It is not easy for other teams in League 1 to break PSG's dominance as long as PSG still has Mbappe and the strong squad PSG has still won the League 1 title. this season is not the season for PSG to win the UCL title and it is very impossible like the previous season even though it has star players but the coach is very influential and plays an important role while Enrique is currently still new at PSG and he needs some time to be able to contribute to the right strategy. to be able to take PSG to a higher level.

I still don't believe Lorient will continue to slump in the relegation zone and the previous heavy defeat against Brest continues to worsen their position. Lorient can only collect 12 points in 2023 and from 17 matches they have 2 wins, 6 draws and 9 defeats. Le Havre and Metz seem to have good competitiveness to stay in Ligue 1, after promotion last season. Meanwhile, currently, Clermont, Lorient and Toulouse are in the red zone, due to only being able to achieve 2 wins in 17 matches. There is still a chance to recover, because we see that there is still a lot of match left, but I think they will have difficulty in their efforts.

Lyon consistently recovered by winning 3 consecutive wins, after previously being at the bottom of the standings. While the top standings still belong to PSG, I think Mbappe and colleagues will be champions again this season, no team can seriously pressure them in the hunt for the Ligue 1 trophy.

PSG must not underestimate Real Sociedad. They were able to perform quite well in the Group by ranking first and not experiencing defeat. In La Liga they also performed quite well even though they were only able to be in the top 10. PSG is too dominant in Ligue 1 this season and no other team is able to compete with them. I just hope people don't get bored with Ligue 1 because there are no worthy opponents for PSG. I think NICE can be a contender this season but with 2 defeats in the last 5 matches I think NICE have to find a way for them to continue to be consistent in their game.

Guys, you are too busy talking about PSG, Nice, Lens, or even Lyon that you forget that Brest at the end of this year has moved up to 4th place in the standings. If we look back, Brest is a mid-table team and has often finished at the bottom of the table in the past few seasons. However, this season they gave different results and continued to achieve consistent wins in every match. Brest are unbeaten in the last 6 matches and they have only lost 4 times so far. This is a very good record considering that they can now be in the top flight and have quite a big point difference over teams like Lille, Marseille and Lens.

I'm curious whether Brest will be able to finish in the top 4 this season or will they return to mid-table because the competition will be increasingly difficult in the remainder of this season and if they let their guard down then that could possibly happen in the future. PSG had the most stars last season but even with the most world class stars they did not do well in the Champions League last season.  When PSG made one surprise in last season's transfer window, we football fans thought maybe PSG would win the champions trophy this season but they forgot to buy midfielders and quality defenders in their rush to buy so many strikers. The result was that while they did well in the strike positions, they did not perform well in the midfield and defense positions due to which they underperformed last season despite high expectations. PSG has less star players this season compared to last season but the team is doing well this season with the arrival of a new manager. The limits to PSG's improvement may remain limited to Ligue 1 this season.
