Many teams needed the world cup break so bad, the break comes as a time out for underperforming teams to take some time to evaluate their performances so far, assess their progress and work on finding solutions to their flaws and loop holes in the team, even the top performing teams get some time to restrategice and improve their game even more and  get players not going to the world cup. I think this break is really good for everyone one way or the other.

Aside from the World Cup break, perhaps the downside is that if players don't hone their skills during that time and just sit idly by, it's much more harmful to their performance. Moreover, the World Cup break must be used to consistently develop skills on the field. For example, Haaland did not participate in the World Cup because his country failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals, in Qatar. This means that to maintain their fitness balance, they must still have a solid workout. Then Crystal Palace winger Zaha, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Zlatan Ibrahimovich (Sweden), Aubameyang (Gabon), Luis Diaz (Colombia), Odegaard (Norway), and many more.

The competition indeed has been stoppage because of world cup but don't mean those clubs will rested too and some of managers has realized this situations that some of big teams on Premier League such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United will have several schedules for friendly matches so their managers will utilized those matches to evaluate the weakness of teams each and to maintain teams performance and besides that these matches also can be utilized for the players who didn't defend their national team to maintain their fitness balance so basically there is no wasted time although European league will had a long break

Arsenal indeed have a really interesting fixture in January. They are going to play against Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United respectively in three weeks. Playing two of these games home is still an advantage for them of course. But it is the truth that these games are all really challenging ones. They have got only one loss so far and that was against Manchester United away. Maybe it will be revenge time for Arsenal also. I wonder if Arsenal will get any loss after leaving these games behind.

The most probable team that can do this to Arsenal seems like Newcastle honestly. They are also on a huge streak and they are one of the most impressive teams. Tottenham are going to have a home game against Arsenal so I see them as the second most likely team for making it. I'm putting Manchester United to the last place in this list despite beating Arsenal before. Because they seem the most problematic team among those ones for now.

Arsenal is out of the League Cup, so they can't win that anymore. In the Europa League they are on first place in their group and in February they will continue with the knockout games. Manchester City must play in the League Cup on 20.12. against Liverpool and they are also still in the Champions League, they must play in February against RB Leipzig. This will be a transitional time especially for Liverpool because with this of course even though they don't really want to admit it they still benefit.
At least with this Klopp can also arrange what scheme they should consider later and now one month off is even more clearly profitable.
They can start something new now so that later after the season reopens they won't be too surprised when they see some good talent at the world cup later in preparation for player transfers.

Yes that's what makes it different and difficult to predict from other leagues yeah the spanish league can also be difficult to make predictions too. I want another club to take the premier league. It will make it a complete three seasons man City will be crowned champions of the premier league so see that would be boring. It seems interesting enough to be a small bet. Currently Haaland is still strong with 18 goals followed by Kane 12 goals, while Toney the Brentford player makes 10 goals. Of course there is still a chance for Kane to make more goals, there are still 23 Matches to go.

I will be wondering about Liverpool's performance after the returnal of the World Cup.

They couldn't even win the half of the matches they have played in the league so far - 6 wins. Actually their productivity is not too bad now. It is like they have scored two goals in each match. But the main problem has mostly been related to their defense line. We have witnessed even van Dijk playing poorly for some time. Of course every solid player has bad times but this wasn't the right time for that truthfully. Because it was the time Liverpool needed him playing strongly the most.

But on the other hand things have started to get better for them taking the last two match weeks into account. Especially a win against a big team like Tottenham has given them a good boost. Klopp will hope for not seeing important injuries from now on to be able to keep up the good work.

I think Kloop and Liverpol today had some problems that he had to think about during the world cup then find a solution. If I look at them at the moment they have some problems
1. The loss of intensity of play, they do not have the zeal to run.
2. Senior Players perform below their best qualities.
3. Weak front line. It can be seen that mane's departure made a considerable impact. Perhaps Kloop should immediately look for a replacement in the winter.

The list will undoubtedly change, but Haaland will remain at the top. There are a number of very good players who are just not in the season of scoring goals right now; players like Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal and Ivan Toney may overtake the likes of Harry Kane.

I am not sure why England did not call Ivan Toney for the World Cup despite him being one of the top scorers in the Premier League this season. He is a strong player who can play very well and is always hungry for goals. I believe he will help England in the World Cup. What are your opinions?

Don't hate mate, there's nothing wrong with Manchester city winning the league again, if other clubs wants to stop them then they should up their game just as how Arsenal has done after many years of building their team. Besides Manchester city retaining the title doesn't make our league a farmers league. They'll surely have a strong contenders when the season resumes. Their players will be playing in the world cup while Arsenal has less players playing in the competition which will give them some rest to attack fully for a shot at the title.

Manchester city made the premier league more competitive as they made other clubs invest in their team and we're begining to see the good in doing that. If Arsenal had not invested they wouldn't have had the squad they do now. Liverpool is just having a bad season and they'll surely bounce back from that because they have quality players.

Klopp has to think about that solution during the league break this problem has to be solved soon so that when the league starts players start back at their best productivity maybe every team does this but Liverpool are still below average for their games with yesterday's win I expect this will continues.

For the front line, it has decreased a little after Sadio Mane was left with the addition of several injured strikers. This makes the front line weak, if this is still not a solution, then the best step is to find a replacement as an addition to be even stronger in attack, but there are no rumors about Klopp will bring players.

It's hard to imagine Manchester City losing this season because I don't think 5 points below Arsenal will be too difficult to overcome. Arsenal are good because of their improvement, but they must not let their guard down if they want to lead the table and win the title at the end of the season. Half of the season and transfers later Klopp must do his best to bring them back to their position although slowly they are now in the top 6 but the problem of inconsistency is still happening to them and this must be ended immediately in order to provide real opportunities and competitiveness like last season they showed.

If you say they can't be monotonous, I think it can happen to any team. It didn't matter how good they were, but if their strategy could be read by the opponent then they would be in trouble. I clearly say here that they must have variety in attack, to make their game more varied and difficult to anticipate opponents and that is something that every team should have, not just them.

Things are not going to be easy for Arsenal, they still have some tough matches ahead of them, I think up to 24 games which is still a long way to go and a lot can happen in the next 24 games, they just have to stay focused and determined one game at a time. Arsenal still need to make additions to the squad to boost their strength and options in different positions.

Especially in this case there are still several big matches that they haven't played yet and one of them is Manchester City which should have been done but they postponed this match.
I think even if they are the seeded now it will still be a bit more difficult because basically pressing from the bottom is better than defending the position they are in right now.

It may not be right if Liverpool only need to improve their midfielders during the transfer market, but it is true that Liverpool need to put their main focus on improving their current midfielders. Their striker is still very good, but seems to lose form in many match. I don't know, maybe because they feel they have lost Mane this season or for some other reason.

Darwin Nunez hasn't been as expected this time. He needs to work hard to understand Liverpool's strategy so he understands what his coach expects. The language barrier reportedly made it difficult to understand strategy, but this may not be the main problem. His adaptation wasn't great, so he really had to work hard to live up to everyone's expectations.

Haaland is a real beast. Before he moved to Manchester City and already the first scorer of the championship and with such a gap. If he does not get injured, he will be the best by the end of the season.
Even Kane was lost against Haaland and Kane still is a great player.

Once again, here's to Rodrigo Machado. Glad he didn't get lost in Lids, he played well at sevilla before that.
