I have been notice Brest achievement this season because they have a potention to finish at higher positions on league standings compared to last season and their performance much impressive now because from 10 latest matches in all competitions Brest can able to gets 7 wins and only lose twice even from those matches Brest can gets 6 cleansheet and from these statistics we can see Brest has strong balanced to attack and defense and if they can able to managed their performance until end of this season i think they have a good chance to finish at top 5 and playing at European competitions which is this was never done before

Previously Brest target is only to avoiding relegation zone because the owner know it's hard to compete with big teams just like Monaco, Lille or Marseille for european zone but surprisingly Brest has fantastic performance this season and until week 18 Brest have already to collect 34 points with only gets 4 loses but after fight against FC Trélissac at France Cup Brest will gets hard match next weekend because they have to fight against PSG and most likely Brest will suffering their 5th loses from this match because we all know PSG is unstoppable at this league and it's very hard to beat them

Since being promoted again 4 years ago, Brest has been able to get very good results this season, it looks very strong, has strong consistency and it seems like what you said, Brest seems to have no difficulty competing in League 1 and the only difficulty that is considered difficult is competing against PSG and Monaco but with other clubs Brest was able to get a draw and win.

If you look at the depth of Brest's players, it looks like this club will appear consistent until the end of the season and playing against Trelissac is a very easy task.

In last season they were ended on 14th and there were no chance like this which they are achieving and having good chance for staying into top ranks too many top clubs are struggling and having no chance for the competing for the top spots, but they are doing impressive run now on 28th January they are going to visit PSG which is surely going to be the toughest challenge for them, but one thing is sure PSG will also face something impressive because in current season they are not easy opponent for the top teams.

Their attack and defense both are doing good job and have good combination which is giving them fair chance even still things can take changes but as they have done in first half of this season this is surely impressive and with this consistency and quality they deserve to be stayed in these top ranks until end of this season and have good reward for their consistency.

how did you learn about the news about Mbappe extending his contract with PSG?
so far as I know there has been no confirmation regarding Mbappe future and contract which is currently still mystery and I just think logically that if the transfer market closes this month but there still no confirmation whatsoever Mbappe will definitely only be at PSG until his contract expires.
I really understand that PSG fans really want Mbappe to stay with PSG but they also have to be able to accept whatever happens because Mbappe a player who has high quality talent and he has full power to determine the future of his career.

If they want to get the Champions League title I think this is a serious problem that must be resolved. Because if Mbappe leaves PSG I don't think it will affect them significantly in Ligue 1 because we know there are no other teams at the same level. But the possibility of them not winning the league will be greater than now. If Mbappe leaves I think it will be difficult to sign another potential striker unless they can negotiate his salary. It's true, additional midfielders and defenders are also needed because if you only improve one position it won't support the other positions in a match. I think there are so many players in that position and again whether Lyon's finances can meet all these needs. Last summer Gift Orban was into radar several big teams just like AC Milan, Tottenham and Barcelona this because Gift Orban can successfully to impress these teams when he still playing at FC Stabaek and when Gift Orban decide moved to KAA Gent he still able to managed his performance which make those teams above will thinking possibility to buy him but i don't know why this transfer never happend and now Lyon has successfully to gets his signs and apparently Lyon has really know his potention so they dare to give Gift Orban long term contract duration

Checking the recent performance of Gift Orban, he couldn't have good performances recently and he didn't score many goals for his team. Maybe he could be a good option for Lyon if was in good form while he is currently not. well they started pretty good at the early stages of the season and even kept a good unbeaten run for a while, everyone felt they were the team to challenge PSG's dominance this season not until they started dropping points and even allowed PSG to top the league to an extent of gapping them with about 8points currently. I don’t see them closing the gap, cause PSG is in a very good form recently, their players are now beginning to communicate better on the pitch, hence their recent good form, therefore i don't see them dropping 8 points and letting Nice to come top again.

 Well, Nice tried in getting this far cause of their strong defense line, i think they should try maintaining this position and qualify for the UCL, which would attract upcoming talents to join their team, they have one major area to work on, which is the attack and i think if they could bring in a natural born top 9 that could come in and adapt well into their system then they’ll be good to go for the title challenge next season. I was convinced that the Nice team would not be able to compete with PSG for the title. They will lag behind the competition. Because Nice team is second in the table but this team is not strong enough.

Nice managed to score only 19 goals in 18 matches. Lorient, who are at the bottom of the points table, have also scored 21 goals in 18 matches.
