I don't know what's going on with City, but they are not their usual self this season, they are conceding too many goals, too slow in attack and they don't finish teams off. The gap between City and their fellow title contenders continues to get wider and even if we know City can go on long winning runs, it might not be the case this season, before Pep and his City side return from the World club cup, they might be many points off the top of the table. Pep has to fix this and very quickly as well if they are going to win their fourth EPL title in a row.

There are several factors why Man City is experiencing inconsistency or in other words difficulty in getting maximum points, most recently they drew against Crystal Palace. I think partly because of the injuries to Halaand, De Bruyne and Stones, without these three players Pep Guardiola will be a little confused when it comes to maintaining the team performance. Of course Pep will fix this problem as soon as possible, because losing any more points will result in reduced chances of retaining the EPL trophy at the end of the season.

It does seem confusing to understand why Man City is experiencing such a decline in performance as it is currently. I think Pep squad is experiencing a decrease in hunger for the championship trophy, because it has achieved a level of success that is so proud like last season, namely winning the treble winners. I can't imagine if this match ends in a draw because I watch how Liverpool play 34 shots and 8 on target Liverpool really controlled the match from all sides but unfortunately luck was not on their side. With this draw, Liverpool will drop to 2nd place while Arsenal took over the standings after beating Brighton a few hours ago, it's a shame that Liverpool wasted this opportunity. Matches in the Premier League are really difficult to predict when we think the match will end easily but the final result is not like expectations lol. I thought Liverpool would be at the top of the standings for a long time because previously Arsenal lost but in fact Liverpool only lasted less than 2 weeks this indicates that the competition in the Premier League is very competitive.


By the way, it's nice to see Aston Villa managed to win the match even though they conceded first and this win will strengthen Aston Villa's position in the top 4, we know they are not targeting the title, but getting a Champions League ticket is an extraordinary achievement, can they be there until the end of the season? I said it on my previous comment here during the half time, that the match may likely end in a draw, and that was exactly what happened, And I quite agree with you though, based on Manchester united current performance in the Premier league this season, alot of people expected the match to be an easy win for Liverpool, since like I discussed on my previous comment, that Liverpool may be fighting to take the first position in the EPL standing, but unfortunately for them, they failed to break through Manchester united's defense, as we saw that Manchester united was majorly playing a defensive game, they probably knew that there was no way they were going to beat Liverpool, and instead of allowing themselves to be beaten by Liverpool, they dragged the match to a draw.

Jurgen Klopp dissapointed and Erik Ten Hag prosper, his defensive strategy do actually works and they have the best defendlines that could label them to be infront against Liverpool. This was because Manchester united was able to bring put their best performance and didn't give Liverpool any chance of scoring them, and so far the game ended in a draw even upon what the referee did in the extra time of the game by giving Dalot a red card so that Liverpool can be able to score a goal with one man down for Manchester united. I think a lot of bad luck was on Liverpool tonight and more specifically on Alexander Arnold which had at least 3 goals opportunities in the second half which he should have at least converted once.Manchester United has done what they needed to do to get at least one point from this game considering that they come after so much bad results recently and this for them can be considered a good result.

Of course the bookies have gone somewhat wrong with the odds,despite Liverpool being the favorite in this game you cannot give to any team 1.30 odds when playing against Manchester United at home no matter who they are just for the history that Manchester United has.

What a shocker. I never expected this game to end like this. If I was given 10 chances to predict the Liverpool vs Manchester United game I would not have gotten close to this outcome. Funny enough I met someone who placed a bet that there would not be up to 2 goals in this game. I didn't take him seriously because I was sure there were going to be at least 3 goals in this match.
Especially with the way the first half went, it was impossible to predict the game would end in a goalless draw at Anfield.

Onana is not a quality goalkeeper to protect this team, I think his performance is very inadequate. This is one of the biggest reasons why Manchester has difficulty in European matches.
Altay Bayındır is a good goalkeeper, but like Onana, I have doubts about how successful he can be in this team. Still, if he was given a chance, it would be good to see him on the field a little, at least Manchester would have tried something different

You people just like to pick on certain players when the whole team is an ass. Onana made about 6 great saves today but it's the mistake he made that made the headline. How long will it take you all to see that when a team is poor, the goalkeeper suffers the most? Liverpool had over 30 goal attempts, and 8 shots on target. What kind of a team would allow that to happen if not a shit team.
