021. Therefore, this draw is not a bad result for Nice; they will manage it and stay in the second position, one point behind PSG.

still PSG position is not safe because the difference in points from Nice is only 1 point while Nice is more stable at this time the last match ended in a draw while PSG experienced 1 defeat and this is what I see that Mbappe appears unstable, sometimes the performance looks strong like yesterday match and sometimes cannot contribute anything while competing. and from the last few matches we can take away the fact that PSG is still dependent on Mbappe. This week has been going on the opposite of my thoughts on the Ligue 1. I expected Nice to win and PSG to lose points. However Nice's performance was really poor against Montpellier. I mean they were really bad at finding the target. Besides Montpellier had a really good performance in the defense line. They managed to keep it at 0-0 until the end.

When it comes to the Reims - PSG match PSG just finished off their opponent by 3-0. Actually Reims were playing decently in the first half. They were nearly answering Mbappe's 1st goal quickly but Ito's goal was disallowed due to offside. They couldn't score a goal in the half despite trying hard. I saw only Ito performing really nicely at Reims.

After that PSG took control of the second half and secured a comfortable win. Mbappe had a wonderful day with a hat-trick indeed.

I feel like it is definitely a thing where they need Mbappe to shine all by himself in order to get what they want out of him, that is an important part of their plan. If he is not going to play like the star he is, then why is he getting Saudi Arabian league amount of money from them. He is the highest paid footballer outside of that league (and maybe Messi depending on the revenue share) and that means he has to actually do something wonderful.

There is no reason for him to be paid that much and still be "part of the team" type of player, he has to do something individually amazing to justify that much money. He is doing alright, he did helped them, but the expectations being high for him is normal, that should be the case.
