The Premier League is now more competitive than ever. Newcastle's performances this season have surprised everyone. This team played well. And so if Chelsea is aiming to win the title then they need a stronger squad and definitely add more talented players to the squad. Coach Poch is quite experienced. But will he be able to stabilize the Chelsea team? Poch will not be successful. He was not successful with PSG. And so I'd say we shouldn't expect too much from Chelsea.

After several seasons of competition in the top four dominated by Manchester City, Liverpool, Man United, Chelsea and Tottenham, the season that has just finished has two clubs that have become new competitors, Arsenal, who after so long did not look impressive and even had almost won the championship but failed and there is the most surprising Newcastle team.
Next season the competition will be even tougher to be in the top four because Chelsea will probably return to its best performance, Man United will continue to try to grow in their game, Liverpool will be incessant in the hunt for new players so they can return to the champions league zone, Newcastle will continue to fight to stay competitive, Arsenal will of course fight again to win the championship and there is Manchester City which is always the favorite including for next season.

There are several players who are actually good enough for Arsenal and are on the sales list right now.

Ilkay Gundogan is getting old now and Kovacic is 3 years younger than him. Also, he has similar characters with Gundogan, so for Manchester City, this means continuing the same tiki-taka football with someone 3 years younger. I'm sure this could be a change Pep wants. Still, in football, I would like team captains to retire in that team. Gundogan can now return to Germany.

I'm more concerned about the deal involving Chelsea players, because despite their poor performance, it's my favorite club in the English Premier League, but allowing the old players who are almost out of contract with the club, Todd Boehly does not have any intention to persuade the players to extend but he remained composed, probably because he has learned the ways of the league.The cityzens are interested in Kovaiç, but more discussions will take place after the big game. Manchester City is more interested in a back-up to the outstanding German. Pep Guardiola admires Mateo Kovaiç of Chelsea, and the Croatian would relish the opportunity to play for the best coach in the English Premier League.

I think it's because the team is no longer interested in the player, so they stay calm when the player is hijacked by another team. Especially now that Chelsea has a new coach, and usually a coach has his own player criteria. This is in line with the strategy he will apply to the game later.
By the way, I haven't seen Chelsea move in the transfer market this summer, they are relaxed like last season.

I would say given the pit they were in last season, it's tremendous achievement for them to make into top 4 at least. They have gone through a lot over the years so they did well. Also you can't expect them to get hands on everything in just a season of rebuilding. It would take a bit more time before they really can be considered as a contender in competitions. This season they actually won EFL when they faced Newcastle in the finals and scored 2 goals.

I would however agree that they still need to work a lot and hopefully ten Haag will cover that in next season.

I love how Newcastle is progressing. They arent wasting a lot of money and are building the team slowly and it works for them. They will need a few big signings to complete their team and if they get 2-3 super players they might go far in the champions league and premier league next season.

Yes, that's right, I also like the progress of Newcastle while building the foundation from the bottom, I'm sure that in the next two years, the competition in England will be dominated by Newcastle. Newcastle must get quality players who are commensurate with price and quality and finances must be healthy and there is no need to wastefully buy players. Newcastle's smart move last season by recruiting Nick Pope and Anthony Gordon and if they continue by recruiting Harvey Barnes, Tyler Adams, Carlos Alcaraz can add to the depth of the squad which makes the game more creative as well as investing in their future.

I don't know what caused Chelsea to experience a decline in performance since the old coach was sacked and replaced with a new Chelsea player's performance did not experience any improvement.

Yeah I would agree on that. They are far to be considered a strong team. They have dropped some easy matches and have been defeated quite heavily at certain times but if you check their matches in this season, they have maintained better consistency. Anyone can proceed City for Gundogan but the question is still not clear where does Gundogan wants to go? City are preparing for contract extension which will be produced before Gundogan after the UCL finals; Barca, PSG and Arsenal are all interested in Gundogan and they will also start talks after UCL finals only. About Kovacic, it does seem that City will be able to get him from Chelsea but it doesn't necessarily means that they are planning for Gundogan replacement. Manchester United were a very weak team at the start of the season. But they have managed to correct their mistakes. And at the end of the season, they are third in the table. It was a very good season for Manchester United. However, Chelsea have played very poorly this season. After the change of coach, their performance has become weaker. Chelsea is the 12th team in the points table. There is no guarantee that they will be able to play well in the next season. I wouldn't say Kovacic is a bad replacement for Gundogan. But I still have my doubts. I have followed up Kovacic right from his Real Madrid days when he was having little playing time. But when he went to Chelsea, his playing time increased But I didn't see his performance increase. That js why I am doubtful about him being able to replace the inform Gundogan.
However, when you are playing with a good team, as a good player, you will have no option than to adapt to the successful way of playing.

Lampard may not be the reason why they weren't bad, but he is certainly not a big help neither and I am expecting him not to be that great neither. This is why it is quite important to realize that he is not going to be helping them all that much neither, that's not how it works at all.

I personally believe that he is going to cause the team to be about the same as this season so they are going to sack him and get someone else. He was just the interim and he is not going to be staying for much longer. However, if by some miracle he stays and he is the manager for next season, I bet that they are not going to do that much better, not saying they will worse, they may do a little bit better, but not all that much, they need to be a lot better than what they did this season and Lampard can't make that happen.

It is already known that Pochettino will take over Chelsea. Lampard will be the co-manager as it seems. But I wouldn't be too harsh with Lampard. he is still a young guy and whether or not he can be a great coach still remains to be seen. Why do you think he will be a bad coach? Most of those newcomers need a good team to advance as a coach as well. There are a couple of examples like Luis Enrique who wouldn't have won the Champions League in 2015 thanks to coaching the Barcelona squad or Zidane winning it thanks to coaching a great Real Madrid squad. Lampard didn't really take control of a team that was in great shape. It was in shambles and he could only try to put the pieces together and save the season. That is why it's not quite fair to judge him just yet. He should also get a fair chance with a team that is functioning at least ok and not be a disaster from the start.

To me, Man U and Chelsea could be arguably compared together, after all, they are rivals, and if you could remember, Man U was facing exactly the same thing Chelsea is facing now years ago and was able to move out of it in about a year ago while they still have a lot of work to do. Chelsea however is in the woods and coaching might not be the major issue now but moving in and out of players to almost completely change the narrative and the orientation/psychology of the dominant ones.

As for Lampard, I don't know why the guy would be ridiculing himself, his contract is only till the end of this season, it's too short for him to even breathe not to talk of making impacts. Lastly, it's not a rumour that Mauricio Pochettino is coming to Chelsea, the guy has signed 2 years contract already and will resume on the 1st of July.

It's likely if the next season gonna be a harder season. Birghton, newcastle or even westham will be playing even better. Im sure the competition to get tickets for UCL will be very strict.

No doubt chelsea will perform better than they did under Pochettino than this season, but making the top four i doubt if they will be able to make it. The premier league will be more challenging and interesting next year than this season, with the of manager they had now and the players clubs are signing it sure evidence that the league will more tougher.
Manchester city will not win the league next season, its between Manchester united and Newcastle, these are potential title contender next year, Arsenal will improve but they won't be a title Challenger. they might win a trophy but the don't have the squad to compete for the title.
