Manchester City team was considered to be the most favorite team to win the Premier League next season. But their performance against Liverpool was not as expected. Although it was a friendly match. However, both teams played with their main squads. I am not saying that Manchester City played badly. But, Liverpool's match strategy and gameplay were more organized than Manchester City's. Especially Liverpool's Darwin Nunez and Salah's performances were good.

I didn't think Man City would lose either. Liverpool dominated the game more, their playmakers were more creative. As for Man City, I agree that Man City have not been able to perform well in this pre-season. Halaand has also not shown to be the best striker. Their players also look unable to mix. I think the stats are inferior to Nunez's. Indeed, this is only pre-season maybe they are not serious yet and are still careful not to get injured. The score of 3-1 I think is too big a gap.

Give him time. Missing a few opportunities in a first official match for a new club is not the end. Haaland is very strong and he will score goals again. He has an excellent career from Malmo, Salzburg to Dortmund and will continue it in Manchester City and Premier League.

Haaland did not have good connections with other players in Manchester City but time will help him to improve it. Manchester City has many smart midfielders and they can provide good key passes to Haaland. They just need more time to find each other and play better together.

It is so weird that the league is already starting this weekend. In the recent Charity shield game it was visible that the players aren't yet on the needed level - they will probably need a few weeks to get there.

It might be a good opportunity to look for some surprises in the early games - like West Ham against City for example.

I'm glad we are starting the season on a high although the Charity shield is basically meaningless, but any win against City counts for something and this one comes with a trophy attached to it.

Since the line-up of the two teams was shown, I saw some differences in some Manchester City players who were not played from the start like Phil Foden, as well as Liverpool. It was Jurgen Kloop who didn't play Darwin Nunez, but Pep Guardiola started Erling Haaland from the start. Therefore, I predict Liverpool will win the Community Shield.

From the time the referee blew the whistle the match started until the first half ended, Klopp looked quite calm without the slightest hint of panic on his face.

From the start of these rumors, I actually doubted that Firmino would accept an offer from Juventus. But it goes back to Liverpool's decision, whether they will keep it or vice versa. No doubt surprising result for many because no one was expecting Liverpool will play like this and destroy Manchester City in first game of new season because they are heavily favorite for title and with the signing of few quality players mostly fans were feeling they will be on top from first day of this new season, but team were not near on their best and Haaland were kinda nerves in his first game in English Premier League.

Now this is big shock, and now they have to do much better in coming days if they want to stay at top otherwise they can go down with few teams are also in good quality, and they can through back them out of title race like Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea these all are fully loaded with lethal attacks and quality defense.

Arteta bringing some good changes in Arsenal with having few quality players and also bringing good changes in players mindset which is amazing development in this team after few years even they lost in last few rounds in last season and ends at fifth spot but still this is amazing record from them after having the worst start of last season, and now they are surely in good touch with having few quality players and team mentality is also positive which is big development with this all we can expect a good result and end of this season from them.

Even still these all are predictions and for real result we have to wait for some more time, but things are favoring they could be in good shape and having good results in this coming season after very long time.
