Chelsea have a home match against Southampton this Saturday. After losing to Manchester City by 1-0, they lost to Juventus in the Champions League by the same score also. They don't concede many goals but they are having a difficulty in scoring even one also for two matches. This must be a sign for them to get better at scoring from now on. The Southampton match is a good opportunity for this. But Chelsea couldn't defeat them in their home matches three times in a row. It will be a chance for getting rid of this bad luck against them also.

Totally depending on Romelu Lukaku last night, Southampton can be very roughly hard to crack, having no Mason mount to create something upfront for Lukaku,maybe bringing in wingers to break Southampton down, although same tactics was used by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City team, having no shot on target at the end of the day.

I'm not certain, but I'm predicting Chelsea to loss this one if don't take good use of them Chance's.
Goals will be scares in this match and Southampton.

Exactly man,Manchester United's coach Ole will not let Christiano Ronaldo take a penalty because he is new,and because he trusts and believes in Fernandes.Anybody can miss penalty,Fernandes is a great player that commands and demands respect.He is unarguably the best player in that team.I am sure Ole trusts him and will still give him that opportunity again to perform well,and that will be the best thing he will do as a manager.

It's funny that despite Liverpool's excellent performance and City's much less confident play, City is considered the favorite in the upcoming match:

It looks like an unbalanced odds and maybe a Liverpool bet is a good bet in this situation.
As for the United - Everton match, despite the fact that the teams have the same number of points, United looks like a clear favorite.

Mostly these odds are done by their own statics and their own expert's opinion just because of this we don't need to agree with them for Liverpool vs Manchester City I am also feeling very good for Liverpool after their last match against Porto they are in very good form, and they have ability to beat Manchester City at home. Even after City win against Chelsea give them some good positive turning point, and they are high in confidence but still it's very good match from these two quality teams those are fighting hard for this year's title race.

Manchester United vs Everton it's also very entertaining match and any team can win but book makers feeling Manchester United is hot favorite, but it's still very tough game from these two quality teams.

I think the answer to these odds is in the public's mood. Even in the poll which in this thread shows that the majority thinks that City will become the champion this season, and much fewer people rely on Liverpool. I think the bets on these teams are distributed in approximately the same way, so the bookmakers insure themselves against a bad outcome and balance the accepted bets so as to guarantee themselves a profit in any outcome. Thus, in my opinion, this is a typical case of curved odds.

Sancho has come from Bundesliga and Pl is very fast. IMO Ole is playing him in right position but he needs time to get adapted to the play speed in PL.

United's attack is good, it is defense which takes them back to square one. The mistake they do behind at the pitch gives opponents some good chances to score. Take Villa game for example where they gave away Villa so many chances to score. Yesterday also they were quite open against Villareal. Its the same story over and over again.

Manchester United - Everton game could be one of the amazing games of the week this weekend. Manchester United got a shocking 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa even though they dominated the whole game. It was a big disappointment for the team and the fans. They want to atone for this loss by defeating Everton in Old Trafford. On the other hand, Everton are having a really decent season so far. And it won't be easy to win against them seemingly. But I still see Manchester United closer to a victory and it would be by one goal.

If they lose this match, it will be clear that they just leak the coach... You could really see that from the last game. It was a really weird incident. I agree with you on it. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best free-kick takers in history. And it would be a very special moment for him to take the free-kick then. But Bruno Fernandes interestingly insisted on taking it. And he took a terrible shot which was not even related to the goal of the opponent. We all know what the great Alex Ferguson said that Attack wins matches but Defense wins titles. So yes they do have a goal machine but they also need to be structured in the defense. They have deadly attacking options with CR7 and Cavani provided by Bruno and Pogba from the midfield, but maybe they are too much reliant on Cr7 which is not a good idea. Because he is aging right? Man utd has enough options and depth n the squad it's up to Ole Solskjaer to rest some of the keys players against Everton, in midfield he has Mctominay, Van De Beek, Pereira and Matic with other main squad substitute these players should be able to beat Everton, else Ole continues playing the same sets of players week in week out can lead to injury to some of the players, I believe Ole sticking with those same sets of players is because he wouldn't want to gamble with other non regular players, of course he has no option than to take a risk and play them to avoid consequence of injuries to the regular players.

N'Golo Kante, Mason Mount and Pulisic are very important players for Chelsea and they are all still absent. Maybe this was one of the biggest reasons why they were really bad at ending their dangerous attacks with a goal. Especially Mount is a very crucial player for Chelsea as for their offensive side. And Kante is a big loss in the midfield. Because when he plays, Chelsea midfield is much stronger and reassuring.

I would assume that the best thing for United could have been facing Villareal right now. They faced last year and Villareal came out at top, so United would be feeling furious about last year. So I am assuming that they would be playing a lot harder this time around, it would probably be something like a revenge for what happened last year and I could see United beating them with a big point difference. Obviously it is going to be not that easy and I would assume that it would be a lot easier if it was simply just United at full strength as well but they seem a little tired lately, however it is still looking a lot better for them.

I think 1.5+ goal difference and a win for United seems like a good bet, not guaranteed of course, they could still end up losing, or in that case even if they win by 1 goals the bet would be a loss, but I believe revenge would be a good reason to play hard.

Liverpool v Manchester City can be one of the most exciting games of the weekend. To be honest, I really like both of them in the last weeks. Liverpool are the current leader but this might change after this weekend. Manchester City showed a really great effort against Chelsea and proved how much strong they are when they want to be. Looking forward to this game both teams are strong but liverpool need to be carefull not to stay in defense and begin the game trying to score they really have a strong attack with salah at top form and city with defensive difficulties especially after the match against psg but we will see an interesting game i think both teams will score.

However their recent form is not very bright. They are barely able to win matches lately. And this can continue against Everton also. So I guess Everton won't lose very easily. That's right, if you saw them perform at UCL. They are very bad, especially on the right side. Seen the first 20 minutes there were 2 kicks on goal. But De Gea was able to brush it off. It looks like their distance is too wide, they are easy for Villareal players to pass. I miss when there was Ferdinand, Vidic, evra and Gary Nevile. They are very strong, at the moment I think they are the best defensive combination I have known Manchester United.

It's not good enough and Ole relies on players moment to get goals and points. He is not able to prepare a few tactics for United to find goals. He is not flexible with player choice and tactic changes. The appearance of Ronaldo will make United rely on him and Ole will become less flexible with his substitutions with attacking system.

I agree about the defense of United that need to be improved. Wan Bisaka and Luke Shaw don't make me feel safely. Maguire so far has not had good performance as the last season.

That penalty has nothing to do with trust, Fernandes is a good player, as is Christiano Ronaldo, and I am certain that Ole trusts both of them.
Ole made the best decision by making Fernandes take that PK, that's what any wise man would have done. You wouldn't expect C. Ronaldo as one of the greatest players of all time, to make others feel bad because he was welcomed to the club. Things have to be done the way they are because, the existing players would believe Ole was taking sides.
Despite doing the right thing, Fernandes lost the PK.

Seriously though, I'm not hugely impressed by United and the purchase of Ronaldo doesn't address their flaws, it just masks them. He's a great player and gives them an added dimension, just not in the way they need.
I don't see them as title contenders this season, but I'd say they're still (a bit) better than Everton.

I actually believe Everton are much stronger than Villareal (taking into account current squad and Rafa Benitez now as their tactical mastermind). Ole is very poor at tactics so if his men can't perform in the first half, then Everton will punish them.

Odds make it not worth to bet on United too unless the bookies update the numbers in a day
