As you must have heard, Roberto Firmino is rumoured to leave Liverpool in the summer and join Juventus side after. But I see that Jurgen Klopp doesn't care about the rumours going around. He might be intending to still keep him in the squad even though they have brought Darwin Nunez. Maybe he is doing this because they won't have any alternative striker left for Nunez. Actually they have Jota too who can play as a striker but it is up to his thinking of course.

With the option of three striker which is always chosen by Jurgen Klopp, they still need Roberto Firmino as a replacement, so I have a little doubt that Firmino's departure will get the club's approval. For now they need at least three backup strikers and the departure of Divock Origi further reduces that position.

Liverpool have not see a new striker other than Nunez, and it looks like they don't even intend to bring another striker. I believe Roberto Firmino will be retained.

As you said, Liverpool will start with a Diaz - Nunez - Salah trio. This leaves Jota and Firmino as rotation options and selling Firmino would leave them a player short. They could fill the vacancy with Elliott and Carvalho, but they need experience in key moments of the season and Firmino has that in abundance.

Manchester City have bought 2 players this season, That's Haaland and Kalvin Phillips. While one of the others was brought in for free from Arminia Bielefeld and the rest were players who had ended their loan period. So with this I don't expect much change in the Manchester City squad even though 4 important players are move out to other team.



Another interesting thing is that Newcastle, who were bought by rich people last season, didn't spend a lot of money in the market, they only bought a few players, and even then they weren't stars. Is that a form of prudence?

With loads of preparation that the various clubs have ptu in against the coming season, Liverpool has shown to a great extent some resistance and build-up for the team to aid they coming top in the next season after their early mistake in the last season that resulted in Liverpool coming second

Christiano Ronaldo just announced he is back to Manchester United,  he will be playing the friendly match against Rayo Vellecano on Sunday. After all the delays looking for club to move to but he finally made decision to stay back . It is a great news for Ronaldo to be in Manchester united for next season.

Actually, in this case I can say that Julian Alvarez is also a new player because even though he was bought last January, he was immediately loaned without playing at City and only made his debut at this time, specifically against Club America in their friendly match.
As for those who leave City like Sterling or Gabriel, they are not really needed now, especially for the attack line, considering that with Haaland there is a clear chance for Gabriel to lose and City are not too bothered by that.

No, I don't compare new season with Chelsea's friendly games, I know for a fact that Chelsea won't be a contender this season, just like last season. They have no chance to finish the league in Top 3. I can make any bet for you that it's not gonna happen. Chelsea is not even a minor threat to Liverpool or Arsenal, let alone Manchester City. They are lucky if they can pass Tottenham to be honest. I don't call Manchester United and Chelsea as league title contenders at all. They are nowhere near same level as Manchester City, which is the obvious favorite again.

Klopp has already started his mind games and the season hasn’t even yet kicked off, I really don’t get why a coach would be complaining about the fixed time of a match that was announced long time ago, I don’t think the mind game would work for him this time around, both team really had a difficult pre season and I think The Liverpool manager should just focus on the match

Manchester City didnt need to buy more players honestly. These two were enough for them. They already have a team built ,so Halland in attack was a perfect fit and yet again they are the favorites to win the title. Wierd for me aswell that Newcastle didnt get some superstars but they are still carefull at who they pick

Last season in the Bundesliga was one of the most problematic seasons for Haaland as he spent almost half a game there struggling with injuries.
This must be corrected because obviously the EPL is a league with a higher pace than the Bundesliga so when he is still the same as before then this will be very dangerous for City and even for his own Career.

Most chances Liverpool and Klopp not allowed this transfer because if this happens then surely they could be in trouble, or they have to search for replacement which is currently not good for them, they have Nunez so this not mean now they will do wholesale changes in their squad which can create mess up and this could be not good for them at all. Roberto Firmino is in good shape and done good job in last season with this Juventus offer is also not enough for Liverpool to let him go.

If in case he asked to leave then maybe we will have some announcement but most chances it's not going to happen because he is feeling good here and with his form and performance he can do much better than in the past.

There is no doubt we are going to have tough competition for top rank and this is not easy game for any club right now Chelsea is having few issues in last season and right now they are still having same because change of management is having serious trouble for them with Tuchel is already complaining about this, but new management is still not giving required funds which are not good for team and their performance in the future.
 
They have few quality players but after watching preparation from other English clubs look like they are far behind and can face serious problems because in current season we have good work in transfer market by Tottenham and Arsenal which are tough challenger for them and can put them out of top four race.

Last season we saw Real Madrid beat Liverpool to win the Champions Trophy. However, Manchester City will be ahead as the favorite team this season.

Manchester City is having tag of favorite team in Champions League in every season, and they never won this in last few years even having strong enough squad mean just having star players is never been guarantee to win any trophy they need good team combination and understanding between players which will be happened after play few matches.

With the arrival of Eric Haaland most peoples feeling now they could be more strong and favorite in Champions League maybe this is true but still this is not guarantee to win this trophy because in last season we already watch Real Madrid won this without too many star players just good combination and better strategy give them this chance, and they avail with PSG, Manchester City and Bayern Munich with list of too many star players fail in this event.

Pre-season games don't show too many things about a team that's for sure. For example, people have been criticizing Nunez's performance in friendlies too much. However people shouldn't forget that they are just unofficial games that don't mean a lot. People should just focus on the new season now and wait for the teams to show their real power. After watching some games in the season we can have a much clearer opinion about the teams and the players all.
