Onana for 40-50mil is a good deal if we are being honest!! Also Onana is perfect fit for Manchester united judging by his success at Ajax with his former gaffer!!! And also looking at how Eric ten hag wants to play, they really need a goalie who is good with his feet and there are just little goalies who are better than him with the foot right now!!!

Wow, there might be pros and cons, but this is quite interesting. Basically, the number 7 is an iconic number and of course Man United will not give an iconic number to just anyone. The decision finally gave this number directly to the new player who was brought in from Chelsea. But of course, this will also be a separate pressure for Mason Mount to wear the number 7. But basically, the hope is that he can make a very good contribution to the team like the previous number 7.

Mason mount gonna have big burden caused by the club was interesting in signing him. The fact that if number 7 has become a special number in united. Manchester United and Liverpool are also ready to spend big to strengthen the squad. But it is not sure whether they will be able to play consistently well in the coming season. For next season I admit that Arsenal will try to put in a better performance after Arteta has improved his squad in this transfer window. No doubt Mason is a great player and I just wondered why Chelsea had to let him go. But in football and other sports, it is better to let a player move to where his heart is because he might not give his best if he is forced to remain in Chelsea. His last season in Chelsea was not encouraging because he was always sidelined by injuries and poor performance that made him play few games. He will be partnering with Bruno Fernandez to coordinate and bring the best out of the Manchester United squad.

Iconic club jersey numbers are always given to players that the club is predicting to make a big impact on the club. Mason Mount has signed a long-term contract and he is young which means that he would grow with the club. The club believes he deserves the number and he can do what other icons did.  Some critics are insinuating that he was given that honor not mainly because of his potential but due to his nationality. Mason Mount deal is done indeed and now I wonder who is next for the Red Devils. I think they should be going after a centre-forward from now on. Weghorst has returned to his team after his loan spell ended. He wasn't even a beneficial player for Manchester United. I think they should finally create a solution to this situation.

I wouldn't like to see any player being loaned. Instead they should go for a big transfer. They must be rich now so they can afford so many strikers now. Kane should be a starting point for them. As he would also be keen on staying in England he might want to lean towards a deal to them.

Liverpool already have players who can play in the number 9 position in firmino’s absence. Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo are both capable of playing in that position while Dias and Jota play on the left flank, there is no problem of getting a replacement for Firmino except Jurgen Klopp decides he needs an extra pair of legs to boost the depth of the squad but outside that I think Liverpool need to bring one or two defenders in this summer and they are good to go.

Liverpool can just add an additional player in attack that can be a backup for Gakpo.
What I think they really need now is a central defender. They are going after Levi Colwill but that will not come cheap. I don't believe he's worth the price but I also believe Liverpool should go for him. He is a very decent center back and he will make a very good pairing with whoever Klopp decides to pair him with at the back.

I also feel Liverpool needs another central midfielder to add to MacAllister and Szoboszlai. These two players and very good players that would defiantly strengthen Liverpool but I feel a third should be added. A player with equal quality so they have quality squad depth.

Anyone notice that farewell video wasn't made recently and that prove Mason Mount was never loyal to Chelsea and I doubt he'll have any loyalty for Manchester united, if he does very well and the like of Real Madrid comes calling, he'll pack up his bag and be on the next flight to Madrid. Mason Mount hair in the video and what he worn during his unveiling wasn't the same and that's why I feel he did the video few weeks back. Mason Mount been given the number 7 shirt isn't because of his footballing quality but for marketing purposes.

Mason Mount is a proper england favorite so he'll sell lots of shirt for Manchester united and get them their money back that they spent on him. That's very sad that De Gea is not under contract anymore with any team even after the achievements he got in Manchester United, De Gea is a great player and he is still in the situation to have good performance for his team while Manchester United is trying t stop working with De Gea and hire Onana instead of him mostly because of Ten Hag.

Manchester City is still the favorite to win the English Premier League this season; after all, the team has won it three years in a row, so what is stopping them this time?

Onana to United will be done for sure, it is not being done right now on technicality and small numbers, if United really wants him they will keep upping the bid until it is accepted, they just do not want to overpay for him. I mean what is the point in offering 80 million for a player that you can get for 50 million? So why not start with 30-35, and then work your way higher, maybe you can get him cheaper than 50 million.

These are all tough situations and I agree that it is not going to be easy but I bet that everyone would feel easier to just see it done, United fans can't wait for this to be done, they want to see the squad already, and yes we are barely in July but it is getting closer and potentially losing out on Onana feels terrifying of course now that De Gea is gone.

Yeah finally Manchester United got their first player this season somehow Mason Mount seems to be a special player for Manchester United, not only Erik Ten Hag even Manchester United management agreed to give number 7 to Mason Mount and in addition, the contract agreement will run for 5 seasons. I didn't say this was excessive but I wondered what made them very sure, do they think that Chelsea failed to increase the potential of this player and Erik Ten Hag who is able to do it?
We know Mason Mount is brought to increase their midfield which last season was not optimal it's just that I am worried that their expectations are too high, after all we have to wait for its performance in the first season there is no point in criticizing before seeing its performance, I hope he deserves to use a jersey number 7.

Mason Mount is the right signing to help improve Manchester United's form next season. I expect Ten Hag to really be able to make a good impact to re-open the title opportunity for Manchester United, but I know he needs support and time.
So far I am happy with the work he has done for Manchester United. The team has changed a lot to a better level, but it's clear that Ten Hag needs a lot of financial support to build a team that can compete with other contestants. It's not easy to compete with Manchester City, Arsenal and several others when Ten Hag doesn't get the proper support.

Well I won't be so sure about mason reaching up the shoes of that number 7 Jersey given to him but like everyone else I would like to be optimistic about his role to improve the midfield performance for Manchester united. Ten Haag has really improve this team and signing Mount to the squad is another move to add up strength in the midfield but I just hope that Mason Mount will live up to the expectations by the coach and fans of the club.

We have seen this happen before. A player comes into the team with really high expectations, but in the end, he is not able to deliver. And I really hope that the same is not going to happen with Mason Mount. He seems to be a good player. And if the same thing happens with Mason Mount as well, I will have to say that Manchester United is just cursed. Or all the things that Cristiano Ronaldo said on the Piers Morgan show were actually true, which it is to some extent.

Anyway, I think Manchester United is improving right now and they should be able to perform well with Mason Mount in the team. Giving the number seven shirt to Mason. Mount is certainly a sign of respect, and I hope Mason Mount will be able to deliver.
