Arsenal have made it 0:2, the pressure was too much and Guehi of Crystal Palace scored an own goal to give the gunners the comfortable lead. I think the game is over for Crystal Palace because it's 90 minutes already so Arsenal are on top of the table so far, what a great game for Arsenal, a very good start to the season getting two away goals without conceding any goal, congratulations to the gunners for  making us proud tonight.

Arsenal have broken the hoodoo that always makes them loose their first match.Last season, Brendfort flogged them 2-0 at the beginning of the season,and that affected them for about four more games.But now,they have defeated Crystal palace and claimed the three points which put them ahead in the premier league table.

No doubt the season is going to be fine for Arsenal who has not won their first two EPL games in a very long time. This winning shows that they came prepared and they have learned to start running very early in order to get there before others and I believe they don't want what happened last season starting from their first game defeat by the then promoted team Brentford to repeat again and they have shown notable improvement by winning convincingly against Crystal Palace tonight.

At last, Arsenal will finally win this match, having 2 goals now, own goal by Marc Guehi. It 90 minutes already, the match will soon finish.

It is not the best result for this match and I am not that happy with the result. Crystal Palace has started this season with suffering and at the end the other team will win. Arsenal doesn't deserve the 2 goals in the favour.  1 goal to nill or 2 goals to 1 or preferably 1:1 would have been a good score tonight. But it is unfortunate for the Palace boys but a beautiful night for the gunners.

Hate it or Love it, the best side tonight won the game. Arsenal was the better side, played composed, coordinated and brilliant football.
The first half was much in favor of the gunner's seeing a well planned set piece from the gunner's that was converted by Gabriel Martineli.

Gabriel Martineli scoring today, made him the first ever Brazilian to score at the start of the Premier League kick off. The last time the premier league saw a South American player doing that was from Luis Suarez which was decades ago.

Big Applause to the Gunner's, Palace pressing hard to get a goal but all efforts were simply worthless as the Emirates kept sheet.

Honestly I'm not so sure about this match, Arsenal did manage to secure 3 points but based on statistics Crystal Palace dominates
This means Arsenal have not achieved a significant improvement but yes I understand maybe some of the players still need adjustment
And I can't predict Arsenal's chances this season especially before facing other strong teams.

Given that he is likely to stay in the team for at least one more season, the replacement means nothing. Apparently Ronaldo didn't find a team that would suit his needs and decided to stay, hmmm, not surprising

If it's like Jamie Carragher's statement, I can interpret that it wasn't Ronaldo who didn't find the club he wanted, but the big European clubs who didn't want to have him.

There is a possibility that Ronaldo will be substituted for the match against Brighton & Hove Albion even though Cristiano is fit. Erik ten Hag is rumored to be setting up a trio of RMS considering that Rashford, Martial and Sancho have all looked so promising during the pre-season tour.

This was certainly not a turn of events Ronaldo was expecting. I'm sure it wasn't in his plans to be number two and sit on the bench watching this trio play and rejoice. Yep, it is a good start for Arsenal although this match doesn't look very convincing for Arsenal. If we consider the stats, actually Crystal Palace can give a good challenge for Arsenal, they made the number of total shots and shots on target. Even, Crystal Palace was leading the ball possession. Considering the stats, I think Arsenal needs to improve their midfielders' performance. They may be lucky to win in this match, but they may be in trouble if they can't improve the domination of ball possession in the next match.

Haters will not leave arsenal alone...They started the season well and were ruthless in preseason destroying teams with reckless abadon including chelsea.
They have recruiting the best players and with a strong bench now.. Defensively they were strong as a unit...Kudo to Saliba, White and others.Was very impressed with Saliba however, very composed and looking like a great if he keeps it up. Good result for the gunners.... but sadly still seeing some age old challenges..... mental fragility at the core of the team.

Ball possession may give you more chance for sure but it's not all about it. Having more time with the ball is wasted if you're not clinical in front of goal. They can give the ball away 70% of the time but score when they have it and take three points is all that matters.

Crystal Palace couldn't even do much in the first half and their effort in the second half wasn't enough as well. Arsenal got a well-deserved win. After witnessing their horrible start to the previous season this was really nice to see. I appreciated Zinchenko also because he made an assist today. I hope to see Jesus starting to score soon as well.

The current Arsenal is just building up as a team for now. A lot of money has been poured into the current team, but a lot of money just won't work by itself. We just need constant coaching, players' sweat and blood. Arteta came out last year as a team coach who knows how to manage those players that he has available. This season he has been allowed a lot about the players. If he fails to take his chance, he may die as a coach. The Premier League is too competitive a league to provide extra chances.

Arsenal started the season very well by beating Crystal Palace, Arsenal did experience an increase in performance compared to the previous season.
Victory against Crystal Palace is a good step for Arsenal to get into the top 4. Crystal Palace is not an easy opponent, it can be seen from the match
statistics that Crystal Palace is indeed more dominating. But Arsenal's attack was much more effective and therefore Arsenal won the game,
even though Crystal Palace also created chances, but Arsenal's defense is pretty solid. So far Arsenal's performance has been satisfactory,

Crystal palace dominant the game from start to finish but they were unlucky with the outcome of the result, arsenal in the other hand won the game because they were more clinical in front of goal, I think if arsenal wants to win the league or collect a champions League spot from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur then they need more than saka and martinelli, the need another world class winger and a world class center back defender if not the will still go to Europa League because crystal palace outplayed them and could have won this game.

I mean being so great at the beginning ... and then got slipped at the end of the season , it's been a couple of seasons they are being so inconsistent , but you know with that kind pattern it's so nice to have them on my betting list every week! Lol the odds are huge and mostly underestimated them while they are on fire also overrrated when they are doing good like this while actually they won't last for long , mark my words

If we see from the statictis of the game, Crystal Palace actually gave a pretty strong resistance. It was proven that they were also able to shoot and also shot on target with the same number as Arenal. Likewise ball possession, they also quite handle it. However, Arsenal played quite effectively, with 2 shots on target they could hit both of them as goals. But yeah, I also though that Arsenal at least could score 3

Granit Xhaka got a yellow card at 44 minutes. Ben White got a yellow card at 60 minutes. Nathaniel Clyne got a yellow card at  64 minutes. Marc Guehi scored the second goal at 85 minutes of the game. From the above analysis, you can confirmed that Crystal Palace is not a weak team. I watched the march in GOTV and in the match I supported Crystal Palace and my bet ticket was cut.

at least this start is better than last season when they lost the first three matches, one against Brentford, Chelsea and man city, but this year they showed a different face from the friendlies by beating Chelsea 4-0 and Sevilla 6-0 and today in the first match of the Premier league beating Crystal Palace 2-0, I can definitely see Arsenal in the top 4 of the leader board at least by the end of this season.

Still nothing changed when the team had won at half time, they just played more defensively in the second half and didn't focus on scoring more goals. Except for the other big teams in different leagues as well, for Arsenal even though they were very good in pre-season but in fact they are still applying the same pattern which in my view they are basically satisfied with a 1-0 win at halftime. At least as reflected by the ball possession in the first half of 44% - 56% and the second half being 68% - 32%, it is clear that it is a big difference and this pattern will be dangerous when against a stronger team later.

Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 to begin their Premier League campaign. When Martinelli headed in a corner in the first half, they took advantage of their strong start. With time passing, Palace turned into a contest, with Edouard and Eze forcing Ramsdale into admirable saves. When Saka's cross was diverted in Guehi's direction, Arsenal managed to handle the pressure and secure the match with an own goal in stoppage time.

With their first three points of the year, Arsenal will be looking to continue their winning ways when they play Leicester City the following weekend.
