Paris Saint Germain will make a great impression i are sure of it and against Chelsea who are still a strong team but aren't giving much at the moment it won't be too difficult for them to replicate an excellent performance like they did last time, but in football anything is possible, it must be said that the English teams aren't doing much.

PSG did excellently well last night and qualified to the next round of the champions league without much resistance from the English side, so to me i then understood that they may have been doing all they were doing to prepare for the champions league and not giving a chance in any form to the English side, so now that they have made it this far, maybe they will now pay some attention to their domestic league and get the most they can get form it so they have the tittle defended and not watch lens snatch it form them this season.

PSG have taken revenge on Chelsea in a good way and that is at Chelsea's home ground. In both legs, we saw PSG as unstoppable, winning both home and away by equal margins. They also lost the FIFA Club World Cup by a margin of 3 goals. However, PSG's main goal was not to take revenge, but to continue their journey to the Champions League without any obstacles. They have succeeded in their plan so far. As the defending champions, PSG are still hopeful of the title, and like last season, we see them devastating in the knockout matches this season. Lens are also far behind in the domestic league.

As I've said before, I actually doubt Lens can maintain their consistency to compete closely with PSG. This is evident by Lens dropping three crucial points, so I don't have high expectations for Lens this season, but finishing second is already an achievement for them.

So far, no team has really been able to maintain consistency in Ligue 1. Although Lens performed exceptionally well and briefly topped the standings, they have since slipped back and even dropped points when they had the chance to overtake PSG. This is why I’m sure that PSG has a strong chance of winning the Ligue 1 title this season, because even though they aren’t at their best and are focused on the Champions League, no other team has been able to overtake them.

That’s the must annoying thing that always make this league to be referred to as farmers league; only PSG is the big team that always win the title, other teams that have the history before PSG are relaxed, they are not more making effort to reinforce their team to get the glory back to their respective teams; I am making reference to the like of Lyon, Marseille, and Monaco.

These teams are the closest teams to compete with PSG, but instead Lens is the only team that made it difficult for PSG even though the couldn’t maintain the tempo till the end, but they fought really hard to make the competition lively and I think they will achieve their dream of playing in the Champions League next season if they keep performing great like this.

I don't think it will be a very difficult match for Paris Saint-Germain. They won comfortably in the first leg, and they will undoubtedly make excellent use of their three-goal advantage in England. Paris Saint-Germain achieved one of the best possible results in France. Chelsea, on the other hand, will do their best, hoping to beat them by three goals and force extra time, just like in the Club World Cup final.

Chelsea were unable to do anything, even conceding and failing to score a single goal in the second leg. Chelsea's performance in the second leg was just as poor as the first and they played under even more pressure, having to equalize the aggregate. Chelsea's play was also ineffective making frequent mistakes and PSG played a far more dominant game, scoring three unanswered goals in the match. PSG's victory was slightly easier because Chelsea were unable to play at their best, allowing them to score two goals in the first half.

PSG defeated Chelsea 2-8 on aggregate. It was a resounding scoreline and demonstrated their dominance over the Premier League representatives. Chelsea is one of the best teams in the Premier League, but they were able to beat them even by a large margin. PSG's next match is against Nice. This should be an easy win for them, as Nice is not a top-10 team in Ligue 1. In another match, Lens lost to Lorient, costing them the chance to overtake PSG in first place. If PSG can win that match, they will be four points ahead of Lens. This will give PSG an advantage, as they can rotate their players if they have a busy schedule. On the other hand, Lens' chances of winning the title are very slim and almost impossible, as they are four points behind PSG, meaning it is almost impossible for Lens to win the title and break PSG's dominance.

Lens has whatever they can get during this period and while they may not end up with the title by the looks of it, that's still alright because they can finish second and that would be big enough victory for them. This team did not get any consideration even before the season started, and most didn't even considered them top four team. So the fact that they are here is already a huge achievement and I would say that it's doing wonderful for them without a doubt.

I understand it may not be that easy to handle any of this, but the reality is that we are reaching to a point where things are looking great for everyone, and that's why PSG will win and be happy, and Lens will be second and be happy, and Marseille will probably be third and that's not bad too for them.

I think PSG has been pretending all this while so that Chelsea wouldn't see them as a team just is capable of knocking them out and their plans worked perfectly well for them because they defeated Chelsea both home and away to move to the next stage in the champions League. Now PSG will have to keep fighting to extend their gap against Lens as well as getting ready for their next opponent in the champions League quarter finals, their domestic league will need more attention but that won't stop them from defending their champions League title because they are still one of the favorite to win it.

The fact that PSG didn't get a game just because they have UCL is silly to me, all the teams there have games on the weekends and play a lot of games, and then also play the UCL game, a federation postponing game of a team just so they can be rested for the UCL is giving them an unfair disadvantage if you ask me.

However, it happened on a such game that people didn't really complained, because lets face it even if tired, PSG could have beaten Chelsea, and this wouldn't be like that CWC finals.

For me I think PSG's qualification was already confirmed after the first leg in Paris where Chelsea lost by 5-2, the return match was more like a walk in the park for PSG because the London side had already given every hopes of qualifying due to the large goal margin they conceded against PSG.
PSG are gradually regaining their confidence despite all the challenges in the French ligue1 and they have this antecedents of doing better in this part of the competition making them a difficult team to face in the UCL when it comes to the elimination round.

You have a really great point which I Stan with you on this but then I still believe never to say never because it is not over untill it is actually over, Lens be moving brilliantly and you cannot think less of them completely because even the point difference is just so slim that the slightest mistake by PSG could mean handing the trophy into the hands of Lens without much fights, so for me I will actually keep an open mind to this and see how it goes.

PSG happens to be amongst the favourites to win this year's edition of the champions League due to their status as defending champions and at such any team that would face them would have to brace up very well in order not to allow the french team overwhelm them, Chelsea couldn't handle them because they dominated Chelsea in the first leg and scored lots of goals that weakened Chelsea, as a result, the Chelsea side became weak and less proactive in the second leg, because the PSG side were still bent on ensuring that Chelsea do not have a chance of coming back into that game, and that why PSG continued with intense attack against the Chelsea team to prevent Chelsea from being be on the offensive.

Agreed! It doesn't make sense to think like PSG are pretending in the Ligue 1. Have they been pretending all this time from the beginning of the season just to look weaker before facing Chelsea? 

PSG are having an inconsistent year for real. They didn't have a good league phase in the Champions League too. They struggled against Monaco right after it. But it looks like something started going better for them that they destroyed Chelsea easily.
