It's just being so annoying to me seeing how Lens and the rest of the other teams in the French League aren't stepping up their games to try to dethrone PSG from dominating this side of the league for a very long time now, and I don't know when any of them will be able to do such, live up to expectations, and change this tradition that has long been witnessed here. I expect these other teams to boost their squads and bring in quality players too, as PSG has quite a good number of interesting players on their team who have helped them in maintaining their dominance until today.
For one team to be dominating the league competition, it hardly makes the league interesting. That is why Ligue 1 is not too highly rated, because it is not competitive. I want to see different teams winning Ligue 1, but the way things are going, I don't think any other team will be able to win the league for a long time except PSG.No team is really ready to spend money to bring in new players and strengthen their squad. It has been a long time that I have been looking up to Monaco, Lyon, and Marseille, hoping that they would strengthen their teams seriously and challenge PSG, but they are not ready. In fact, Lens, a team I didn't even think would be in the race, are now the team competing with PSG. However, with the quality of their squad, it would take a lot of luck for them to win Ligue 1, and even with luck, they would still find it very difficult. It was even last season that I was expecting Lens to take advantage of the situation, as they were not in the Champions League. PSG were also not putting as much effort into the Ligue 1 competition because they had shifted their focus towards the Champions League. Marseille did spend. They were simply changing managers every 8 months. A team identity cannot be established if the coach is different every other season. It is like renovating a house but changing architects halfway through every time. Monaco and Lyon have totally different situations. Lyon literally had financial regulators telling them they CANNOT spend. And Monaco is based on developing players and selling them the second they are good. That is how they stay alive. Basically they are an extremely successful academy with the occasional title winning team for around 6 months and only for a short while before the market starts dismantling them. Where Lens actually lost the title was not against PSG. Those were the autumn games against clubs that were responsible for relegation. October. That is when the championship went downhill. Not due to PSG or the Champions League or anything dramatic.

I didn't see the first 45 minutes of the game but I was sure as hell they were as bad as shit. I saw the second 45 minutes though where they fought hard to win but couldn't get the necessary three points. I think this is a wake up call the staffs and management that they need to sit up. You can not have such a poor start and expect to continue this way.
Rennes played a very tactical football. I didn’t expect the kind of play I got from them tonight. They were very coordinated behind and looked really dangerous in the attacking position. PSG defense was poor today, Rennes found ways to get behind their lines easily and got the ball right where they wanted it. I suppose PSG underestimated them and only realized when they were 2 goals down. It was a tough one for Enrique and his boys today but, you just know these guys and their winning mentality, they never were going to lose that game. Luis Enrique knew the right substitution to make in that critical match. Rennes would have left with all three point if Torres had not gotten those two goals in the second half. I think PSG were over confident they would have an easy game only to meet a tense game. If not for Willian Pacho save in the last minutes of game maybe the match would have ended in 3 -2. Rennes gave their best in their first game for the season I expect them to keep up the pace so the can give ligue1 the competition it needs.

I waited till the final whistle before coming to respond to your comment. PSG was lucky to have equalized the two goals they conceded in the first half, I had already given up on the game when they were down by 2:0 but all thanks to F. Torres who was their savior tonight as he scored brace to help PSG share points with Rennes. Your prediction was almost perfect, Mendes absence affected PSG and Rennes took advantage of their loophole to score, both teams scored but PSG couldn't win cause their second goal so late but hopefully PSG does better in their next match.
I think PSG also played poorly at the start of last season. Perhaps it's due to the way Enrique plans his players' form at the start of the season. They struggle a lot, but gradually reach their peak form towards the end of the season. The Super Cup match against Lens showed they weren't quite there, and the match against Rennes confirmed it. But it's strange that they beat Aston Villa so easily, although perhaps Aston Villa's first match against Brighton shows they're also in very poor form, that's why PSG were able to beat them in the Super Cup. Not the best start to a new season, but I think PSG always play poorly at the start of a new season.

Last season, they played Rennes at home for the first time, and it was already almost halfway through the season. They won 5–0, while away from home toward the end of the season, they lost 3–1. So it seems that PSG simply have a hard time playing away against Rennes. I don’t remember exactly how they started last season, but I feel like they were already at the top of the table from the very first few rounds, and only occasionally switched between first and second place with Lens. I think this draw was just a fluke, and PSG will sort things out in their next games, although their upcoming matches against Lille and Monaco could also be difficult.

They need to be more careful now. They've lost a final and dropped two points in the league. If they want to win the Champions League again this year, they can't make these kinds of mistakes. I don't see a better team than them in France. The players need to get more involved in the game.

Last season, PSG started well, but worse than usual - they didn't build up a reserve for the decisive part of the season, so at some point it seemed like Lens had a chance. This season, PSG is off to an even worse start - a defeat in the Super Cup and a draw in the opening game. Honestly, after their Super Cup loss, I couldn't imagine PSG having a second consecutive unsuccessful game, so I boldly added their victory to my multiple bet. Ironically, it was this outcome that ruined it.

Paris Saint-Germain didn't start the season well but it can happen, come on it will be more fun and more compact. Surely Paris Saint-Germain will win again and there won't be any for any team. The Paris Saint-Germain players are still not in form, from the next match they will try to do better and bring home the 3 points. However, there are two difficult games ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and they will do everything they can to not lose points.

Defending champion PSG kicked off the season with a draw on the road against Rennes. Rennes, which went into halftime with a lead thanks to goals from Szymanski and Lepaul, struggled to secure a victory. I don’t think this was a bad result for Rennes, which was unable to stop Ferran Torres from scoring two goals.

I don't see any team in the world that would be upset about drawing with Paris Saint-Germain. That's why I think Rennes was happy with their victory. Because even getting one point against a team like Paris Saint-Germain means you're ahead of the rest of the team. They almost got three points, in fact. If they had been a little luckier, they might have even inflicted Paris Saint-Germain's first and only league defeat. Because we know they're not a team that gets beaten easily.

I am impressed with Rennes, they performed well tonight by taking advantage of PSG’s weakness to secure one point for themselves, if other teams can all buckle up to stop pSG dominance in the league 1 it will be better for them and their league will not be called farmers league again, but it PSG keeps dominating the League 1, they will lose relevance because people will only watch their league only PSG have a match to play, and other leagues will be rated ahead of them.
Lens, Lyon, Lille, Marseille, and Monaco all win their first games of the season, I will want them to improve this time, winning consistency will actually make PSG to be afraid of losing their position, and the league dominance, and at the end, one of them can win the league.
The teams are starting to know how to play with Paris day by day but do you want to hear the truth? Take it or leave it, Paris Saint German would still win the league at the end of the season. What happened yesterday was normal and it happen every season because players have not yet had their physical preparation. PSG will gradually increase their strength little by little as the form comes back and still dominate the league as usual. I really love to see real competition in every league but it's obvious no team can stand PSG in this league for now. You'll be here to lament when other teams you expect to challenge PSG start fumbling and given PSG a free ticket to win the league easily.

Luis Enrique knew the right substitution to make in that critical match. Rennes would have left with all three point if Torres had not gotten those two goals in the second half. Rennes were impressive in their first match of the season, but judging by the level of possession in that match, PSG shouldn't have struggled. However, I was surprised by the result, as PSG were already two goals down in the first half, even though PSG's players were still superior in quality to Rennes's. Regardless of the result, I hope Rennes can continue to improve throughout the season to create fierce competition with PSG and other teams, and Ligue 1 won't be boring.

Rennes are aiming for a top finish in the French league this year, and they demonstrated this with their performance against Paris Saint-Germain. They even went 2-0 up against the reigning Champions League champions, but we know how high-quality Paris Saint-Germain is. Towards the end of the match, new signing Ferran Torres scored two goals, proving himself to the fans. Everyone was very pleased with his performance, especially since he came on as a substitute in the second half. I don't think Barcelona will regret signing him.

I predict PSG will still win this match, although it won’t be easy because Mendes, a reliable defender, is likely to miss today’s game. Therefore, Rennes will have a chance to score. My prediction is that the match will end 1–2, with BTTS being the straightforward betting option. But, I prefer the PSG win & BTTS option because it offers better odds. I waited till the final whistle before coming to respond to your comment. PSG was lucky to have equalized the two goals they conceded in the first half, I had already given up on the game when they were down by 2:0 but all thanks to F. Your prediction was almost perfect, Mendes absence affected PSG and Rennes took advantage of their loophole to score, both teams scored but PSG couldn't win cause their second goal so late but hopefully PSG does better in their next match. Paris Saint-Germain couldn't win Stade Rennes because Mendes was absent in the game yesterday and with my observation when the match was still going, i noticed the essence why Paris Saint-Germain was missing Mendes that yesterday game, so this is one of the reason why a gambling should always verify or analyze any teams if any of their keys is undergoing treatment of any kind, that will prevent him from not being future in the match, before concluding on how your prediction will look like, as we can see in the match, assuming Torres F. didn't score those goals, i don't know what could have be come the faith of Paris Saint-Germain but at least the game ended 2:2 draw.

No one could have predicted this score before the match. Paris Saint-Germain was, of course, the favorite by many. Furthermore, the betting odds were quite low, and everyone clearly thought Paris Saint-Germain would easily win. However, this changed as soon as the match started. Rennes fought very well and went into halftime with a lead. Moreover, they managed to score two goals against a team like Paris Saint-Germain. After these goals, Paris Saint-Germain began to change their tactics and, with the help of their tired defenders in the final minutes, became effective in attack and scored two goals. The draw is disappointing for Paris Saint-Germain, but for Rennes, it's good news that they earned a point against a tough opponent.

PSG really messed up in the first half of the game by conceding two goals before the close of the first half. They have won only one out of last five games which is quite disappointing for the UCL Champions, this season has not really being a good start for them so far. But this is just the start of the season though, so it's still too early to decide how the rest of the season would be. PSG would find it so difficult to win the Champions league this season as other clubs are showing so much momentum to the start of the season.

My concerns finally came true, and the match ended in a draw. Mendes has become one of the key players in PSG’s lineup, and he provides defensive balance when Hakimi pushes forward to support the attacking players and break through the opposition’s defense. His absence was clearly a major setback because Lucas Hernandez was expected to replace Mendes, but his contribution turned out to be below our expectations. This is now making me hesitant to bet on PSG to win when they play away.

I thought PSG would lose after falling behind 2-0 in the first half. They were in complete disarray. The defense was sluggish, allowing Rennes players to easily break through because they were slow to close down the space. Fortunately, Luis Enrique quickly read the situation and made immediate substitutions at the start of the second half. The impact was immediate, PSG play began to find its shape. Ferran Torres saved PSG from defeat with two goals in the 71st and 82nd minutes. It also marked a brilliant debut with his new club. I don't want to jump to conclusions just yet. The result of the first match cannot be used to gauge their chances of retaining the UCL trophy. There is still a long way to go. Let's see how they fare in the next few matches.

PSG without Mendes there was too much opening in the defense not even Lucas Hernandez could cover that gap because Rennes attackers had their way to penetrate into the box of PSG without fear of nobody stopping them but PSG survived yet the game because of the level of force and attacks they mounted on their opponent I believe the coach of PSG will have to caution Mendes this time because if he is sent of again then PSG will have to deal with any outcome they will get because it seems down of the teams in the league is getting tired of their dominance and they want to punish them this season by tight them very hard.

PSG is aiming to top the French league this year, but we think Rennes could be a real contender for the top spot. PSG's morale was low in yesterday's match but new signing Torres replaced Ousmane Dembele and scored two goals to save PSG from embarrassment, in fact we can see that his speed has increased since he scored the winning goal in a thrilling match like the World Cup. Given the impeccable performance of PSG's newly-signed Spanish player, I think Barcelona may be making a mistake by letting him go, as the team had previously let go of France's best player, Ousmane Dembele. PSG struggled in the first half of yesterday's match but later a former Barcelona player took over the team resulting in them sharing points against Rennes other in that match.

Did actually made a mistake by letting Ousmane Dembele go, because when he left the club discovered Lamine Yamal who I wouldn’t need to describe his impact to Barcelona to you because it’s visible, plus wasn’t Demeble always injured at Barcelona and that’s the major reason they got him sold. I don’t understand why when a team sells a player you fans comes up after few performances and question the club that sold him without looking at his abilities at the previous club. Ferran Torres has been in Barcelona for how many years and yet every year is just listed among potentials and not the finish player yet and this to me warrant a sale, so no matter what they do it was a good decision to offload him. The only place where it will be a mistake will be when Barcelona fails to sign the right striker. As for PSG, this simply just fatigue that is affecting the players an nothing more and personally I think they would still win the league by the end of the season because the squad it self is wide ahead of any Ligue 1 players
