Liverpool is already 3 points behind City (and potentially 5 behind Tottenham) and this is a gigantic gap since in order to catch up with City they need to win a head-to-head match, and a defeat in a head-to-head match will be equal to losing the race since the distance turns into 6 points .

That's right, I even thought this would be a landslide victory for Liverpool but it seems like they were having trouble from the first minute. Against a weak team like Luton Town it shouldn't be something that will bother them from getting 3 points but this time it looks like Liverpool have lost their usual performance. In fact, Liverpool had to fall behind first and fortunately Luiz Diaz was the savior in this match with the goal he scored in injury time. Looks excited with Tottenham Hotspur unbeaten record until 10 matches and Chelsea most unbelievable teams success stop Spur unbeaten record in domestic league.

This season Chelsea have surprised us all in big tests, they tend to play better football when they play against stronger opponents and so far for them this season they have not lost a single match yet against the big boys in the league. Manchester United's squad does not have an experienced striker. Hojlund cannot be considered a first-line striker. Apart from that, I see Tottenham being forced to play too offensively with 9 players. Moreover, even though in the next match Tottenham will play against Wolves but after that, in reality, Tottenham will have to play against Aston Villa and also Manchester City. It seems you watched from back of the TV and I have not seen many people applauding Chelsea in the match against Tottenham. From the start of the match, Chelsea had no directions neither good form, they were just running without directions. Chelsea started to perform well when the referee officials decided to destablize the Totenham team.

Chelsea is lucky although they had to win by whatever way, because the next few fixtures aren't friendly with them. They need to up their game and not rely on the controversial VAR officiating.

Honestly Tottenham's defeat was completely unexpected, before I never thought that the team that is now on the rise could be defeated with disappointing statistics by a team that was almost in the degeradation zone with all the problems of the downturn. The fatal mistake experienced by Tottenham in my opinion was because two of their players were red carded, it was a strong reason why the score at the end of the match was very far away because obviously their strength was not balanced if 9 people had to fight 11 people. And also yes, the problem and the impact is not only the confidence of the players who have dropped but obviously the confidence of the fans will also definitely decrease because on the other hand the prestige of the club has been humiliated at home. A very bad and disappointing result, in this match Tottenham was really far from luck, and I hope Ange will soon be able to restore the confidence and consistency of his squad for the next few matches.

The defeat of Tottenham at home by Chelse could be seen as one case of squad depth. Squad depth is a big issue in football and could be caused either by a red card or injury crises; and in the case of Tottenham we saw both of them in play the red card on both a defender and defensive midfielder and injury on Maddison who has created a partnership with star player Son.

 I think this should serve as a lesson to all teams competing for their league titles. I thought as much because the two players that got injured were integral players that are playing a very vital role in the squad, and Maddison managed to finish the match. He might also not be fit to play the next match against Wolves, so the coach might prefer resting them to be fit so that they can all come back strong against Manchester City.

this time the tottenham squad is really unlucky, postecoglou's strategy is not effective, tottenham should be able to win at their own home (Tottenham managed to score a quick goal in the 6th minute), Tottenham's misfortune began to appear when Romero made a foul and got a red card. because of this painful defeat, tottenham had to be willing to lose points and in the EPL standings currently man city is in 1st place with 27 points while tottenham has 26 points. as many people say, when Man City is at the top it will be difficult for them to catch up lol.

I don't think Tottenham will drop another 3 points in their next game against Wolves. Ange Postecoglou has to get his best formation and players due to several suspensions due to red cards, but I believe Tottenham will not lose much of his good play in this match.

You remember that Arsenal losed the EFL Cup 3:1 to West Ham, while Newcastle defeated Manchester United 3:0. Although I was just thinking that Arteta had a different plan for the important match against Newcastle, which is why they lost, I was totally wrong then to think that way because Arteta substituted a strong team in the second half of their match against West Ham, i was thinking that he did that to avoiding any injuries among the players. Considering how well Newcastle has performed this season, I was expected that either Arsenal  win or the game end draw. Arsenal was unable to score a single goal against Newcastle, that am actually shocked by the outcome of the game when it ended like that.

Thought so too but I have never been in favor of the idea to tackle some competition differently even though most people will say to pursue the bigger price. I think winning at least a trophy every season is a good achievement and should be the goal of every club. Against Newcastle was a different story, the game was supposed to finish in a draw if not for the incompetence of the referee. Newcastle United won the game with the help of VAR’s mistake and I am glad that Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville were smart to see it and admit that truely Arsenal were robbed of something that would have been a draw.

I think this VAR decision in recent matches in the premier league have been very controversial and I think if this goal decision technology called VAR will cause more confusion in matches they rather scrap the use of this modern technology of deciding the final outcome of a match.

Cristian Romero's red card and Destiny Udogie red card was really a huge blow to Tottenham as there hope of returning back to the top of the table was cut off as a result of the defeat they faced against Chelsea.
