What a great match we saw, a match we never expected. Basically I mean Manchester City to lose. Manchester City dominated the entire game. But we expected Manchester City to win this match. Unfortunately, the opposition managed to defeat Manchester City with a goal in the last minute of extra time.

Not every day is a lucky day and even though I hard strong faith in Manchester City winning the match today and the end up losing with a 1-goal difference which makes the match to end 2 goals to 1 and Manchester losing the game but I know in their next match Manchester city will recover from this unexpected defeat after the club has topped the league table for a while.

The outcome of today's match may not lower Manchester City's position on the table but then a lot has changed in their overall performance and statistics based on the result of today's match.

Definitely unexpected result, I wouldn't say that it is a terrible tragedy or something for them, they are a great team and still not too far off Arsenal and there is like maybe 20+ more games to go right? It means you can not only pass anyone above you, but could make like 10+ point difference on top of that as well, just be calm about it.

At the end of the day, football is something that will take a bit of time before it reveals how the season will go, and we have seen which teams are good and which teams are bad, but we need a bit more time (about march if you ask me) before we know for sure who will win it, and just start to see that shaping out.

Yes this is what I expected from Liverpool who got back to winning ways after beating Southampton 3-1. Darwin Nunez became the winner with 2 goals he created. But I'm not going to compliment him in this game, because I needed so much more from this player. Yes, I have placed a lot of trust in him at the start of the season, but he has not been able to repay that trust with the impressive game I expected. Now to be honest my confidence is a bit lost, but I still hope that he will prove his true quality and answer all the doubts that have been placed on him after failing to live up to the expectations of many people.
Yes, hopefully this victory can be the turning point for Liverpool's return to their best game.

damn City, they made me lose my multibet bet, this was a game that even the odd of @16 in case city wins was so low that I thought: "City will win without difficulties" then it goes out a little and when I arrive I see city losing and I thought: " what's going on?", I stopped watching the game, then City drew and then I decided to watch the game, it was a big mistake I made, when I thought that at least I could cancel bets I changed my mind and I was hoping again that city could score the equalizer, but when did I see brentford score the second goal? oh shit i couldn't believe brentford scored.

Like you, I was surprised by Manchester City's defeat. I honestly couldn't believe they would lose like that. Manchester City had played well at the start of the tournament, but now their performance has suffered a lot, one example of which is today's defeat.

Out of 8 away matches played so far, Brentford drew 4 and lost 3, no match won. Nobody see this coming, gambling sites would have seen lots of money lost from customers today because almost everyone will go for Manchester City with lower odds. Manchester City disappointed us all but such can happen in football. This is just a chance given to Arsenal to have more points, but anything can still happen. As for Arsenal today, I highly hope the club would win Wolverhampton Wanderers, it won't be a surprise.

I was really shocked to see that Manchester City lost to Brentford in a home game. It was normally a comfortable one for them. Their performance was also decent actually. They kept the game under control when it comes to ball possession and they had so many goal attempts like 29. But scoring only one goal shows how poor day they had.

Haaland couldn't score this time. If he had a good day then maybe the team would be able to win this game. The team are really dependent on his productivity now. It is normal of course as he is their striker. But the other attackers should be able to do better when Haaland isn't able to do much.

City doesn't seem to be as consistent as in past seasons. They've actually lost way too many points at this point. A home defeat to Brentford is really unthinkable for this team, isn't it? The only explanation I could come up with is that certain players have played with the brakes on, because they definitely don't want to miss the World Cup next week. You don't want to get injured 1 week before the World Cup with the result that you have to wait another 4 years to be able to play again at another World Cup. At Brentford, not many players will be on the roster who have been called up to participate in the World Cup.

With what is happening this weekend I see Arsenal struggling to win this one. Wolves will be in search of a die hard point and with Arsenal eager to step on Man City losing I think they will find it hard.

This will be a little different and Arsenal already know that with the defeat of Mancity beforehand, I'm sure this will be a new motivation for Arsenal to keep winning matches and getting a little away from the second point, namely Man City.

I have a feeling that the antidote for Erling Halaand has been found. His goal ratio has reduced tremendously and I think he is becoming easier to mark right now.
Manchester City this season is weaker than last season I have said this before and every game I see their lapses especially in the defense.

If Manchester city hopes to win the UEFA champions league then they have to play better than this. They are used to the English premier language and have many team scared of them so they has still strong favorites but in the UCL it's very different.

I saw that Man City had a very different way of playing tonight, the build up of the attack was not as usual, it was very automatic, there were no surprises like the previous game, was this because the Man City players were not fit enough or were the Brenford players very disciplined? or the players don't focus because they think about the world cup so they play safe for fear of injury.

Interesting to see Newcastle's performance which was actually slightly better than Chelsea in the first half although indeed some chances were still not on target.
Chelsea seems to be trying a little bit by starting Broja from the start even though if we look at there are still a few strikers there like Auba or Havertz who can be used and also Ziyech.

Tottenham 4:3 Leeds remai the most interesting games so far. Leeds where just good and ahead of the game. At the end of the first half, you could almost predict a doom for Spurs but in the second half, Spurs came after Leeds severally and Leeds wasn't giving them much chance either. So many interesting goals with Rodrigo Bentancur's goal as one of the most interesting and even gave Spurs the lead.

Crystal Palace made such a mess of themselves today. They could have had all in the bag with the efforts of W. Zaha, he won them a penalty, chose to take it and put it off target, really! Good enough Nottingham Forest punished them by scoring the opportunity that opened up.

Newcastle keeping the pressure on until the referee call the game to a pause for halftime, but blues did their possible best to hold down the home team. Hall have been in one of his best form with clear tackles and passes accuracy on the pitch while on the other side, Almiron is hungered for goals in the game with longstaff. Newcastle are a different team now, they are playing better than Chelsea. It can be seen from their current standings which is proof that Newcastle cannot be underestimated by Graham Potter. Actually today I am more favorite to Newcastle the reason is because they are a consistent team and play at home while Chelsea are not consistent at all
We can see bad results in the last 4 games Chelsea they lost 2 times in a row so I consider Chelsea not confident, especially when playing away

You don't have to be surprised anymore because Newcastle United is now a top-class club in the Premier League. It's half-time now the match between them and Chelsea and they were the best side totally. They have a solid defense, a well-coordinated midfield, and a sharp attack. Their players look fit and are playing physical football by ensuring that Chelsea players don't make any meaningful runs.

Chelsea is a complete shadow of itself because they seem very disorganized. Their passes are inaccurate and it seems their defense is shaky. I expect Newcastle to win this match because Chelsea seems like they have nothing to offer in this match.
