I didn't expect Nottingham Forest to score against Aston Villa and lead in the first half... I don't think that Villa will lose, but Nottingham Forest's home statistics are very interesting... The last three games were played in a draw... Perhaps today there will be one more such game...

Aston Villa now has to be held back because it cannot overtake Arsenal who lost yesterday, it's bad to think Aston Villa will not lose because we know that Aston Villa's game is quite good but Nottingham Forest is able to break and win at home.

Newcastle were organized both in terms of defense and attack. Arsenal is a pretty good side who over the year has improved tremendously, sharing one point a piece with Newcastle would have been a great fight and what’s best for the game, but the defense was too strong for Arsenal to even get a draw and share the point.

The goal which seems controversial buh was still was awarded by VAR though. That controversial goal put the L in Arsenal’s run of form, Mikel Arteta has to accept the defeat of yesterday, improve the team’s depth and try to make the team more quick and creative in attack. The decision has been taken by the referee and it will be useless caused by blaming the referee will not change the situation. Arsenal must have accepted its first lose this season. You must also see the previous case related to the VAR. It's always become a disaster.
It's caused by the referee and operators were always taking the wrong decision regarding the result from their analyzation. It's such a huge mistake being made by the referee and this is not the first time.
I don't know how long the referee will try to repeat the same mistake over and over. Arsenal has become a club that is getting disadvantage at this moment.

Look at so many complaints towards the referee in the previous case but nothing happen. We are only wasting our energy to complaint about that.  Let those fucking referee was continuing to do their jobs.

So many times, the chief match official(referee) have made wrong calls and decisions which the players or team in general have to accept no matter what as it's in his power to make the final decisions. At thesame time we've seen some misinterpretation in the decision from the VAR by the on-field officials, all these make for little game errors which the consequences has too be faced.

 Arsenal were per say victim of circumstances on the part of game errors from the match official and it's cost them their unbeaten race. Their loss wasn't their own making but still the decision which has been made cannot be changed.
Technically, the errors has to be checked by the football association body and also the referees do their best ro avoid such wrong calls repeating itself, in some situations, it may seem as the referee robbing the team off their points which on a normal note is definitely very wrong. Basically, the referees have to check in themselves properly and also try to see that their decisions and that of the VAR aligns or has a soft landing.

Impossible to rolling back the score with the mistake being made by the referee. I dunno what's wrong with the referee these days. It seems to me that they can't even take decision making. The decision being determine by the var operator.
It's not only arsenal but there have been some clubs were also facing the same problem like what arsenal did. It looks so stupid to see the referee keeps repeat the same mistake again.
There must be double check by the referee but it seems like that referee has his own agenda but since that's the final decision and it can be disrupted.
The fans can only blame the referee but this is not impacting the result.

Slowly but surely West Ham is starting to decline, it could even be said to be far down compared to the beginning of the season, three consecutive defeats and in five matches only producing four points is a bad thing and losing to Everton in the previous week and happening at home is the most strange, given the conditions. It is very possible that their ranking will drop further and it is quite unfortunate that they performed well but were unable to maintain their performance.

We have seen great performances from Newcastle players in the last few matches. The players are very confident now.

Newcastle United are also strong team now, they have bring to the end of Arsenal unbeaten record now Premier league are left with only one unbeaten team which is Tottenham Hotspur and I much believe that the will fight hard to maintain the standard, arsenal lost yesterday is a big disaster for them because it have bring them back to fourth place in the table if Liverpool win or draw and am much confidence that Liverpool will win the match due to their current form, now Arsenal are to battle for the top four to qualify for the Champions league next season because if Liverpool end up winning then is left for them to start struggling for the position.

Today has seem unlucky for Aston villa as despite all their play they were unable to secure a win from the home they ended with no point the home team Nottingham were able to secure the complete three points at the end of the game today.

Although Aston villa still remains at the fifth position with twenty two point, Nottingham has be able to move to the 12th position with thirteen points , it's indeed a good day for Nottingham despite the fact that they seemed Aston villa played better but they had the points. According to stats, Aston villa led the ball possession and also had more goal attempts than Nottingham but the two halves was won by the home team.

With bookies putting Aston Villa as the favorites of the game with an odd of 1.86 for them, no one expected that turnaround and a quick goal from Ola Aina in the 5th min, it seemed a bleak day for Unai Emery and his men. Truly, in terms of possession and shots, Aston had the upper hand and even until the end they tried to see if they could gain a goal to cancel Nottingham's clean sheet, but it ended up being fruitless. This goes to show that football can be really unpredictable at times.
 With this win, it will boost Nottingham's morale because for one they managed to secure three points at home and also blocked the chances of Aston Villa thrashing them as the visitors are known to do with other clubs. Atleast they (Forest) have paused Aston from climbing 4th had they won. To me  I just see this as a highlight, because the game most football lovers are anticipating now is Tottenham Chelsea game tomorrow as that would decide if Man City will claim the 1st spot or will drop.

This was Arsenal's first defeat in the EPL this season and in the match against Newcastle, Arsenal suffered a lot. Even though there are several incidents that should be ratified and that should not be ratified. The mentality of a team is really crucial and coming from a poor run of form last season, coupled with the takeover of the club, the change of coaches that has affected the team’s mental state, against Arsenal where they had a 2-2 draw. Chelsea FC went into that match with a winning mentality and that showed in the way they took charge of the game both in possession and otherwise, though there were errors that led to them settling for a point but what we shouldn’t drive away is the morale and mentality of the team in that match.

There’s no small team anymore in the Premier League anymore as any team could pose a heavy threat and with low mentality of the Chelsea players it’ll be a tough run for them. They’re expected to give the PL their all since they aren’t in any European competition this season, the addition of Cole Palmer was a sweet difference to the team, we can’t shy away from that fact but Cole Palmer won’t be seen in all positions of the field as it’s a game of 11 players.

Eddie Howe defeated Mikel Arteta with solid game style and he's has been successful this season mostly against elite teams. Newcastle handled Arsenal first defeat of the EPL season. Losing is part of the game but it was too soon for Arsenal to against Newcastle unplanned. That was absolutely not the results they wanted but they got good chances of equalizing the game but couldn't invade the formidable defendlines of the hometeam. Newcastle United was prepared for Arsenal at St James Park.  The Magpies tackled and sealed every area on the pitch without giving breathing space for the visitors.

Today's match wasn't fine due to how they made the goal decision. I was under the impression that Arsenal either won or drew, and because of self-interest, VAR cheated Arsenal by making a fictitious ruling.

In the initial VAR check for a possible ball outside the line, they act as though they saw nothing. In the second VAR check for a potential foul on Gabriel, the third VAR check for a potential offside, and the entire official team allowed the goal to stand. However, I'd like to know why they didn't let the referee go check on his own?

To be honest, I didn't watch this intense match and seeing the oddity of the VAR decisions made me a bit disappointed with this best league. VAR should be more careful in making decisions and they give the impression that they only benefit one party. They never learn like before and they still defend controversial decisions in this heated match. VAR was also carried out 3 times and took a lot of time, of course the players were very annoyed with this decision, especially the Arsenal players. Even Mikel Arteta was very disappointed with VAR's decision and expressed his anger by saying

Yesterday I watched the match and I screamed that it was really unfair and I even commented on the live streaming several times even though it was useless but it showed my disappointment with the referee's decision and many were disappointed by this unfair decision which should have ended in a draw to win for Newcastle.
I don't know why, over the years, the Premier League has repeated unfair decisions made by the referee every time there is a violation, which makes Premier League club fans a little disappointed with this situation and there should be action from other parties to fix this, even though I am not an Arsenal fan, but I feel disappointed. Liverpool have been struggling to get a goal from the difficult Luton side who are a headache  for then to beat in the first 45mins of the game and if Luton should continue that way in the second half Liverpool really have to dig deeper one way or another to break their defense to get a claim to claim the 3 points from this game which is very important for the Reds in determining their position on the table. The fact that a lot of Manchester United fans are celebrating their narrow win against Fulham yesterday I think tells how much the club has declined in form over the years and how the club fans are now very comfortable with the struggles that the team is currently passing through.
During the days of Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, winning games against a team like Fulham was never a problem or a big deal but the club's general poor performances since he left the club in 2013 has got the fans used to being an average English Premier League team. The club management I think has really been poor with their management over the years and doesn't deserve to continue with the club.

This game is not only crucial for Tottenham to win but also an important game for Chelsea because they lost their last premier league home game to Brentford which brought them down in the table and if they eventually lose this game against their opponent team Tottenham, that will definitely not mean well for the manager Pochettino and the entire club. Manchester United wins but doesn't convince! I believe that this year will be a very tough championship for them to face, due to history and tradition Manchester United are not used to playing these matches suffering so much! they won and I hope for them that these 3 points bring serenity and perhaps give awareness of their true strength during the next matches

Manchester united had an unconvincing win today, although one of their goals was cancelled, they still didn't give out a domineering performance that will make us understand they are probably on the track to improvement it was just an average performance out there.

Manchester united may have to further win some more games consistently before we could get that conviction that they are improving and fortunately the season hasn't gone halfway yet so it more like they have still got some more time on their side to still do much. Ten hag should see how to improve their performance because I don't see any better performance today, if the perform this way against bigger team they may not have same result but then let's hope they get better after this win.

I think just like you, Manchester United are far from a physical form that can guarantee them to perform well on the pitch, initially the problem was the defense and many blamed Onana, but honestly I think the biggest problem The midfield is great and is unable to guarantee a constant filter to the opposition's incursions, despite having excellent players in midfield. In as much as I'm not supporting bad refereeing, we must also be frank enough to tell ourselves the truth no matter the club that's concerned. There are some decisions that since the introduction of VAR the referee doesn't have a final say on and the incident that happened during Newcastle game against Arsenal yesterday was one of them.
We can't be smarter than the line technology that detects when the ball is totally out of the line and as we all know, the ball is only deemed to have crossed the line when all part of the line is over the ball and the during the VAR check yesterday, it was obvious that little part of the ball was still on the line.

Nottngham Forrest finished the match by ensuring a 2-goal victory without reply. Notingham Forest played very well and also they played very effectively, and they could reduce the game played by Aston Villa. Just imagine that Aston Villa actually dominated the match, but they were unable to score a single goal against Nottingham Forest. Aston Villa was really frustrated by the host, because they repeatedly tried to attack and they were always deadlocked. Instead Nottingham Forrest can take advantage of every opportunity they get into a goal.
