To be able to win a trophy is not easy, I will not respond to that because the journey this season is still very long and anything is possible in the team whether it is a change for the better or vice versa, but what is certain is that if you look at Tottenham's current strength it is possible for them to can compete fiercely in the race for the title.

yeah, they've been spectacular this season and their defeat reminds us that football isn't mathematics but tactics, the match was impressive and both teams really played well, Pochetino is doing a great job, but I believe the god of soccer was on Chelsea's side. Their forward really needs the Nkunku guy to boost it. The league just started, there's still a lot of drama and surprises upfront, but Tottenham has shown great promise this season but I will still be surprised if they win the league, what do I know though, there's no small team in EPL recently, so anything can happen.

The tactic was not playing an important role to determine the result. The tactic was just helping the club to increase its capability to win the game. I thought that if the game would be owned by totenham but i was wrong. I meant i was seeing from the first minute about how totenham was dominating the game while chelsea was consistently defending. The situation for Tottenham became even more unfavorable when a goal was scored as a result of a deflecting ball. On top of that, the referee's decision to disallow approximately 4 goals added to the chaotic nature of the match.

People never predict that if totenham would be losing 2 players easily due to the serious fouls being made by romero and udogie. Im also getting surprised that totenham was losing its control during the second half. I know that if ange was also telling his team to use off side trap against chelsea but it was not working. Chelsea could have also many chances to score but all being wasteful caused by the players being so selfish at some moments.

Glad to see that how jackson was adding more goal into the chelsea. It was making the blues won the game with 4-1 as the last results. Im 100% sure that if people never expect the dramatic game between chelsea vs totenham.

The two Tottenham players who received red cards were indeed very profitable for Chelsea so they managed to win the match, but regardless of what happened, the most important thing was the final result of the match, overall Chelsea's game was also better in this match and they were able to take advantage of mistakes. mistakes made by Tottenham.
For the next match, Chelsea will face Man City, maybe the positive results they got when facing Tottenham will be a big motivation for them to be able to do the same.

Tottenham Hotspur defeat was coincidence preached by their supporters but I'm a Chelsea fan and I can boldly say the Blues would have still won without these red cards. I'm aware how vulnerable Spurs can be when they concede a goal, before the Red card, the game was already balance and Chelsea have also scored few goals which was ruled for offside. That actions and goals been ruled out by VAR persuaded the blues to mount more pressure which ended in good results. Consequently, the Red cards were deserved and also the penalty awarded was valid, so Spurs fans should stop the procrastination and look forward to forthcoming games.

I agree,it was Chelsea performance more than anything else and although I am not a Chelsea fan I love the way Pochettino trains,it is showing the results gradually,I am pretty confident that in the end of the season we will see Chelsea as a minimum in an European competition spot.

The VAR is a great technology which is being corrupted by unscrupulous referees to favor only God knows which dark affairs and favors they are requested to and no I am not joking about them,it is the plain truth that UEFA/FIFA refuses to see.

Apart from the existing polemic, I think this is a good victory for Pochettino considering that Spurs are the former club he coached several years ago and upon returning to the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium he immediately gave a crushing blow to his former club. I'm sure that even though Pochettino often fails in managing big teams, this time it looks like the results will be quite different when he handles Chelsea and we'll just have to wait and see if Chelsea is able to penetrate the European competition zone next season, it will be a good season for the start of his career at Chelsea.

Recently, VAR technology has not worked as expected and we, as football fans, may feel that this technology can still become a monopoly for a number of people who want more results and I think the referee is indeed the person most responsible for the results.

That Chelsea win over Tottenham will give him a glimpse of hope for their clash with Manchester city this weekend. Somehow Chelsea has given me a feeling that they play a different style of football when they face top sides. They weren’t in a good shape when they played Liverpool and Arsenal but they didn’t lose, rather they play out a draw against these top sides. With that assessment, I don't see Chelsea losing to Manchester city when they the odds are against them to lose. Chelsea approach their game differently when they play these top sides, they tend to play open games and it's easy for Chelsea to score and try to defend as well. The Tottenham and Arsenal games should give us an hint on how dangerous and different Chelsea played which is totally different from the way they normally play.
Besides this is football, Manchester City looks the better team on paper. I won’t rule out a home win for draw for this Chelsea side that are gradually returning to form.

Even though Chelsea always surprises them when they play against top clubs in the EPL, it's certain that they might make things difficult for Manchester City this week, as in their previous match they destroyed Tottenham's unbeaten record with a landslide score. Playing at home, of course Chelsea will play even more optimally, especially against Manchester. City is considered the strongest club in the EPL, but even so, it will be difficult for them to win this match.

It's just that with their situation in this hell group it looks even more complicated for them because after all they are one of the debutant clubs and must be faced with a Champions League subscription club and even one of the clubs that is always a favorite for the Champions League like PSG, obviously this is troublesome for Newcastle.
But so far I don't consider them bad because their steps in complicating big clubs like Milan, Dortmund and PSG are worth appreciating.

There have been no reports or investigations that connected Roman Abramovich to the war in Russia. His only offence was that he communicated or had a close relationship with Vladimir Putin. And I don't see that as a genuine reason for England and her allies to seize his assets. After all every businessman will have political connections. Almost all global business owners have close relationships with many world leaders. They do this to expand their businesses and protect their investments. Almost all Fortune 500 company owners have political connections even in the UK. I am not among the people who disliked the young Russian billionaire who transformed Chelsea from a relatively unknown club and made it one of the best in the world. Roman had a vision and passion for Chelsea and he will ever be remembered.

Chelsea and its fans are still celebrating the convincing win on Monday against one of the best sides in the EPL. But the main test will be on Sunday in their home ground when they will meet the best team in Europe and face some of the most feared strikers in the world. If the Blues win the game against the Cityzens, it will become clearer that they are on the path of recovery.

If Tottenham was complete they should have won. Even with eight man on the pitch, Chelsea had difficulty beating Tottenham Hotspurs defenders couple of times.

I don't think there'll be any test, Chelsea are not worthy of facing Manchester City. It's football though anything can definitely happen. Just like it was for Arsenal and then Tottenham Hotspur. Newcastle is only considered the dark horse in the group and it is natural that their performance in the Champions League is quite different from the game they show in the English league. The Champions League will be much more competitive because it takes experience and mentality to make them ready to face all possibilities. If you watch the match, I think Newcastle's performance was not that bad, but Dortmund's game was very coordinated and they were able to take advantage of their home and mentality to beat the English representatives.

Newcastle are in the top six of the standings and so far they have suffered three consecutive defeats in the League, although up to now their performance has been much more stable and consistent after these defeats. Newcastle's next matches will be against Bournemouth and Chelsea, I think this is an opportunity for them to catch up on points from Aston Villa in the top five.

Eddie Howe will continue to push his players into giving the highest level of performance. The Magpies do not have the standings to compete with premier clubs in the UEFA Champions League; their performances frequently fall behind of expectations, which negatively impacts their performance in UCL games. I strongly believe they will not advance to the next round, and given the Europa League, their chances are also considered slim. Newcastle United are only an average team in the English Premier League; nonetheless, this is their prime form for breaking records, and they seized every opportunity of the a regular basis.

As for me, Newcastle need to change their tactics of play and Eddie Howe needs to reconsider the formation and tactics for the next matches. We need more aggressive defense.
The last game really showed this. too soft behavior of the defense. There are holes in the attack, they must be fixed and such mistakes must not be repeated in the future!!!

It is indeed the most difficult group in the Champions League this season so that with the situation of Newcastle, which is a debutant club, it is indeed for the achievement of being able to compete with a subscription club that can always qualify for the knock out phase is already very good for them.

It comes as no surprise that the match between Chelsea and Tottenham is always highly anticipated and guarantees an entertaining display of football. I remember that when tuchel was also confronting conte in the field. It will be so dumb if chelsea would not able to win against 9 men.
The chance for totenham to do counter attack is very small. The Tottenham team's tactic involved utilizing Son as the lone striker, while the other players maintained their positions in the midfield. Wrongly attacking chelsea will be in result getting counter attack back from chelsea.
It's a dilemma whether the club needs to attack or defend in this match.

This is why i do like to watch the match between totenham vs chelsea. The game is always very attractive and there were lots of drama on this game.

Tottenham vs Chelsea matches always has a load pack of entertainments and excitements owing to the fact that it’s a derby match (London Derby) Chelsea almost gave the game away on two occasions when Tottenham came close to goal, I think Ange Postecoglou should try to know that his Spurs side is lacking in depth, would the team be able to survive on these red cards and maybe Maddison who was taken off due to fear of injury crisis.

The Premier League has alot of exciting moments, maybe we’re about to witness one in coming weeks, I just hope Tottenham would be able withstand the pressure that could be on them the coming week based on the 2 red card bookings, I don't know how serious Maddison's injury situation might be but hopefully it's not something very serious and he could still play in their next match.

They still have a chance to even win first place, so it’s too early to say that they should learn something. They are relatively new to European competition, the Chmpions League to be precise, so perhaps they need to get used to the pressure of Europe's biggest competition. But even so, that can't justify their loss of stability in the game. Maybe some of us will take this for granted, but this is a valuable lesson for them, because they know they have to be better if they want to talk more in the Champions League. Now their chances of qualifying from the group stage are very slim, still there but small and it also depends on the results of other clubs.
