Ligue 1 will forever only be a farmers' league because even though PSG experienced bad results, they managed to recover and started to displace other teams in the top flight. The instability of other teams is also worth asking why they are like that and in fact it is the same as allowing PSG to move freely without obstacles towards the top of the standings.

And I don't think PSG is going to have any kind of drop like that because the performance from them right now is quite stable. I have to say that the new coach has done really well with the club.

Anyone who was able to have followed the development in the French Ligue 1 last season will definitely be shocked by Lens significant decline in form since the start of the season because last season, they were one of the top contenders that challenged eventual winners Paris Saint Germaine for the French league title. They've been a shadow of the Lens team we all saw last season and the reason behind their decline is something I don't even know.

Monaco and Nice has been outstanding this season season and looks like the two top teams that are gonna strongly challenge league leaders PSG for the title but that being said, I don't think they have all it takes to stop the reigning champions of France PSG from retaining the league title once more. The quality of players in the PSG set-up is just too good to be stopped by any French team from retaining the title once again.

Lens who not just like Tottenham went down the log but went far below and have had poor run of form since then, how would a team go from top to botton in weeks. Like what went wrong?? I think they became very unserious at some point or maybe they sold some of their important players, however they're gradually trying to get back on track.

 The Ligue 1 has always had PSG as traditional leaders and that could still be so this season even though Monacco and Nice are seriously gunning for that title but I feel they might not have he strength and depth to keep PSG on their toes for a long period of time, PSG have the quality of title winners and they would surety take home this season’s Ligue 1 trophy to add to their cabinet, however they need to maintain consistency so it won't slip away from them like it almost did last season.

PSG's dominance destroyed all its competitors, AS Monaco, Lyon, Marseille, most ironically Saint Etienne who is now relegated to Division 2 even though they used to dominate the French League for 7 consecutive seasons. Now that Lyon has fallen at the bottom of the standings, it is not surprising that Lyon will end up like this. Lyon now needs an injection of funds from investors to avoid the relegation zone this season because it would be a shame if Lyon had to drop to the second caste this season.

It's the same as Ajax, Basel and Lyon have been in trouble this season, but there are good signs here. Ajax have recently turned their fortunes around under a new manager, while Lyon picked up their first league win of the season, although this did not help them bottom out as Clermont won their last game at the same time. It is surprising that they are now fighting to avoid relegation after years of financial crisis.

I mean PSG dominance could be an important role in this, but we can't really just put all the blame on them. Lyon was mismanaged and they could have been still fine, look at the league there are so many teams who just try to do their best and that should be fine, whereas we are looking at the Lyon situation and they are doing terribly. It should not have been like this, they should have done better and this should have been not an issue at all. I understand that it may cause some trouble that PSG is there, but they could have still fought for a top 5 finish every year, if they have done that then they would have been fine. A situation where they are not going for it, means that they are not managed properly, Monaco has been better than Lyon, that doesn't make sense when Lyon won so many times.

Lens decline in performance was due sale of their key players, Seko Fofana and Lois Openda and both them are key players last season for Lens. If they want to sell key players, Lens should be patient. I mean do that's one by one every season, but if they have other key players in squad. But it seems like Lens management only wants big money, by selling these two players. Although on the other side they can get other players too, and make those players shine at there but it's also not easy, they are are need a lot of time to shine.

PSG have a great ambition and financial power, they didn't hesitate to have the best player, even expensive players. With the current depth of PSG squad, I also think that other teams in League 1 will not be able to stop PSG from winning the title.

The club is rich and they are ready to spend so much than other clubs in the league to get any available player they want this alone shows how superior they are to other clubs who does not spend so much of buying players like the PSG team. Regardless of the PSG team not getting the results they have been looking for wieh the squad in the team but they have achieved so much in the league as they have dominated in the league with highest number of league trophies and club achievement so they remain the best till further notice.

Nice has not been defeated at all this season in 13 matches, but I don't see them as worthy to challenge PSG. PSG is obviously a top team and it’s very normal if they’re dominating in Ligue 1, where the fans needed changes and the main reason why Luis Enrique was hired was to get this team success in European tournaments and that’s one thing that he’s already failing. Newcastle being in top form pose a threat to PSG but the hosting team PSG was probably great enough to get at least one point from this Newcastle side so as to get their spot in Round of 16 of the tournament

 I think they don’t really have the squad depth to grant them success so far and I think the Round of 16 might be the closing stage for this PSG side except they do some quick and critical shopping in the January market, to bluster their team and strengthen all the weak areas that needs to be strengthened.

In this January transfer window, perhaps Enrique will release several of his players who are rarely given the opportunity to play. for example, Hugo Ekitike, Nuno Mendez even though he is still injured, Kimpembe, or other players which gives them space to bring in other players to complement Enrique's squad.

Current standing, Nice remaining one point from PSG and both teams are strong candidate become the winner of Ligue 1 season 2023/24, AS Monaco could be third option favorite team but they have less consistent in last several matches and make gap six points from current top standings PSG. Seems very early for predicting about both teams PSG and Nice are favorite team will be candidate Ligue 1 winner because left many matches and all possibilities happen due still have Marseille, AS Monaco and Lille will make pressure for PSG on top standings.

Little disappointed with Ligue 1 teams participants on Champion League because PSG and Lens still not qualify to 16 round, PSG difficult to beat Dortmund, Milan and Newcastle in Group H. Yes, the opportunity for PSG to win the title in league 1 is still wide open this season, although Nice is more consistent because they haven't experienced a defeat, but Nice has lost a lot of points due to draws and in my opinion Nice can't break PSG's dominance to still win the title in league 1.

Coach Luis Enrique is a coach who has achieved many achievements and has sufficient experience. The club is still remain unpredicatable but the chance owned by PSG is the biggest one compared with other club like nice and monaco.
At the end, league is just another bundesliga which has been dominated by bayern for 11 years. I thought that nice and monaco would be strong competitors for PSG but it's likely we will have same result as last season.

Im not hoping to those clubs anymore. League 1 is just another farmer league for PSG. There must be billionaires who will be able to invest their money on the french league. Otherwise, PSG will keep dominate it.

I believe in Nice to maintain this competitiveness until the final weeks of the season. I hope so as well at the same time because otherwise PSG are going to finish their work early and announce their championship again. If you ask me which team in the league will make it to the title I would still say PSG of course. But at least we can watch some heated title race between two teams. PSG are doing well in the Ligue 1 these days maybe but they aren't performing the same in the Champions League.

If this inconsistency starts to show its affects in the Ligue 1 again as well Nice had better make use of that. Nice are still the only team without a loss but they are drawing too much.
