It is true that Chelsea aren't mainly in need of a defender from now on after signing Kalidou Koulibaly. However they still seem like eager to bring another defender. I agree with you, @Gianluca95, that Chelsea had better try to sign a good striker now. Broja, Werner and Batshuayi are the forwards in the team at the moment. I wouldn't make do with these players as none of them makes me confident. Chelsea should find a striker like Manchester City have found. They should be ready to spend whatever amount of money they need to.

At least there is still captain César Azpilicueta who was previously rumored to be joining Barcelona but in fact the transaction did not happen and also, there is an addition in attack like Raheem Sterling who has good pace too. Two defender's left Chelsea right, so they have to replace those yow defender's.

This morning I watched Chelsea pre season match against with Club America and success win 2-1, in Chelsea line up on second half still have César Azpilicueta and he still as captain team for Chelsea. I think depending he has played for Cehlsea on pre season match will make César Azpilicueta keep extended with Chelsea or playing for Barcelona. Nowadays not have rumors or Barcelona official announcement to get César Azpilicueta from Chelsea, just Barcelona active in wo dow transfer with forward position.

that's true, I also believe that Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United and even after the arrival of the new coach of Manchester United Ten Hag after a serious conversation between Ronaldo and Ten Hag came the news that Ronaldo will be the coach's top priority to lift Manchester United's performance that way I believes Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United even though next season will not play in the Champions League.

Yeah i agree chelsea team are in need for a good striker personaly i don't like the three they have now even werner performance is usually off, their performance yesterday against club america was average especially in the first half i think thats because they played with a lot of new players, they need to show more in order to take a place on chelsea squad.

Ronaldo wants to leave Man United because he still has ambitions to play in the Champions League and possibly wants to win the trophy with the team he will play for. Unfortunately, none of the clubs that play in the Champions League seem to really want to sign him. So I think it's time for Ronaldo to accept the reality and he has to act more mature and should put his ego aside. Man United has a very big role in Ronaldo's football career and with their current condition (which has not won a trophy for a long time), then this is the time for Ronaldo to return the favor to Man United.

After his attempt to move from Manchester United was unsuccessful, Ronaldo had to accept reality and had to be ready to play in the Europa League. Ronaldo was unable to realize his ambition because no club was interested in signing him, Chelsea, which was most often rumored to be Ronaldo's next destination, did not show any serious intention to sign him from Manchester United. Koulibaly is good for their defense but their attacking system has problems to score goals. They can create opportunities but can not score many goals from opportunities. The rate to convert expected goals to real goals is very low.

In many matches in last season, Tuchel had to use Havertz in striker position that sucks. Werner and Lukaku fails with a striker position so Tuchel had to change tactics. I don't think he will like to do it in a new season. A good striker who can adapt with Tuchel tactics is important. Chelsea did not play too bad last season but in a new season, they must do it better to get titles. Playing well and playing well enough to win titles are different.

Ronaldo is possible but Neymar is impossible. I don't think Neymar will take risk and join Premier League. He knows he can get injuries there with his favorite with dribbling. Premier League is very seriously with tackles and personal face to face fightings. Neymar is more fitting with La Liga and Serie A, not Premier League or Ligue 1 with too many powerful players.

Azpilicueta wants to get more possibility to play when the World Cup is very close. At his old age, this World Cup will be the last for him so he does not want to miss it if he stays in Chelsea.

I think there is another reason that he feels the need to find another club e.g. mismatch between players he hasn't found the right partner
So he thinks the performance is not optimal because of that or maybe there is another reason we don't know.

Still in terms of compatibility or whatever he would still be very difficult to leave now that he hasn't even tried the scheme Ten Hag wants to implement for next season.
I'm quite aware that this is still a risk for Ronaldo who wants to be competitive and play in a higher league but if he continues to insist on changing clubs with whatever he wants it's definitely not too good for him in my opinion especially there are some big clubs who have given up also got it.

I don't know why it seems that the news for Ronaldo in my opinion is too exaggerated.
Indeed in this case he says he wants to be in a higher competition and will join a club that he thinks is suitable but in this case I don't look at all the teams that are in the Champions League because obviously he also has his own criteria there.
A lot of the news is made up like when he said he was going to Barcelona just because Jorge Mendes went to Barcelona whose main purpose was to talk about B. Silva.

I had same in mind you know, if Ronaldo really did all of this to make  manchester united way serious with the recruiting of new players.
It has been a highly unrecommended and unprofessional Ronaldo since the start of the news, refusing to join tour games and also training ahead of the pre season. He can still make a u turn and come back to the squad who knows. If that happens with the mentality already in the team Manchester United can achieve a trophy or two this time around.

Having Lisandro Martinez in defense is a sign of their seriousness and the presence of a creative and experienced midfielder like Eriksen will also be a plus for Manchester United next season.
With this there is some great hope and it remains only to be clear. Certainty about Ronaldo now is whether he still wants to make something interesting at Manchester United or still wants to go to another club.

But if there is no team interested in him seriously then I also think that he shouldn't make things harder for himself and Manchester United also. Ronaldo isn't an unprofessional player in the end. He must respect Manchester United's values and his great years here. It started to seem like he will stay here so he had better collect himself and focus on his game. In this case I see something else because now that Lisandro Martinez is there the chances for Varane are slim now.
Apart from his not-so-good performance, Varane is also experiencing more problems in his legs at this time and indirectly when Martinez arrives, his little chance is getting smaller.
Maguire doesn't seem to be bothered although I don't really like this because if I'm not mistaken Ten Hag will still give him the title of captain.

Manchester United made the right decision by taking this approach. And I am also happy to say that they are not obsessing over bringing in attackers to the team. Seems like they finally understood that the attackers will not be able to do too much by themselves if there is not enough supply from the midfield. Additionally, the defense is quite weak. This is a really smart transfer for Manchester United. And for some reason, I am also starting to think, what if Manchester United are planning to give Harry Maguire the captaincy in the next season? Because if they do, they will just be playing with fire.

Guardiola will not face any problems for Oleksandr Zinchenko, if he leaves the team. Because Oleksandr Zinchenko is not an important player for Manchester City. But I think Guardiola should strengthen his defense. While he brought in talented players like Haaland to strengthen the forwards, he did not do enough to strengthen the defense. Manchester City needs an experienced defender now.

Am surprised you did rate the Ukrainian International Oleksandr Zinchenko down this way. I consider him one of the best talents in the Manchester City squad. Let's face the fact, his got skill, speed and some shot power to support. Last season was a very hard time for him, with the on going war in his nation with Russia and the distress it would put him in, his sure not to be in his best but, his by far one of the best talents in Manchester City. Perhaps this is some deal to stimulate Arsenal to release Saka for them.
Let's not forget, R. Sterling and G. Jesus have left the team on transfer so, the options isn't as before and this could mean trouble for the bench.

Manchester City is full of great players right now and it does feel like Manchester City does not need Oleksandr Zinchenko at this moment. But I don't deny that he has got skills. His skills are really good. But that is not something that Manchester City needs right now. And if he plays for any other team he will be able to get a lot more play time compared to what he got at Manchester City.

I don't understand why he says Zinchnko is a very important player in Manchester City. I don't really understand how he measured his importance. Someone that is not a first team player cannot be that important to a club.
Saying why Guardiola is more interested in his attack than the defence could be his pattern of play. He believes that if he can score 4 - 5 goals evey match, it will be difficult for the opposition to equalize such goals. Besides while playing any club, Manchester City always has the larger possession. So Manchester City is not a defensive club.

He is a good player. Maybe he will also be a very important player in any other team but not in Manchester City right now. Because Manchester City has a lot of better players compared to him. It's all about the necessity and he is not needed in the City at this moment.  But I am sure he will be a valuable asset for other teams. And I also think that Manchester City is going to play aggressive football in the next season because that's how they are shaping the time right now.

Guardiola works very well with the squad, he has the opportunity to have several equal players in each position in the team, so yes, the departure of Zinchenko from the team will not be a big problem for Manchester City, but the departure of a player of this level will still be noticeable. In the end, there are no irreplaceable players, everyone can eventually be replaced, especially since this will not be a problem for a team with such financial capabilities as City.

I believe that Manchester City has a really good score right now and the main squad which they have is really good. But even the main squad of Manchester City can be easily rotated. So I don't think they will have to worry too much about a certain player leaving the club. Manchester City is going to play aggressive football in the upcoming season and they have the perfect squad for that in my opinion.
