Have anyone watch the friendly match between Arsenal vs Nurnberg yesterday?

Kai Havertz was playing in left winger position, it looks like he will not replace Odegaard position in attacking midfielder. If Arteta really want Havertz to play in left winger position, he would become a substitute player since Martinelli is solid in that position, same like Bukayo Saka who's solid in right winger position.

Actually for now, one match to confirm things like positions for Havertz and some other players I think is impossible, because it is likely that for the next match Arteta will try a new placement for Havertz and this is a start.
He's still playing quite well with some of the real money players still needing time to play.
Odegaard was the only one who didn't play and I still haven't found Rice's name for Arsenal on the pitch or on the bench this time.

The 1-1 result was good enough for their first game in a friendly with Arteta's schemes and attempts.

@Jody.Drummer totally agree with you because during preseason managers tend to try out new positions and strategies but during the season they don’t use them unless they want to drastically try something new to stun an opponent. @Plaguedeath for the fee they have brought him he’s definitely not going to be a substitute player and he’ll definitely be in the starting 11 when the season starts.

It's like that, we also don't rush to conclude the position or game of the player in one match, especially it's a pre-season match which is certain that there will be many scenarios that will be applied by the coach. There are times when everything goes as expected in pre-season, but not in real matches.

Guardiola has a qualified squad, and the quality between substitutes and main players is not much different, even in certain circumstances it is the second-tier players who can be the difference in their game. I think Liverpool's dip in form was coincidental although some believe it was due to Mane's move to Bayern Munich. I'm not too sure about that assumption, but Liverpool's performance has indeed decreased along with Mane's move. Liverpool have quality players like Salah, Nunez, Firmino and others. However, the decline in their performance was basically not only due to Mane's movements, but because the players there were not in good form.

Nunez, Gakpo and several other players have helped Liverpool as much as possible to return to their best form, but it's difficult because they have fallen far from the Champions League zone. Liverpool will be better next season, I'm sure of that.

It does not matter if only a few key Manchester City players leave because after all, these players are also old and ofcourse Manchester City should do and or prepare to regenerate the squad. They can't move on to the next season with only one striker in the end. Nunez's possible injury can cause us to see Gakpo as a centre-forward again. This wouldn't be much ideal for Liverpool at all. If they don't want to spend so much money on a striker than they can look for a loan option or a favorable low-cost striker as a subtitute of Nunez. Nunez will also need to make some good improvement this season to prove his skills to Liverpool as well.

They have already carried out some changes in a good way. The management trust the Manager and I love how they're backing him up again for this season even if they got exited from the Champions League Competition.
One change and upgrade I'm yet to see is at the heart of the defense, Last season, Liverpool had lots of flaws from the defense and I still haven't seen a bid to get a player signed for that position. Premier league is a very complicated and hard league altogether compared to other leagues,that is why most players struggle when they come to England.The aggressive nature of play here is too much compared to the way other leagues play.Nenez is a very good attacker but you can't compare him to Haaland who is a natural finisher.Next season would be very competitive because I know most defenders wont let Haaland score the numbers of goals he scored last season,and if the likes of Kane,Salah and Gabriel Jesus continue to stay fit,I think they will compete with him fiercely for that golden boot.I can't wait to see the premier league start again.

I agree with you on Nunez I think he failed to live up to expectations last season, his value and exposure in the media is not commensurate with his achievements on the pitch. If you assume that he needs more time to adapt to the Liverpool squad, Klopp has given him many minutes to play but his performances have not lived up to expectations. Hopefully next season will be a place to prove his quality and can make a good contribution to Liverpool.

Looks like Liverpool really have to be really observant to bring in players in the transfer market, I think their midfield is a sector that needs to be fixed for now. In the striker position, Muhamed Salah was very productive last season and was included in the top three EPL top scorers. Only Firmino and maybe Milner, had an impact in the overall team performances throughout the season. For others, not so much so I doubt they'd be missed as much as you're exaggerating their importance. I'm happy with the replacements we got even though I'm yet to see them play/perform - That's the kind of regard I have for them. It was obvious last season that oyr midfield was the weakest link so it was a delight to Mac and Szoboslai getting signed to strengthen the midfield. Fabinho was average last season but I felt it was mostly because of the other midfielders by his side that left him exposed most of the time. Exciting times are ahead. Preseason starts in a few days, let's see.
