I was going to say this would be a very difficult task but, for a player like Cristiano Ronaldo,  nothing is impossible. He's a kind of player that has always got his eyes on the goal so, being top scorer is possible.

Chelsea Romero Lukaku has just net a goal, wonderfully placed. What was more amazing about it was the pass from M. Kovacic, the drive and eye sight was amazing from where he was. Aston Villa isn't having much of a bad play so far, they've tested the Chelsea defense a few times but, that's one of Chelsea best play, defense. I really don't see them scoring a goal in this game, its going to be Chelsea all the way.

Chelsea justed scored a well finished goal from Lukaku with assist from Kovačić. Hope they keep up.with the victory. I hope to see more goals fly in . It seems Kante isnt still fit yet. Kovačić is doing a perfect replacement but we need our Kante back to his feet soon the season is just too early to be on injury

I don't think Ronaldo could have hoped for a better return, and I'm pretty sure Manchester United fans have already started dreaming of the possibility of being EPL champions after a very long time, as for Ronaldo being the highest goal scorer at the end of the season, it is very possible, we all know how lethal Ronaldo is in front of goal, he has proved to be a goal machine in all of his previous teams, thus he is definitely going to be contender for the golden boot if things go according to plan.

Ronaldo has the ability to lift a teams moral, after watching todays match, I can say that Ronaldo gave the red devils a psychological boost and if that continues, then other title contenders really have to beware, it's going to be an amazing season in the EPL.

It's a been a very entertaining first half and Chelsea is beating Aston Villa by a goal down. I never expected the sort of action I'm getting from Aston Villa, they are playing all they could but, its converting there chances to a goal that has been a big difficulty for them. Chelsea has made very silly stakes that could have cost them 2 goals, its just Aston Villa not taking them chances plus, E. Mendy and T. Silva has been saving the day.

H. Saul is one player hlthat haven't been much in this game, more and more of the errors have been coming from his side. He has to keep his head down and get into the team, it might be his first game but, he ought to be professional about his touches.

Yes Chelsea vs Aston Villa the score is still 1-0 and in my opinion Aston Villa didn't play badly in attack also quite well and looked towards the end of the first half, and only Chelsea goalkeeper E Mendy was perfect in keeping his goal well and was able to parry a few attacks from Aston Villas.

I'm increasingly convinced that Ronaldo will take over the EPL top scorer candidate because his closest competitor Kane has not played optimally
also a bit surprised to see Tottenham lost by 3 goals whatever the reason, of course this is embarrassing.

Most of all, I liked the result of the first half (relative to Ronaldo) - he practically did not have a single chance, but he was able to make a goal out of nothing. From the outside it looks like magic. I don't think he will be competing for the top 1 scorers this season, but he will surely score a lot of important goals.

I see Arsenal is back at winning, congrats to these lads and I was non other than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang winning it for Arsenal with a final score of 1-0.

Its not really an achievement and they should have win it because both of those teams are losing three times in a row. Norwich had a pretty bad start this season and so does Arsenal however Arsenal could only win by scoring 1 goal was pretty much telling me how bad Arsenal currently is.

I don't watch the Spurs game but, it was so disappointing what I saw on the scoreline. Very sure I would be viewing there replay but, Tottenham been beaten 3 goals to nothing by Crystal Palace was a lot.

One thing that has helped him to be this good is the fact that, he challenges himself at all point. In every transfer that comes through for him, his got something to prove to himself and as such, he plays to make every game count. Perhaps the trophy might be far from him this season but, not the top scorer.

Chelsea game still on and it's now 2 goals advantage for Chelsea. Tuchel has been really instrumental to it all as he knows his boys and making the right substitute. With Saul out, you can see the game going smoothly and Aston Vialla not getting that chance like in the first half.

Why not ? Ronaldo just needs a little adjustment it's normal for new players to join over time they will understand each other so it's only a matter of time
As we know there are 3 candidates for top scorer Kane, Lukaku and Ronaldo so far only Ronaldo stands out and he started with 2 goals.

What a great game it was for Manchester United! It was Ronaldo's first game with the team and we watched him as a centre-forward. I expected him to play as a left-winger actually like the old days. But then, it came to my mind that they had Sancho there.    Still, it was awesome to watch Ronaldo scoring two goals in his first game already. Yeah, maybe the goals were really easy but he scored them in the end. Manchester United fans were just delighted with his performance. And I have no doubt that this was what they hoped for Ronaldo to do.

Aston Villa actually played amazingly too but many missed opportunities that were created, just look at the statistics of the match, Chelsea 57% while Aston 43%. Chelsea is currently in 2nd place in the standings after Manchester United.

I really saw great excitement from Ronaldo fans as well as Manchester United fans today. His idol player managed to score 2 goals on his debut for a team that has made a name for itself and today all doubts about Ronaldo's appearance for Manchester United paid off.

Starting with Ronaldo's goal at the end of the first half, Manchester United managed to press Newcastle harder in the second half to create 3 other goals. Ronaldo was simply stunning and all the praise seemed natural for him today. By the way, I was treated to a meal today by Ronaldo fans as an overflow of joy. LOL

We may see a competitive game tomorrow between these two teams. Liverpool is favourite but Leeds United players are good to maintain the dominance in the games. And they match will be played in their (Leeds) home field. I think we will see a draw match between them. Liverpool have the possibility of winning as well.

They did huh! Lol, football fans can be so passionate and enthusiast about the players they like an enjoy, same is there critic when you ain't playing what they expect of you. Anyway, today was a special game and Ronaldo made it about himself by scoring a brace coupled with the fact that, its his first game after his return in Manchester United. I'm sure the fans anticipation on the league trophy is all up now, lol. When it comes to the league trophy, I'm not sure but, Ronaldo would be focused on the top scorer now and Lukaku just made it more difficult by scoring a brace in today's game.thats what he was bought for actually and so far, his playing the part. His not Ronaldo's equal anyway!

It's still much better for Arsenal to have won the game with Norwich because this was indeed the first winning debut after a very sad losing streak, maybe it's a bit of a relief for Arteta to have brought 3 points for his team.

There is no other hope except that he can change how his team can win continuously, maybe this can also be motivated for his players to be more tough, although I also saw the match was much worse, but at least this is still lucky enough.

Lol, they @Arsenal finally got 3 points of 4 games after 3 consecutive disappointments. Well, its how the fans have been known to keep home in the team over the years. Anyway, I don't still see them coming up to the top5 no matter how they try, they aren't just good enough to maintaining any stats as it is.

Just a single goal scored against Norwish City, that is just a poor performance from Arsenal, they were just lucky to win today, just a single goal since the start of this season EPL. You are very right to me too, nothing like first five position for arsenal this season even if they try and make it up to the first 10 which I am still doubting.

Just like I am expecting, Chelsea won again.

I'm glad to see Ronaldo scoring 2 goals already in his first official match at Manchester United. And I'm also happy to see that Arsenal won a match in the league finally. It was by 1-0 but a win is a win in the end. As they were in a terrible form, it is totally normal to see that they didn't get a comfortable win. But they still don't seem trustworthy to me. Their next match is going to be against Burnley and it is an away match. Let's see their next performance.
