Apparently Manchester City will have a rival in the Champions race this year in the form of Arsenal, who to me have a better chance of winning the league than City. It's too early to say, of course, but it's all leading up to that. The fact that Jesus is not scoring I think is a matter of time, perhaps a period of drought, it is just as emotionally difficult for the player, he just needs to get over it

It's a great thing that Man City is having a proper tittle challenge this season even though regular contenders, Liverpool are off. But can Arsenal keep up with the pace of this? My major concern is there squad which lacks depth. I just hope they add quality players this winter transfer.

No player can play well without the help of a coach. Coach Ten Hag doesn't like Ronaldo. He is not interested in keeping Ronaldo in his squad. So Ronaldo is not able to adapt well to United's match tactics and players. The coach definitely needs help in match strategy and adapting to the players. But Ten Hag is not interested in cooperating with Ronaldo now. So we cannot blame Ronaldo alone for his poor performance this season.
But Rashford's performance this season has been truly commendable. Rashford managed just 4 goals and 2 assists in 25 Premier League matches last season. He scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 12 matches this season. He also scored 3 goals in 3 matches in Europe League. Rashford is in good form.

You might be right that Coaches confidence actually contributes to a players form. But current Ronaldo's form in front of goal is his own doing he failed to have a proper preseason with the team and couldn't get into the team easily. Also he looks eager to score which is also affecting his decision making. Lastly is his age, its high time we start to tell ourselves the truth that Ronaldo is nearing the end of his Illustrious Career and his goal scoring ability will get weaken. So I don't expect Ten Hag to build his squad around someone that will leave in 1-2 years time.

Arsenal didn't surprise anyone and met the expectations by far. This huge 5-0 win was very satisfying for them after a point loss against Southampton. However Gabriel Jesus has been silent so far. This is his fourth match in a row in the league that he doesn't score any goal. He still made a solid contribution with 2 assists in this match maybe. But Arsenal need him to start scoring also. Not all the matches will be this comfortable in the end. They will need him those times.

Gabriel Jesus need a boost in his confidence which seems to have dipped a little due to the goal drought. He played so well today and even missed ago chance. I think he will soon rediscover his goal scoring boats.

Meanwhile, Arsenal continue to amaze me, I do hope they continue to be consistent until the end of the season, they will definitely get some silverware.

Indeed, in this case there needs to be something that can make a boost to Gabriel's productivity but indeed this is still helped a little by the young Arsenal players who are quite good.
At first I didn't really like Arteta's decision to appoint Odegaard as captain there considering his very young age but indeed this season he seems to have answered my doubts about him and his performance has been very good.

Well, Manchester City is also under the same huge pressure and it is not yet a fact that they can handle this pressure better than Arsenal. Of course, Manchester City has been famous in recent years for being much more stable than its rivals, which Liverpool most often served, goes a long distance in the championship, but all series ever tend to end, all rules usually have exceptions, so it can happen this season. The delayed match between Arsenal and City made gunners getting the lead without a reassuring margin. 3 points is nothing and will not stand for long. The good part is that Arsenal is keeping winning and City made some mistakes but for how long could gunners keep the first place for themselves?

This is because of their lacking productivity about scoring goals. Maybe it is time for them to sign a much more reliable striker. But it doesn't seem easy for them to do this in January. I mean that it would be difficult to convince a top striker to sign for them in the middle of the season. But in the summer they had better solve this issue of the team.

The good part is that Arsenal is keeping winning and City made some mistakes but for how long could gunners keep the first place for themselves?

Who knows but we'll see as the season progresses and injuries to all team starts piling up. Those who have a deeper squad will grind out narrow wins on a weekly basis. I think Man City is better built for the entire season so they will likely take over before the year ends. It would be really impressive if Arsenal remains on top by that time.

For Manchester United 1:0 West Ham, I think we should give it to them on this one. Not like they did something spectacular but they did tried especially De Gea with all the saves. 2 great on target shorts and a good directional header from K. Zouma and De Gea was just there to put it out.

Another good header too was the goal from M. Rashford. Don't know which was even better, the cross from C. Eriksen or the header from M. Rashford. They got there win most of all and are now on top of Chelsea on the league table.

Arsenal from the start of this season have played very well and of course this can be a strong enough rival until the next half of the season.
But indeed there is little real difference with Arsenal because they metamorphosed from the clown team a few seasons before.
Now their young players are really doing really well and this makes them very different because apart from now they can compete they also have progress for their young players.

Arsenal pass nottinhham 5-0 and continue the promising performance , everyone would more believe to arsenal fall in the coming weeks rather than manchester city slipped. Things can be upside down as the pressure from manchester city gonna be really high .

I think scoring goals is something Manchester United needs to so something about maybe in the January transfer window. They really struggled to bag 3 points at the end of the day. It's hard to believe Liverpool have to swallow back-to-back defeats to a team they can beat on paper. I'm starting to smell something amiss inside the Reds. And it looks like Klopp is starting to lose the trust of his players. I used to think that Liverpool's decline in performance was due to many injured players, but now with a squad that can be said to be capable, they can actually be defeated by a small team who are struggling in the relegation zone.
If the situation does not improve, then Liverpool will be sinking. Before the World Cup break, the Reds will still face tough teams, Tottenham and Southampton.

It looks like what you're worried about doesn't really happen between Klopp and his players. I can still think about positive things about them even if you really want to speculate about the relationship between the coach and his players when the team lose points in 2 match in a row. Liverpool's bad form in their last 2 matches against relegation zone teams is not entirely Liverpool's fault, I mean why do you ignore the possibility of Nottingham and Leeds winning even if they look weak?

It never makes sense and it's never true if you always think that a top team like Liverpool will not lose a match whose opponent is weaker on paper but is too lucky and strong on the pitch.

Liverpool is just not playing well. They are facing some obvious problems. And I really don't think that these problems are going to be fixed anytime soon. Liverpool is not supposed to lose against these opponents. But somehow they are finding it really difficult to perform well and they cannot even imitate what they did in the last season.

Leeds United should be an easy opponent for Liverpool. But the problem is Liverpool is finding it very difficult to play consistently. Liverpool had a really good match against Manchester City. And that same Liverpool is losing against Leeds United. These things don't make sense to me for some reason.

Hell no, they're recently already sign Antony from Ajax for around $100Million, it's not worth to deserve another strikers since they're currently have 5 active strikers. You can look on other clubs, they only have 3-4 strikers only and it's much effective rather than those clubs who have many strikers. I think it's what it's, if Ten Hag think this current roaster doesn't enough, he need to make a big reshuffle.

Liverpool really can't maintain their consistency in maintaining their best performance. even when Liverpool lost to Nottm Forrest really shocked everyone. because throughout the game Liverpool continued to dominate the game. but Liverpool wasted a lot of opportunities. but against Ajax it turned out that Liverpool could win well. that is to get a win with 3 goals without reply. from the results of all these matches, we can see how inconsistent Liverpool are. and we see another inconsistent team is Chelsea. but Chelsea are a bit better with Graham potter as coach.

They are playing worst especially for chelsea. Potter looks so pathetic in that match caused by he was always doing rotation to team. He must also give the time for the new rotation to adapt with the situation before he will be changing it again. giving enough time to the all player is good but since he was doing rotation in any match and it has been making the player from chelsea is so difficult to adapt. The horrible performance has been showing by cucu and sterling. I can't even say any word when seeing that match.

Liverpool is having real troubles this year and i can't really get the reason of this, it's true that they sold mane to Bayer and he was a real maestro in the Liverpool squad but they also did some good transfers and I don't think the problem is in the squad, let's see what jorgen club can do in such situations
