I think they bought him to replace Ilkay Gundogan because Ilkay left City and transferred to Barcelona.Kovacic, who is a younger player, is a better choice than Ilkay in terms of age, but it is not known whether he will be able to adapt to City.

Kovacic is a good football player, but İlkay's contribution to the team was too much. I'm not sure if Kovacic can do that. It's always better to have a younger squad. Every football player who comes to City gets used to it in time, I don't think he will have serious problems in this regard. Looking at the long-term, I see that they made a logical transfer

Chelsea would be making a mistake should they not sign a better replacement for Kovacic a midfielder with great interceptions and known for his penetrative passes, no doubt the young star is going to shine at City with his experience in the EPL in the past few years under CFC.  Gardiola knows this better than anyone else and that's why he had to sign the CM as a replacement for Gundogan next season.

There is no concrete news because until now PSG still hasn't announced it, but with so many rumors with Mbappe and several other teams also want him including Real Madrid who first offered him but failed and now these rumors are getting busier, but to be honest I will happy if Mbappe is at Liverpool.

Arsenal are also targeting Mbappe, they just want him to become a free agent first, but I think with Arsenal's plan like this it will be difficult to get Mbappe if you just wait for free, while Liverpool are willing to pay 300 million according to the media.

Apparently Arteta has been realized his mistakes why Arsenal has failed to be the champion of premier league last season and one of the causes is Arsenal depth of squad is not equal and besides that Arsenal has poor rotation player which make some of their players got fatigue and this have an affect for Arsenal performance which make they have to slipped at the end of season and only finish at runner up place
Arteta has attempts to improve Arsenal depth of squad with buy some of high quality players such as you mentioned above and now they have promising squad besides that after the arrival of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber Arteta will have many options for the starting lineup and in my opinion Arsenal will be stronger than last season

It's no secret that Tottenham has always been a shadow for Harry Kane. It seems they are really reluctant to let Harry Kane go. We all know that Man City was once bitten when they tried to make an offer for Harry Kane, though the offer submitted by Man City at that time was fantastic. I think if Tottenham are too stubborn it shall be their loss because if Harry Kane chooses to become a free agent then Tottenham will get nothing.

Guardiola seems to be interested in de Jong now as this article says. That would be an interesting exchange as they let Gundogan go and try to replace him with a much younger player. Maybe this has all been set up without anyone knowing if this transfer really happens. I think de Jong is more defensive than Gundogan and scores a lot less goals in his time at Barcelona, but Guardiola seems to have an idea about how to proceed with Manchester City next season.

Now THAT makes sense for sure. I never believed that Kovacic was a good replacement for Gundogan, sure Kovacic is decent but that dude was the captain of a team that did treble, and Kovacic is not capable of being as good as that.

To see De Jong there instead? That could definitely change some stuff and we may end up seeing some better players for sure. I know that it is going to be pretty tough to handle and we are not going to end up De Jong go for cheap, with Barcelona being in financial trouble, they may want to end up with a loss for sure and that means they may want to sell De Jong for a lot of money to solve all their financial troubles with just one sale, and that's why something a lot more could be considered. However, City is rich enough to be able to pay for it, so I guess that could still happen.

Mikel Arteta have learnt from the mistake he mad in the last season, am sure he wont want semilar thing to happen next sesonson, Arteta was about winning the premier league for Arsenal last season but lact of experience really caused him to lose the great opportunity he had. Arteta was using the same players from the beginning of season till the ending, so the players got tired when the season was about to end, their performance reduced and they were losing most of the matches which they should have won. If Arsenal can get more players so that the coach wont over use any of those players, then am sure their performance will improve next season.

FIFA's insider has been also telling media if liverpool gonna send its first bid for mbappe in upcoming days. This needs to be confirmed. I can't even take it as reliable news. I remember when klopp has been refusing mbappe's transfer by said that if mbappe has not become liverpool's priority but that will become another chelsea if liverpool gonna spend very big amounts of money to buy mbappe from PSG.

Arsenal failed to win the Premier League because they could not maintain their consistency. I think the reason is that they don't really have the proper preparation and they don't have a lot of options to rotate players, so fatigue and injury became a big problem for them. Besides that, Arsenal also don't really have a winning mentality, one important thing that their rival (Man City) has.

Arteta certainly wants to make Arsenal even better this season, but I think it won't be easy for Arsenal to become champions because apart from Man City, Liverpool and Man United will also have the same target.

Reinforcements are coming to gunners squad and the market value of Arsenal is increasing according to that.
Havertz already signed for Arsenal so his case is closed for them. Declan Rice contract will be signed soon since West Ham agreed to let him go to the other London club for £105m and Manchester City left the race of signing him.
For Jurrien Timber he will sign soon and move out from Ajax to Arsenal. Improving the defence line, midfield and the attack line especially by having more options to use will make Arsenal threatening everyone next season.

Will Mbappe be in the Premier League this season?

Mbappe has already spoken about his next destination. But He is not in a heist to leave PSG.  He has told them that, if only they are willing to pay him the left over money in his remaining contract he can to leave,  other wise stays till the next season and get his money before leaving. And I believe PSG will have just one option and that's allowing him to play till the end of next summer. Moreover, Mbappe has not spoken about EPL ever since the tails of his transfer came up. Even if Mbappe is leaving PSG today,  his next destination will be real Madrid not Liverpool.

Considering how weak they were a few seasons ago and the squad that Arteta used last season, many people didn't think that Arsenal could make it to that position, by finishing in second place in the Premier League Competition. Additionally, many didn't think that those boys could play to that standard because they are almost all average players.so as arteta discovered it squad last season with their performance, if it added some stronger players to the squad again I am expecting team to appear stronger than of last season.

I might agree with you when you say that Arteta's failure to win the Premier League was due to a lack of many quality players in the squad. Arteta first eleven team players were all excellent players who gave all their best, but when any player left the first got injured, there was not replacement for them. As a result, the Arteta Smart Boys were left with a weak squad due to the squad's excessive use.If Arteta really doesn't want what happened last season to occur next season, he needs to sign many good players so that he will always have a backup plan in case something unfortunate happens to them, like an injury.

It is uncertain if Arsenal will do better or worse than they did last season. We need to see what strategy Arteta will use.. I think that the result from pre match will give us a clue about how good/bad arsenal this season.
Im sure that arsenal gonna use the pre match as training sessions for some new players to adapt to the environment in the club.

Things are not that easy for Arsenal. I know Arsenal had impressive form last season but they could change next season in one way or another. Every team playing in the Premier League wants to win and wants to collect a lot of points until the end of the season.So that is why Arsenal will not run alone on the standings.

Even though Arsenal are known to have signed several new players, I am not entirely sure they can compete great in the Champions League. It's not easy to progress from one stage to another in the Champions League although it looks like Arsenal deserve to be among the favorites for next season. Remember there are many teams who want the title, some teams are experienced teams and also won the title in the previous season, so Arsenal's journey to the Champions League next season will not be easy.

It was a risk they are willing to take, loosing Kane in a free transfer but before that happens, Spurs is in a really bad shape and Kane remains the most reliable goal scorer for the team, aside H. Son of course and as such, his replacement haven’t really be sort out for nor is there one as credible to deliver as the England captain.

Kane is a player who has given so much to Tottenham and he deserves to be playing in a much better team than Tottenham,a team which will have better consistency than Tottenham and he will be backed by much higher class players than he plays with in Tottenham.

I agree,the team management should do well to accept tempting offers as I am sure there will be a lot of such offers in his address from big teams,I don't know how true is but I have heard Real Madrid is looking for him.Tottenham without him will be much weaker in attack and will have a difficult season ahead in the Premier League but that's life.
