Chelsea problem last problem was the management not the coach or the players. they had a nice coach that was doing well in Brighton, Potter Graham flopped because of poor management in the club. and if they did not amend their involvement in the club's decision, pochettino has the experience but if he is not given a free hand to operate he will still flop.

True, I saw something wrong with Chelsea's management because some of the coaches that Todd brought in mostly always failed, they even had good and expensive players but in the end, they always failed. I agree, maybe one of the factors that make coaches fail is because they don't get freedom, after all, coaches have experience and high-flying hours, so I think they already know what to do when the team experiences unwanted things. But it all comes back to management, if in conditions like this, management doesn't give freedom to the coach, then I think it will be very difficult for the coach to be able to restore the club's condition.

It is unfair to only blame Chelsea ex-coaches for failure in the club while disregarding the efforts they put in during off-match days. The responsibility of the coaches is to prepare the team, but the main job of performing on the field falls on the players during matches. Therefore, it is safe to say that both the coaches and the players should be held accountable for their poor performance.

The players showed recklessness and displayed a lack of proficiency in creating scoring opportunities, even when they did have chances, converting them into goals proved to be a challenge, and not just that, they lacked the strength and confidence to overcome the opposition's defenders, the defenders were also not fulfilling their duties effectively. I will rate Kepa before even rating some of the defenders because he does what an average keeper would have done throughout last season.

I wouldn't say the coaches were completely the cause. No doubt, they set the system while the players execute the game plan. But some went there with a poor system/ game plan. An example is Potter. the wrong system set up in chelsea wasn't completely his but he had the chance of ending things then he showed he's on weakness.  The chemistry here is quite simple. Apart from Tuvhel, no later coach borough to chelsea could work on a system set by another coach.  I blame Potter on a mare watching a highlight of the substitution he made which ruin many matches for chelsea. He made efforts but we're not good enough to transform the team.

Potter was a good manager, for a team that is fighting to be in the top 10 then I would understand, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see him do anything else. I think it's quite obvious that we are going to see a big name. I still highly suggest Mourinho, he has a past there, and he should be getting the attention again after proving himself at Roma, he is still amazing, even if he had a few bad years.

Potter will have a chance to prove his skills, if he really knows how to work with mid-level teams, then there will be many options for him, I mean that there will definitely be teams that want to invite him as head coach. I think Poccettino should do much better with Chelsea as he has experience with very big teams and very importantly he has a lot of experience in the Premier League. José Mourinho could improve the situation. But I don’t know if it is going to be a very big improvement. But at the same time, I think the team finishing in the 12th position is certainly a positive thing for whichever coach comes next. Because even finishing in the top six is going to mean a big improvement from here.

So I think this is a risk worth taking for José Mourinho as well. I do have some doubts about him if he will be able to actually bring some genuine improvement to the team. But at the same time, he should be able to do well because he has a done Pretty decent job with Roma.

I see it totally normal that Mudryk didn't perform very impressively this season. Because the whole squad of Chelsea were very inadequate. Their morale was so low that they even gave up on the season quite early. In this situation it wouldn't be a healthy assessment about a player. There is a new period starting for Chelsea now with Pochettino. This is going to be the most important time period to watch Mudryk's capabilities. If the team make a good start the expectation from him will also be high.

He might not justify the 100 million he was bought for, but he should definitely fit into the squad. I'm not going to completely blame Graham Potter for how Chelsea are feeling this season, but he did play a big part in causing Chelsea to fall apart. Pochettino throws away players he didn't buy and that's normal in my opinion. because this has also happened to Arsenal, Arteta has also thrown away Unai Emery's chosen players and almost all of them were thrown away, even though they were not sold directly, but they were slowly thrown away. Because when Arteta first became Arsenal coach he wasn't too good but he dared to overhaul young players plus a more efficient game system as the season progressed and finally entered the UCL zone again.

This will also happen to Chelsea one day, even though it can't be changed in one season, but I believe Chelsea will rise again and become a contender for the EPL League again.

So far you probably know how deep Chelsea's squad would be without them, so I guess they've just been pretty lavish with a lot of talented, expensive players. Pochettino is also still hoping to be able to sign a few players, so maybe there will be a new name in the Chelsea squad before the 2023-2024 season starts.

to be honest, I'm not so sure about Pochettino whether he is able to provide consistency to his players and if I see it looks like Pochettino is looking for a mainstay striker but not sure who he will choose as a mainstay striker. but nevertheless I appreciate whatever Pochettino is doing to improve Chelsea's performance again after being knocked out last season which was very sad for Chelsea.
btw, you seem too sure of betting for Chelsea whereas we don't know if all Chelsea players can quickly adapt to the new coach and I suggest that you should at least see the first performance that Chelsea will show.

That's of course true, friend, because we know that Chelsea management has been acting aggressively since Chelsea change of ownership, at which time the coach was sacked and that impact began to lose a significant balance last season.  Whether it's an existing player or a new signing, it also can't make their performance look better.

So next season there will be stronger competition for Chelsea because several strong teams have started to improve in this season transfer window. I think Pochettino will have a tougher job next season so it is indicated that he must be able to develop a more precise strategy before the league starts.

It will be really absurd to blame the management alone for the poor performance of Chelsea last season.
I agree the management had a role to play in the disaster, but there is no way in hell a team plays as Chelsea played last season and you don't blame the coach for part of it, especially if the club gives you a lot of reinforcements.
Potter was brilliant at Brighton, but that doesn't mean he was awful at Chelsea. Even the great Mourinho sucked at his second term with Chelsea. Should we excuse that because he was good ones or good at other clubs?

Nothing strange is going on; the club is simply cleaning up the players they don't need for next season in order to balance the books before June 30th, when they can start looking for replacements. This is the best thing to do because most of these players haven't shown any single commitment or improvement for the last two seasons, and it was long overdue. Chelsea and Poch will begin recruiting players next month, and there will be many fascinating new faces. The only strange thing is that no one saw those guys going to the Saudis, and I never anticipated them to come to our rescue so quickly.

Actually, Chelsea has a lot of potential. Every game they play is good, it's just that they have to put everything together well, streamline the squad, maintain team harmony and focus on buying an attacker with character like Drogba. Chelsea are a big team, for sure they will return to how things were.

Boehly's long-term plan cannot be said to have failed for now. Especially with the arrival of a new coach and selling several players who were not needed and recruiting new players. If everything has chemistry (on and off the field) it is not impossible that Chelsea can become the most consistent team in the future. Regarding ambition, Chelsea owner Boehly looks big, this is what makes Chelsea's management look bad because they don't want to be patient and follow the process. The fact that Chelsea are is letting go of some of their best players  to other clubs both in Europe and in Saudi Arabia should send a strong message that the new manager at the club Mauricio Pochettino has marked these same players as players that are surplus to his requirement.
The transfer season isn't yet finished and I'm very sure after mass clearance of players, Chelsea will definitely sign their replacement which will be the kind of players that the new manager will recommend to suit his style of football

Chelsea fans were complaining about most of those players, they wanted those players to leave d club due to their performance last season, most of them believe that chelsea problem is not from the previous coaches which they changed, they believe something is wrong with the players also, because how will three coaches be sacked last season without any improvement in the team’s performance, then the players are also at fault. They want those players to go so that new once can come in, if their current coach can still continue with the same squad, then chelsea performance might get worst next season, so it’s just better he sell most of those players and get new once.

One thing I hope for is that Manchester City will again have a strong competitive field for the title. The worst that can happen in the Premier League is when 8 weeks before the season ends one team is leading with a 20 points gap. The issue is that I believe this could actually go that way as several teams need to find themselves again first before they can aim higher and also perform well on most of the 38 game days. Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, all teams that could usually play for the top for a while but perhaps we now have Newcastle and Arsenal instead. But I think it is close to being guaranteed that Manchester will play a good season at least and maybe a perfect season if other teams are pushing them.
