Chelsea are still determined to sign another centre-back even though they aren't in need of such player immediately now. They are searching for a starting eleven player obviously. In case their plans to sign Kounde don't work then there are many options on the table. These options are Pau Torres, Milan Skriniar, Josko Gvardiol, Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard. It would be really difficult for them to pick one of them. By the way I don't think that Bayern Munich would let Upamecano go after completing the duo with him and de Ligt in defense.

What is certain for the two places in one and two will be dominated by Manchester City and Liverpool, well the competition for the two places below it will probably be a long competition throughout the season. I am going to agree with @hahay, because I know the English Premier League is the most competitive in the whole world right now. But I also think that Liverpool is better than Arsenal and Chelsea. I don’t think Arsenal and Chelsea have what it takes to beat Liverpool even though Arsenal had made some big changes in the team.

They are obviously a lot stronger than before. But I still think that Liverpool is going to be in the top 2. Now, am I doubt that decision? Yes of course I am. But at the same time, I also have good confidence that Manchester City and Liverpool are going to finish in the top two.

You may be right about Barcelona giving away frenkie de jong to Manchester United. Many teams do want him but can all the other teams drop a bid on the table like Manchester United can? Firmino has spend his time in the bench during last season and his contract will be expired on 2023 so if Liverpool aren't sell him then next season he will be free agent status unless Firmino extended his contract and for his position on the team Liverpool already have Diogo Jota or Luis Diaz so Firmino already lost his place in Liverpool starting lineup and losing him aren't big problem for Liverpool and i know he is a part of Liverpool team while this team get many trophies especially Premier League trophy but everything is change now because he isn't Klopp main priority again and Juventus were very serious want him so i think it's time for him to think about offers from other clubs
