Arsenal started the match very well. They took the lead with Bukayo Saka's goal. But they couldn't score another goal. I think they need to sign a striker if they want to stay in the title race. It is difficult to sign a good footballer in the winter transfer window. But Osimhen could be a good candidate for them. Saka failed to capitalize on some clear goal scoring opportunities in this match. They should sign a player who can compete with him. Otherwise they might have to say goodbye to the league race early this season.

Yeah Arsenal dropped points again today even though they really need points to continue competing with Liverpool, since December Arsenal have lost 3 times and this is their worst record, apart from that Arsenal could also lose the opportunity to win the title because Liverpool will lead with 5 points ahead. I don't understand what Arsenal's main problem? why suddenly their performance worsened during this month of December, could it be that unlucky days come in a row? I can't say anything about Arsenal, they made mistakes like this several seasons ago and this month.

Tottenham just did their homework and won their game against a Bournemouth which was in a great shape having won most of their games recently and only today they were stopped.

Totenham was dominating its opponents and no doubt that it was able scoring three goals unlike arsenal which was losing another three points which is making the club goes down again. We will be seeing the competition from liverpool and manchester city.
I have not seen arsenal potentially to be a competitor for manchester city and liverpool. City is now surpassing arsenal and it has the same points like the gunner. It surprises me how aston villa and arsenal were bottling it.

Tottenham keep showing good performances with their regular starters back in the team. This shows that their squad depth isnt good enough with some bad results when their key players absent. Arsenal performance is dropping lately, and they haven’t been able to win any match in there last 3 matches played, they  had draw which was against Liverpool and they lose to west ham and Fulham, decrease in there performance is just kind of surprising, actually people have predicted it that what happened to Arsenal last season will repeat itself this season, but i think it’s too early to say that, actually there is already a sign, because I never expected Arsenal to lose to Fulham, let’s see how Arsenal will perform in there next match, if they can’t secure a win in there next match, then I think Arsenal might be out of the premier league fight.

In the two matches that have been played, of course Arsenal played well because they were able to dominate possession of the ball, but they had difficulty securing victory. Even in today match Arsenal were able to score an early goal but they were inconsistent in the second half which allowed Fulham to turn things around to 2-1 at the end of the match. Even in this match, Arteta made slight changes to his line-up where Gabriel Jesus was not played from the start, but still they did not manage to beat Fulham.

Nketiah was able to shoot 2 shots but none of them were on target and I think they were weak in the last two matches in their attack line. Only Saka performed well and I think Saka just needs more suitable partners for the second half of this season. I think Arteta must understand this situation as well as possible because they need a striker like Haaland who is hungry for goals in every game.

That is right, but when you check the statistics of the game, obviously Luton Town wasn't significantly worse than Chelsea, but they have been less efficient with their chances and that made the difference for the first 80 minutes of the game. However, once Luton was able to score their first goal, it was once again the same Chelsea as we have got to know it in the last weeks. They don't have the quality to bring that win home safely without any danger. It was close in the end and giving away a lead of three goals would have been catastrophic.

For the first half I actually didn't see a big difference from Luton because Chelsea tried to be better at dictating the game but for the second half there was a slight difference because Luton really played freely and without burden in front of their own supporters because they played home which made them want more results than having to lose quite heavily.
On the other hand, Chelsea made a little mistake with their caution especially at the crucial time which did make a little worry for me as a spectator

The result is quite good Chelaea closed the half season with 2 consecutive wins for them and we just have to see if Pochettino can maintain this momentum in the current conditions that the EPL will break for 2 weeks because it could be a pause like this is beneficial or it will be detrimental to Chelsea because their momentum is a little lost in the end.

But that's the problem I think for Chelsea and Pochettino. The club bosses finally want to see Chelsea win games with ease again when they play against opponents from the bottom of the table. A 3-0 would have been alright, but making it risky in the end and allowing Luton Town to get back into the game and get their chances to equalize the game was bad. Chelsea is not a world class team that knows how to play this smart.

Indeed, it is very unfortunate, because Arsenal have lost again to middle-class clubs in a row. Yesterday's 2 - 1 defeat against Fulham was disappointing again, after their previous defeat. West Ham United will be without Kudus, Fulham without Alex Iwobi and also Calvin Bassey.
Manchester United will be without Onana. I feel like it's time to drop Onana anyways. He's conceded fifty goals since joining Manchester United.

The management needs to kick ten hag out of the club. It's a subject that people mock and joke about. it has been shocking for people to see how MU was bottling it anytime. If arsenal wants to win the english league. when meeting small teams, never lose points, you must be able to take full points 3 points. the fact is that against a weak team, fulham even lost.
So to compete for the championship, Arsenal is clearly outclassed compared to Manchester City or Liverpool.

Honestly this time Arsenal really made the fans most likely to lose faith, consecutive defeats against teams that are much weaker than them are very bad results for a team like Arsenal who have always been favored in several seasons, honestly for me personally this is an unexpected result, I thought before they would be able to comeback by trying hard to get the full three points in this match to restore the confidence of the fans and also to maintain the prestige of the club after losing to West Ham 2 - 0 but apparently my assumptions and predictions were wrong.

Yes at the start of the first half especially in the 5th minute Arsenal managed to take the lead through a goal from Bukayo Saka, the lead at the start of the match made us cheer and enough to increase confidence that Arteta would not waste this match to catch Manchester City in third place along with staying away from Tottenham's pursuit, but yes as you said it's a shame that Arsenal couldn't catch up at all in the second half, for the problem of possession I honestly saw them pretty good but yes their main problem is on the blunt front line so of course it's hard to take advantage of every opportunity.

Newcastle United on bad performance currently without winning last two matches and their position more far away from top fourth standings. Actually must be easily for Liverpool get three points against Newcastle United and make comfortable first standings position behind three points left from current 2nd standings placed by Aston Villa both team have the same points awhile. Not only have three points left from Aston Villa but also Liverpool first standings placed not secure yet from Manchester City if loss against Newcastle United.

on paper Liverpool has the advantage of being able to get 3 points in their home match. however I also like Fulham match against Arsenal that every Premier League club this season must be able to control  themselves not to underestimate their opponents. Newcastle is indeed in quite a doubtful condition but it is the same as when Fulham is also highly regarded. but in the end the bottom team was able to make Arsenal unable to move. for this reason in the Liverpool vs Newcastle match, the home team must still be able to focus and not reduce the intensity of their attacks. take advantage of this match by stepping on the gas from the start of the first half. for Newcastle game it was not effective at Anfield and for Newcastle in this match even though they were playing at their opponent's home ground they did their best to make it difficult for Liverpool to score goals. Newcastle also need points because the last 2 matches have been very bad. when facing a big team Newcastle can  adapt to the opponent's game and possibly maximize what they can do.

Tottenham prepared fairly strong squad and they managed to win decisively over Bournemouth with score of 3 - 1 and of course Richarlison showed his talent as reliable goal scorer for Tottenham.

 It wasn't just that they lost that was the problem, it was the fact that the goal came in early, giving fans hope that the first half would see them netting at least two more goals but that wasn't to be gotten because they let the confidence that they were good at winning whenever they were visitors take front row and let them lose their composure. Fulham is not a very wonderful club that should give a team like them headache but Arsenal is a team that knows how to get beaten by teams other club will literally chew.
 Two straight losses in a row and another reason to doubt they are ready for the title race and honestly I don't know what can be done by Arteta to turn the club back on the winning road because at this pace, they could easily get dropped to 5th spot if care's not taken.
