Although Manchester City does have a busier schedule. Like today they just played against Young Boys. And Manchester City can win the match without any significant difficulties. So the time span from today to the day of the match against Chelsea is around 4 days. Christopher Nkunku is mid but Chelsea fans will have an excuse when things are not going well . If you take a bigger picture of Chelsea current condition, I'm not sure if I'm the only one that observed in their past matches, when they have match, it's either the forward are not syncing to wingers or the striker doesn't have connection with midfielders. Similarly, when complete forward and midfielders are doing well, the defenders are either doing nothing or don't attack properlyy.

By January, since Chelsea want more men, they should be able to transform and get better but if after that things remain the same and Pochettino is still around the club, I think his next line or action is to mass sold the players in that club and get new images that will represent the team, these players are wasted investment.

Chelsea are building or finding a character of the team, so I dont think new signing is the solution for Mauricio Pochettino right now. without solidity, adding more new players could mess up the compactness which is already built. before they sign new players, they need to improve, build a character as a team and maintain the progression. that's the only right way for now, unless they would start rebuilding from basic again.

all the players in the squad more or less are a level in quality, it's a matter of gametimes for them to improve their quality and chemistry in the team which are starting to progress and getting results. Chelsea will be top competitor again if this plan of rebuilding is not having setback, and adding new players will be inevitability needed.

I agree,it was Chelsea performance more than anything else and although I am not a Chelsea fan I love the way Pochettino trains,it is showing the results gradually,I am pretty confident that in the end of the season we will see Chelsea as a minimum in an European competition spot.

I don't think anyone who watch the first 20 to 25 minutes of that game and understands the game of football can boldly say that without the two red cards, Chelsea would've still won the English Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

I will not argue when you say that Chelsea played well in this match, but the 2 Tottenham players who received red cards had a huge influence and advantage for Chelsea so that they could win this match and I really don't believe that Chelsea can win if the Tottenham players don't. got a red card, because Tottenham is a pretty strong team when they got a red card Tottenham's game remained aggressive even though it was unbalanced.

I thought that if the game would be owned by totenham but i was wrong. I meant i was seeing from the first minute about how totenham was dominating the game while chelsea was consistently defending. The situation for Tottenham became even more unfavorable when a goal was scored as a result of a deflecting ball. On top of that, the referee's decision to disallow approximately 4 goals added to the chaotic nature of the match.

People never predict that if totenham would be losing 2 players easily due to the serious fouls being made by romero and udogie. Im also getting surprised that totenham was losing its control during the second half. I know that if ange was also telling his team to use off side trap against chelsea but it was not working. Chelsea could have also many chances to score but all being wasteful caused by the players being so selfish at some moments.

Glad to see that how jackson was adding more goal into the chelsea. It was making the blues won the game with 4-1 as the last results. Im 100% sure that if people never expect the dramatic game between chelsea vs totenham.

Apart from the existing polemic, I think this is a good victory for Pochettino considering that Spurs are the former club he coached several years ago and upon returning to the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium he immediately gave a crushing blow to his former club. I'm sure that even though Pochettino often fails in managing big teams, this time it looks like the results will be quite different when he handles Chelsea and we'll just have to wait and see if Chelsea is able to penetrate the European competition zone next season, it will be a good season for the start of his career at Chelsea.

That Chelsea win over Tottenham will give him a glimpse of hope for their clash with Manchester city this weekend. Somehow Chelsea has given me a feeling that they play a different style of football when they face top sides. They weren’t in a good shape when they played Liverpool and Arsenal but they didn’t lose, rather they play out a draw against these top sides. With that assessment, I don't see Chelsea losing to Manchester city when they the odds are against them to lose. Chelsea approach their game differently when they play these top sides, they tend to play open games and it's easy for Chelsea to score and try to defend as well. The Tottenham and Arsenal games should give us an hint on how dangerous and different Chelsea played which is totally different from the way they normally play.

Newcastle performance yesterday was unlike them because considering how good in performance they are on this season losing there match yesterday was never an option for them but Dortmund had to win them and not even one goal but 2 goals, although Dortmund is also a very strong team but comparing the two I think Newcastle United has more good performance than Dortmund.

I don't feel they are bad in Europe actually in this especially when they managed to draw Milan and win against PSG it has been one of the very good performance improvements for Newcastle at this time. It's just that with their situation in this hell group it looks even more complicated for them because after all they are one of the debutant clubs and must be faced with a Champions League subscription club and even one of the clubs that is always a favorite for the Champions League like PSG, obviously this is troublesome for Newcastle.

I am not among the people who disliked the young Russian billionaire who transformed Chelsea from a relatively unknown club and made it one of the best in the world. Roman had a vision and passion for Chelsea and he will ever be remembered.

Chelsea and its fans are still celebrating the convincing win on Monday against one of the best sides in the EPL. But the main test will be on Sunday in their home ground when they will meet the best team in Europe and face some of the most feared strikers in the world. If the Blues win the game against the Cityzens, it will become clearer that they are on the path of recovery.

If Tottenham was complete they should have won. Even with eight man on the pitch, Chelsea had difficulty beating Tottenham Hotspurs defenders couple of times.

I think Newcastle were playing too safe and it worked against them, second half was a bit better but still it was poor compared to what they can do, they have now made it very difficult for themselves to qualify from the group.

I don't feel they are bad in Europe actually in this especially when they managed to draw Milan and win against PSG it has been one of the very good performance improvements for Newcastle at this time. It's just that with their situation in this hell group it looks even more complicated for them because after all they are one of the debutant clubs and must be faced with a Champions League subscription club and even one of the clubs that is always a favorite for the Champions League like PSG, obviously this is troublesome for Newcastle.
But so far I don't consider them bad because their steps in complicating big clubs like Milan, Dortmund and PSG are worth appreciating.

I think Newcastle's group is one of the difficult group and it is very hard for Newcastle right now to make their way  to the next stage. CL games always tends to be a surprising one as everyone wants to champions of Europe. Dortmund really were the better team yesterday as they managed to keep on finding chances and scored two goals. Newcastle however seemed kinda bit out of shape and not their usual performance as they show in PL games. It is tough to play PL and CL games within 2-3 days so that's another factor too. Still Newcastle should try to play strong and try to advance to next stage at least.
