So far, Graham Potter has led Chelsea to a change for the better although he still has a lot to correct. especially when Chelsea are up against big teams, like against Manchester United and Arsenal. it won't be easy for Potter, after all he is a new coach who needs time to maximize his squad's performance. he still needs a strategy test, player rotation, and we have seen that in his early games with Chelsea. early on when he was appointed to replace Tomas Tuchel, Potter said. he, had to bring Chelsea to finish in the top four of the premier league. if not, maybe his career with Chelsea ends until this season only.

So, Potter still has time to maximize and fix the weaknesses of the strategy he applies and maximize the potential of his players.

Chelsea have high hopes for the figure of Graham Potter after going through a difficult period with Tuchel. Despite getting two draws and two defeats in the last four matches, Chelsea are still able to provide competition for the top four positions.
Chelsea are only six points away from Newcastle who are in third place and five points from Tottenham who are sitting in fourth. Chelsea still have a chance to reduce the gap because Newcastle and Tottenham have played 14 games while Chelsea have only passed 13 games.

Potter has to shape Chelsea to give his best after two consecutive defeats to Brighton and Arsenal, Chelsea must improve their rankings to get into the top four. Potter has better players in the Chelsea squad, should make his job easier than when he was at Brighton. Improvements and set the right strategy into work that must be done immediately Potter if you want to bring Chelsea out of disappointing results.

I completely disagree with you, Tuchel won the CL with Chelsea because he had a working strategy/philosophy, and not because of anything else, Frank Lampard didn't last long enough for you to claim he built a team that Tuchel then used in winning the trophy, when a manager wins a trophy for a club, even after just joining the team, that trophy is won out of his hardwork and imo has nothing to do with the previous manager.

Having said that, Tuchel is a better manager than Potter in every aspect, Chelsea played better football under Tuchel than they are doing now, the way i see it i believe that Potter is more of a small club manager rather than a big team like Chelsea. You can agree with me that there was no need to fire Tuchel, it was only because the new hierarchy at the club wanted to establish their authority, well i don't think time will benefit Potter, and in a year or so we could start seeing Chelsea fans asking for Potter to be sacked.

Chelsea's weakness is not the only defense. The condition of their entire teams is now unstable. They are not playing well. Manchester City scored 39 goals in 13 matches, and Haaland probably scored 18 goals in 12 matches. On the other hand, Chelsea players scored only 17 goals in 13 matches. The performance of Chelsea's forward players is poor. They need more talented strikers. And it is crucial for the strikers to perform well if they want to stay on top of the Premier League table. Basically when Tuchel was suddenly sacked Chelsea's situation had indeed deteriorated and as such, Chelsea could not put their hope in Potter as the new coach to provide immediate changes to the team.
At least it still takes time for Potter to be able to make Chelsea to his best form, there are still many processes that must be passed as players who are Potter's own choice and not continuing from the team built by Tuchel.

Therefore, this season Chelsea's chance to end the season in the top four is indeed difficult because Newcastle are in their best form this season.
So there is no longer a place for Chelsea and Liverpool in the top four this season, because these two teams this season are like in a team reshuffle which of course, will lose to compete with other top teams who already have their best form this season.

It looks like not much thing has changed since the previous season for Everton. They are still in a big trouble and they seem to be one of the candidates to relegate from the league. Lampard barely saved the team from relegating in the previous season. I'm sure that he doesn't want to experience the same thing but this performance is carrying them there again.

They have lost some important players like Richarlison as well and this has weaken them even more. They have an away game against Bournemouth this week and Bournemouth are also not much different from them. Everton have never beaten them in an away game in EPL games so far. Let's see if they will do this for the first time.

I don't hold it against you because just as you're thinking so is other non fans thinking and not giving Frank lampard the credit that he deserves. Frank came into the club when the club was under strick penalties that demanded they don't sign any player. Frank introduced the fans to the academy players and both the ones he brought into the team and those already playing got the best playing time of their career and developed into what we see today. The likes of Mount, Reece James, Chalobah, Tomori, Abraham, etc all played brilliantly under Frank until the unlucky period came that his inexperienced caused us.

Thomas Tuchel came in with his experience and used this players to win us the champions league but it got into his head and started sending our youngster away and benching those he couldn't sell. Why should a coach looking for a striker sell Abraham and cost of millions of euros to resign Lakaka sorry Lukaku. Thomas Tuchel didn't have trust in our youngsters that won him the title and that's one of the problem he had with fans. Again why go waste millions to buy Fofana when you have a player like Chalobah warning the bench?.

It is surely a bad thing for coaches to be stressed with their club or team, I really think that Chelsea's previous coaches understand each other, they keep blaming the coaches even if the real problem doesn't really ie in the coach but some cases the players or the staff members aswell, they all keep lambast their coaches like that and if this continues there will be no one that would like to coach for them anymore,

Obviously this is still difficult because basically everything must require a process but for Potter's case he is required to immediately be able to play well and of course this is very difficult to do especially in this case he can be said to have minimal experience for a big club.
I'm not going to blame Potter for now although there are some things that Chelsea are lacking but it's a bit difficult at the moment with a few injured players.

Because they couldn't achieve all of their transfer targets in the previous transfer window. But even with the current squad, they are doing a wonderful work. Yes, no one expected Newcastle to play so well this season, in fact they only lost 1 time with Arsenal and Manchester City, while other teams suffered at least 4 defeats, even though they got a draw with 6 records. But of course this is something very good for them because they are able to compete in the 3rd position of the standings. Chelsea must be wary of Newcastle this week because they could be the next victim that must be conquered by Newcastle. 4 times without a win must be ended by Chelsea to re-lift their morale.

I think, Chelsea president need to bring in a new talented coach that can handle Chelsea players very well in a way they will start performing well like Manchester city in this season. Chelsea has missed many opportunities in this season, because their formal coach was trying to move the team higher with some new strategies he brought to introduce to the team before he got a sacked letter.

Thomas Tuchel wasn't doing anything positive, you can't get the kind of money that was handed over to him and this was the best he could bring to the squad. There's little or no improvement from what we had in the last season before Chelsea was sold to the new boss. Thomas Tuchel was just surviving on the team that frank lampard built and that's the team that won us the champions league. When it was his turn, look at those he brought in, how do someone buy Fofana when we have Chalobah.

We just have to give Potter sometime, he's a very young manager and if you follow his career and previous clubs he coached, they didn't just start playing well as the clubs are known for under his management. It took sometime before the players adapted to his style of play. Potter needs at least one transfer window to get Chelsea in shape. For now we just have to secure a champion league spot for next season and shouldn't be over expecting this season.

I am still curious on how he takes on the most dangerous side in the premier league I am sure they are not using the full set of players for this game but he will not use a week squad against Manchester City. Same players bought by Thomas Tuchel will be used by Graham Potter to win a trophy but not a big one. He is a small manager until he wins a big trophy with Chelsea. Wrong to bring Fofana and aged Aubameyang by Thomas Tuchel but Fofana will adapt, Aubameyang will surely leave

I even doubt for Fulham's victory even though the match will be played at home to Fulham, because from the previous match and also last season's match I saw Fulham never won against Manchester United. And Erik Ten Hag himself I don't think has ever seen every game in the Premier League as trivial for him even with a team that has looked weak this season.

Before the injury of some of Chelsea's players (James, Kante, Fofana, Chiwell) Chelsea's defence and midfield were quite okay and weren't easy to penetrate. Once these players get back to their feet again, Chelsea will perform better in attack and defence. What Chelsea needs at present is a good striker that will replace Sterling and Aubameyang. If Chelsea could get a good strike by January transfer window, they will go back to their old winning ways

Newcastle are now the favorites in betting circles for their continued victories to reach 3rd place in the EPL, bookies give Chelsea a big chance as away odds 3.10 on the other hand Newcastle are close to their win at home this is very interesting for them choose a bet.

I'm also not going to underestimate Chelsea even though they are still having a bad time in the EPL for 4 weeks and facing Newcastle is a difficult game of course for Chelsea anyway they have to come back from defeat because Potter has a tough task this week before the temporary EPL close although I'm not sure it can be as easy as imagined with Newcastle but I think Chelsea's motivation must be more than that if they lose of course they will be left behind again. Potter must be able to show in the Premier League to be able to win again.

One thing coach fails to understand is that it's not an easy job to manage team like Chelsea and not all coach can fit in the shoes of manager. Chelsea have sack good managers in the past, like Jose Mourinho, Anthonio Conte, Sarri, Frank Lampard, Thomas Tuchel and now is Graham Potter. When you're no longer performing your duty as a coach, the fans will start booeing on the pitch and the owner will give you specific time to fix your job. That's exactly what's going on in Chelsea.

Remove Lampard from the list of good coaches, Lampard is not a good coach. A good player does not mean a good coach.
Lampard blew his chances in Chelsea when  he spent big money without results. Gradually he is sending Everton to relegation and he will continue to be praised.
Lamaprd is not a good coach.

For Graham Potter, he don't have defence. The likes of Fofana and Koulibaly are not available. Even in his midfield good players are missing. When he has a better squad he will do well.

Agree with what you say because indeed if you look at Lampard's condition from the coaching side, this is actually still very lacking for a competition as big as the Premier League.

Arsenal's current performance is indeed very good, but to finish in 1st I think it is far from expectations. Because Manchester City's points continue to be close to Arsenal.
