Disappointing results for Arsenal yesterday as they saw their unbeaten run in the Premier League this season come to an end in a controversial 90 minutes game against Newcastle United. The goal which was enough to give Newcastle all three point got to stand after VAR’s review on a possible ball out of play situation which was clear enough for all to see but VAR ruled in favor of the home team.

Another surprise in the weekend was the impressive performance from Nottingham Forest. I must admit that I didn’t see this one coming and I predicted Aston Villa to demolish Nottingham Forest. My prediction was drawn from Villa recent form but Nottingham were too motivated at home to concede a defeat and brilliantly worked out a resounding win today.

In fact, the Luton team is relatively weak. The team was in the relegation zone. And won only one match out of 11 matches. It was unthinkable that Luton would pick up a point against Liverpool. But we have to admit that Luton's players performed very well in this match. It is true that they played defensively, but they managed to make some excellent attacks. Liverpool played completely attacking strategy. Luton's players seized the opportunity. Luton's players made some great counter-attacks and managed to score a goal in the 80th minute. But they were not so lucky. After 90 minutes, Diaz's goal brought the match back to parity. Despite not getting 3 points from this match, Luton's performance was very good. If they can perform like this, they can stay away from the relegation zone.

You are right that Luton are frankly a weak team and it is likely that Klopp expected an easy win in this match, but in the Premier League you cannot underestimate any team, and Liverpool made this mistake. It's bad because Liverpool miss the chance to get within a point of City. Aston Villa also unexpectedly lose and lose the opportunity to take advantage of the fact that Arsenal lost points, they lose the chance to climb into the top 4.

Despite dominating the entire match against Luton, the Liverpool team was not able to win. Their performance was not bad. However, they left the defense unguarded as they played a completely attacking strategy. This is why the team had to concede a goal. .
Liverpool lost 2 points in their last match while Arsenal lost 3 points. Arsenal lost against Newcastle. And these two teams are now third and fourth in the table. Liverpool lost points to Luton Town in the match they shouldn't have lost, and they would have lost if it wasn't for the goal that came in the last minute. Nunez is a good striker, he can do everything, he has good runs behind the defense, he is constantly dribbling, but he is either unlucky in finishing or he needs to work harder. Nunez really pushed hard to score a goal in this match.

Diaz later came into the game and tied the game at 90+5, making up for the day and gaining at least one point for Liverpool. Nunez missed so many goals, I don't know, and even though he tried so hard, I can't be mad at him for that. They were good tries.

Something unexpected happened in this match, yes Liverpool always deadlocked when they attacked and as a result they had to go home with only 1 point from a match that they were actually a big favorite. Luton only moved in their own defense area, and they managed to steal 1 goal first which surprised us in the 80th minute. Liverpool, who continued to attack with all their might, finally got a goal in the extra minute and saved them from losing to Luton Town. I think it was luck on Luton's side, because if you look at the match Liverpool should have scored at least 2 goals. But that didn't happen.

At least that madness of looking that unbeaten run has come to an end, let's see what the Gunners have to offer. From the looks of things it seems they (Arsenal) value that unbeaten run more than going all out to get the job done, instead of winning a game they prefer playing out a draw, that's if they can't get a win. That's very poor coming from Arteta and his boys, let's hope Arsenal will start up a new chapter of winning games and scoring more goals.
Tottenham Hotspur are the only team that's playing unbeaten at the moment and Chelsea could be the team to stop from continuing that unbeaten run, despite the Blues not being in good form and their ability of even getting more than 2-3 goals in a match is a bigger problem. Tonight's game can be a turning point for Chelsea to start their winning, that's if they get a victory against the North London Club Tottenham Hotspur.

Yes, finally Newcastle can break their unbeaten record. It was interesting to see the course of the match because both teams struggled to penetrate the defense of each opponent, both Arsenal and Newcastle. But lucky for Newcastle because they can get chances in the second half and they can convert it into a goal at once this is the only goal created in this match.
I think Arsenal must reorganize themselves, because their performance has declined in the last few matches they have played. If they continue like this then they will fall behind the teams that are above them at the moment.

Nottingham Forest 2 - 0 Aston Villa FC

 

I confess that I am very shocked by this result, I bet on Aston Villa and even to be sure I placed a bet on the "Draw Or Aston Villa FC" market, but I didn't expect Aston Villa to lose, nor even that they wouldn't be able to to score a goal. On paper Aston Villa came into this game as the favourites, they who in the last 4 games managed to have 4 games without losing and were coming from a sequence of 2 consecutive victories, while Nottingham had 4 games without winning, although they only had a defeat, yet in my opinion Aston Villa could have come out of this game with victory. But on the field things were completely different, it looked like Aston Villa's attackers were playing with wooden glasses.

Luton Town 1 - 1 Liverpool FC

 

Another result that shocked me, I bet that Liverpool would win this game, because in my opinion this was an easy game for Liverpool as they had 3 consecutive games without losing and a victory in this game would mean that Liverpool would have 26 points , 1 point less than Manchester City and with that Liverpool would be showing that this season they are fighting to win the premier league. but even playing against a team that in the last 4 games had no victory, they lost. So this shows that Liverpool's current level is not that of a team capable of being champions this season

Well, today we have a good game to watch:

Tottenham Hotspur FC - Chelsea FC

This will be another test game for Tottenham to measure how strong they are to compete with Manchester City in the fight for the title. On the other hand, Chelsea will also try to win so as not to disappoint their fans and continue the fight for access to the European Champions League. In my opinion, Tottenham will be victorious in this game. They are currently the second best team in the Premier League, the first is Manchester City in my opinion.

I was very disappointed with Aston Villa's performance when I bet on a draw because seeing Aston Villa who performed very well in the first half even though they conceded in the 5th minute by a Nott Forest player I was still confident that Aston Villa could turn things around and the second goal was scored by Orel Mangala I was still confident that in the second half Aston Villa could come back to end the match in a draw and I decided to place a slightly bigger bet on this match but it turned out that Aston Villa was very silly against a club that was at the bottom of the points table and couldn't equalize the score or win the match and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is disappointed with Aston Villa but many fans bet on this match and in the second half Aston Villa should have been able to respond to Nott Forest's score but for some reason the opportunity was always wasted even though they were in front of the goal several times but couldn't score. that score is absolutely ridiculous.

The weakness of aston villa has been revealed by nottingham forest. FYI, villa was always using lowblocks against the big team but when it was facing the weaker team compared with villa. It is always struggling in scoring against the low blocks strategy used by the weak team as well.
So, the main weakness of aston villa was the lowblocks strategy itself. This is the key when there was a team that is always playing defensive and the club shall not go to be aggressive against it. I think that emery needs to take this as a serious problem.
Other club will be using the same strategy as used by forest against villa. It's caused by the main weakness of villa was lowblocks itself. This is a disaster if villa will continue to get another bad result.
Villa was performing so poorly. Emery needs to learn from the last match.

Ange Postecoglou who won the manager of the month in August as well in September have been tactically proficient with how he's handled his team this season and I expect them to either win or get a draw from that game

Luton's defense in this match was very good and it cannot be denied that Liverpool was very frustrated with Luton solid defense. Liverpool's dominance was very good in this match, the opportunities and ball control they had were very visible even from the start of the first half, only Luton also played very disciplined where their players were really focused on defending and even Luton's strikers were in their penalty box. while occasionally pressing with quick counterattacks when gaining momentum.
Apart from that, I think Luton also have to thanks to Karminski who played very well in this match because there were some very good saves that he showed in this match and I am also quite annoyed with Nunez because there was one opportunity that could have been a goal when passing. Salah is very good but wasted.

Liverpool failed to get full points in today match even though they had tried quite hard in this match, but the final result of this match was a draw and both team shared 1 point. Failure to get full points in this match means Liverpool failed to move Tottenham ranking this week. I admit that Liverpool played quite well in this match. They put strong pressure on Luton in the first and second half, but they failed to convert many opportunities into goal.

Tomorrow match between Tottenham vs Chelsea will be a big match because both teams have many quality players in their teams. I think that Tottenham will work hard to be able to score goals early to be able to dominate the course of this match. It is very likely that Son's contribution is highly expected in this match because if Son et al manage to get 3 points then they will again lead the standings this week.

I have to say that as a Blues fan, it was fun to see Liverpool waste chances against Luton, even though I know I should feel bad for them. They really should feel bad about not winning since they had the game in the palm of their hands. Even though they had the ball and shot a lot, they couldn't finish it. Sometimes I feel bad for other people, even though I usually feel angry when I think about our present situation

Regarding Tottenham, I'm sick of hearing that they haven't lost a game this season. The game against Chelsea tomorrow isn't just any game, even though we're not very good. Yes, Tottenham is playing great right now, but football is more than just form. It's also about past and pride, and Chelsea has a lot of both. Although I'm sensible, let's not give up on Chelsea just yet. There are some great players on our team who can surprise everyone, even when they don't expect it

It's a shame that Liverpool couldn't win the match against Luton, I think this was a match that wasn't difficult enough for Leverpool against a weak club and managed to get 3 points to continue to advance to the top.
Even though Liverpool dominated possession with 74% of the ball, in reality Luton scored the opening goal against Liverpool first and took the lead, but luckily Diaz was able to score a goal in the last minute and managed to equalize. Diaz became Liverpool's savior so they didn't suffer defeat in the match.

Liverpool had to be satisfied with the draw because at least Liverpool did not suffer defeat against a weak club.

It gave too many Manchester United fans that one of their players out on loan gave Luton Town the single goal they needed to draw the match against the red ( Liverpool )
Thanks to Darwin Nunez for throwing away chances, he is not so much of a composed player, Mohammed Salah won't have thrown those quality chances away. Liverpool worked for those goal but they couldn't go in.
Some players signed in new are to be looked at and how much they have contributed to the success of the squad.
Mc Alistar has not been like he was during days with Brighton, has anyone gotten to check him out personally?

Thanks to Diaz who saved Liverpool! My prayers are with him, I pray and hope they get to save him sooner than expected. He's such a strong player mentally. Some would be fidgeting and shit but mans been solid. Godspeed with that, nobody wants this for his or her father.

I really like what Luton showed in this match because they know Liverpool are very far above them in terms of level and strength so they are looking for safety by keeping almost all the players they have in defense.
This bus parking scheme makes it difficult for Liverpool to enter the Luton penalty area so inevitably Liverpool have to try more from outside the Penalty box.
In addition, I like the performance of Luton's goalkeeper in this match because his performance was very disciplined and even some brilliant saves made by Karminski in this match which kept Luton's goal safe from many goals.
With this result at least Liverpool are not too embarrassed even though this is a mistake for them.

Because they realize that if they try to keep up with Liverpool's game it will endanger themselves considering the conditions are not too possible for that so indeed the only way is to survive even though this result is quite surprising and indeed the reaction given by many people about this game is quite reasonable because it is clear this is outside of everyone's expectations but this is a match that indeed anything can happen.
With this result Liverpool are still in 3rd place in the standings, it's just that they can't get closer to Manchester City and Tottenham who will play today.

This game is not only crucial for Tottenham to win but also an important game for Chelsea because they lost their last premier league home game to Brentford which brought them down in the table and if they eventually lose this game against their opponent team Tottenham, that will definitely not mean well for the manager Pochettino and the entire club. Pochettino a former Tottenham coach and current Chelsea Manager knows the strengths and weakness of Tottenham and would likely use that in his advantage,  But Tottenham on their side will do everything to try to win the match to maintain their lead in the table.

Do you think Pochettino knows the weakness of the new Tottenham and can use it against them? Ever since Ange Postecoglou came on board the team pattern of play has changed and they now make daring shots from outside of the box and that is something Chelsea can't do. Do you know what worries Chelsea? They all lack coordination and if you watch any of their games, you'd notice that a shot that one player will take, two or three players would gather to shoot and end up colliding with each other, confusing themselves and wasting a good opportunity of getting a goal.
 Tottenham Hotspur have a deadly squad right now and I think Marc Cucurella will have a lot on his plate trying ward off James Madison and Richarlison and he'd need support from Axel Disasi. In all I'm keeping my fingers crossed for any surprises because this game week, in the Premier League and other leagues to an extent gave us shocking results. We saw bigger clubs finding it difficult to beat the smaller ones when on a normal day it should be an effortless win.

Newcastle started the season very badly. Their performance was erratic. Many people thought Newcastle would not even finish in the top 6 of the table this season. But Newcastle coach Eddie Howe has managed to stabilize his squad. Now Newcastle's performance is quite stable and consistent. I was not surprised at all by Newcastle's win against Arsenal. Newcastle's performance was not weak, but Newcastle were very tactical.

No one would have imagined that the Luton would share points with Liverpool. Because this team was in the relegation zone and their performance was very poor in the previous matches. But Luton's performance against Liverpool was really good. And I would say they deserve 1 point from this match. Liverpool failed to win this match due to their tactical weakness.

The most consistent team that can achieve maximum results in every match because if you say they are a strong team, of course Arsenal is strong enough but they are not consistent. I think the lower ranked teams will also work hard to improve their ranking on the standing so it is quite natural that every match we have seen more aggressive play by both team in order to achieve victory.

However, Manchester City is the strongest team and is consistent in improving their performance where Pep Guardiola men are back at the top of the standings after being knocked into the top 3. For Tottenham, they also have to be consistent in today match to be able to secure 3 point in front of their supporters. Chelsea also has the opportunity to stop Tottenham winning streak if they can play better in today match.

Yeah I agree with you, Tottenham will play better than Liverpool and Arsenal we know that these 2 teams have missed a few points in their last fight but the situation is different from Tottenham who is still eyeing top standings I'm sure they will take over by defeating Chelsea and Tottenham doesn't want to miss a single point in every match. Another consideration is that Chelsea do not play optimally when playing away except when playing at home may draw can be considered.

Based on statistics this season Tottenham always wins when playing at home no matter who his opponent must be defeated and the 2 draws are when they play away against Arsenal and Brendford, If they only drew against Chelsea, it means that Tottenham will let Manchester City at the top of the standings because their total goals are lower.

Tottenham had better continue playing strongly in big games if they really want to be competitive. They are already comfortable against smaller teams. I assume they would make the least amount of point loss than most of the other big teams in such easier games. However the big games ahead would be decisive about the league title.

When it comes to Tottenham's chance for the league title I can't be sure of that because of Manchester City. As long as Guardiola is here it is really difficult honestly. They also make mistakes in unexpected games sometimes but they are rare times. Tottenham would need to take advantage of that by being very consistent.

Liverpool underrated Luton Town because they see them as a team that everybody is beating in the Premier League,

Winning is the top priority of every club's manager's in EPL. English premier league is basically not for the weak, rather only the strong survives. Luton Town vs Liverpool end 1-1 on the scoresheet with both teams unable to detached themselves from a draw tie. That's what an elite team gets when they underrated an average team. Who could have thought about the match that Liverpool will struggle to have a 1-1 draw tie against Luton Town? Ofcourse nobody because the Reds are weigh beyond their level and they focused on good chances of grabbing other priorities.

Luton's defense in this match was very good and it cannot be denied that Liverpool was very frustrated with Luton solid defense. Liverpool's dominance was very good in this match, the opportunities and ball control they had were very visible even from the start of the first half, only Luton also played very disciplined where their players were really focused on defending and even Luton's strikers were in their penalty box. while occasionally pressing with quick counterattacks when gaining momentum.
Apart from that, I think Luton also have to thanks to Karminski who played very well in this match because there were some very good saves that he showed in this match and I am also quite annoyed with Nunez because there was one opportunity that could have been a goal when passing. Salah is very good but wasted.

Luton shocked me with their performance against Liverpool, a game which was predicted to go in Liverpool’s favor, turned out to be a promising game for Luton when they took the lead until Liverpool got one back and finished the game in a 1:1 draw. Kudos to Luton for been able to stand up against one of the best teams in the league.

But I think the last final between Manchester City and Inter Milan was a great one. Like, it wasn't the standard thing like Real Madrid x Manchester City, but a team that many thought would have no chance, but Inter Milan gained more and more traction during the season and reached their peak at the end. I think this was a great final in regards to the participants' names but also to the roles they were given beforehand and then also how the game turned out to be eventually. There was an underdog somehow because everyone thought Manchester City would crush Inter Milan 3-0, but it was a final that I still think was a great show for all fans. And in a final I think Arsenal would have a chance.

I think a higher proportion of football fans placed their bets on Inter Milan to win but Manchester City eventually went against odds to be victorious. Inter Milan had a fantastic season capping it up with reaching the UEFA champions league final even though they were defeated, they still put up a good performance until the final whistle.

Because they realize that if they try to keep up with Liverpool's game it will endanger themselves considering the conditions are not too possible for that so indeed the only way is to survive even though this result is quite surprising and indeed the reaction given by many people about this game is quite reasonable because it is clear this is outside of everyone's expectations but this is a match that indeed anything can happen.
With this result Liverpool are still in 3rd place in the standings, it's just that they can't get closer to Manchester City and Tottenham who will play today.

Chelsea are not really in form now but Tottenham Hotspur shouldn't be capitalize on that because Chelsea are unpredictable, take a look at them against arsenal they surprised almost everybody with the way they play. Tottenham Hotspur are in a very good condition now and they will like to have a continuity in their unbeaten since their are the only one standing in that position, this week game had changed so many, among the top five in the table only Manchester City escape the disaster of the week, Liverpool vs town drew, Arsenal are Aston villa loss now Tottenham Hotspur are the only left is either they join Manchester City or Liverpool or Arsenal and Aston villa, the choice is in their hands.

Arsenal is still fine, but this loss does of course have some drawbacks as a draw would have been much better as it would have kept the distance between Arsenal and Newcastle. Now Newcastle is in the middle of the competition for the top ranks again and that raises pressure for all of the teams at the top. But until mid of December Arsenal will have a few games in the Premier League that won't be as hard as the one against Newcastle.
For Liverpool this draw was a disappointment I think. Since Aston Villa and Arsenal lost their games, Liverpool had a tempting chance to create some distance. Still not much, but some distance that could also snowball later on when the teams behind fail once more and Liverpool has a streak, this can quickly grow to 6 points, which is quite comfortable. But they missed that chance.

Newcastle started the season very badly. Their performance was erratic. Many people thought Newcastle would not even finish in the top 6 of the table this season. But Newcastle coach Eddie Howe has managed to stabilize his squad. Now Newcastle's performance is quite stable and consistent. I was not surprised at all by Newcastle's win against Arsenal. Newcastle's performance was not weak, but Newcastle were very tactical.

No one would have imagined that the Luton would share points with Liverpool. Because this team was in the relegation zone and their performance was very poor in the previous matches. But Luton's performance against Liverpool was really good. And I would say they deserve 1 point from this match. Liverpool failed to win this match due to their tactical weakness.

Liverpool play well but lack goals and luck in the match, Arsenal but I didn't expect Newcastle to defeat them because Arsenal are in better form than them Newcastle are trying this season I think if they continue like this they can go Champions Leagues next season but I don't think it will be easy for them because Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City can qualify because they are the ones that I think will go to champions league because they are the one that i think they will go to champions league because they are in good shape this season.

Since Manchester City is already in second place in the league, I don't think they will drop so easily because Guardiola wants to win the Premier League again this season. Since Rodri's return, they have not lost a match, and if De Bruyne returns from injury, I am confident they will win the Premier League trophy. I am just waiting for the Liverpool vs Manchester City match because I believe they will drop points because Liverpool are in good form than last season and they can compete with them.
