This was beyond many people's predictions, Aston Villa really played well enough in this match so that the Manchester City team could not develop their game.

I didn't aspect that Manchester United would defeat Chelsea, To be honest they did a fantastic job in yesterday's match. This demonstrates how Manchester United's play has improved. Manchester United deserves to win because of the effort they put into pressing Chelsea yesterday. Chelsea try to play better in the second half; otherwise, they struggle throughout the first half of the encounter. Manchester United has extend  Chelsea rent to 10th position.

What happen to Manchester City, Aston Villa successfully pressuring Manchester City and that make Manchester City can only give 3 shots. The absence of Rodri really make Manchester City looks like a mediocre club. Alvarez can still able to replace De Bruyne, but there's no one can replace Rodri even they have 3-4 defensive midfielders.

Aston Villa outperformed Man City in every aspect in this match. I believe it's due to Man City's strong determination, but Aston Villa's aggressive play seemed to disrupt Pep Guardiola's plans. Aston Villa executed an excellent defensive blockade.

In the final statistics of the game, Man City only managed 2 shots on target. Despite having a 54% ball possession advantage, I observed a significant decline in Man City's gameplay.

Manchester City is declining, but behind Manchester City's defeat it is also proven that Aston Villa is currently really a team that the big six teams really need to be wary of.

I knew Manchester City could find it hard to win against Aston Villa in their Premier League match yesterday because Manchester City failed to win against Tottenham, who failed to win their last 3 Premier League matches. For now, Liverpool is the only club that can stop Arsenal from not winning the Premier League trophy.

I couldn't agree with you more on this. I usually say that Haaland is not a big game player and some people would look at me like I've grown two heads. It's true, because you can't just rate a player based on the goals he scores but his overall impact. I'm certain that if he were to still be at Dortmund, he wouldn't have gotten this amount of goals and you'll agree with me that Dortmund aren't of the same standard as Man City.
 Let's take Jullian Alvarez for instance, he may not have as much goals as Haaland but you see him creating chances that would result in goal scoring opportunities but that's not the same for Haaland who prefers that the other players do the dirty work and he just stands in position to net the ball home. Then supposing there is no opportunity like that, you see him walking around the field like someone who's already exhausted.
For Man City, this their recent performance just goes to show that all good things can come to an end. The season is still fresh and maybe Pep has another plan up his sleeved but for now, Man City are slowly waning.

Talking about the City goal machine is something most of us would agree that he's not a complete striker as the case maybe, Haaland is like an uncompleted mansion, what I'm saying is that the striker is not that complete. He only has that ability to score goals and nothing more to offer. Alvarez is a complete striker than the big man Haaland. Alvarez is an invincible player that you don't know when he'd strike or even cause much damage to opposition but Haaland can be predicted.
This isn't a comparison but the truth need to be told, no doubt Haaland scored a lot of goals as of last season but this season is like the form of City is some how affecting him and he can't adjust because he only has one plan in his head, that's give him the ball to score, that all he knows how to do.
Pep is worried about the way his team are going about business in as much as he said they'd win the league title this season I feel that's just another of his mind games, I believe he never said such last season and he won it but now that he has come to say it, I think nothing positive is coming out from the Citizens in this campaign.

Manchester United got an important victory by beating Chelsea. McTominay became the hero of the match. Chelsea is a team that is extra motivated against big teams. Remember the match against Manchester City. They also made Arsenal and Tottenham lose points. The fact that they are currently 10th in the league does not change that they are a difficult team. A well-deserved win for Manchester United. I expect them to slowly catch up with their form.

It was a deserved defeat yesterday for Chelsea judging from what they displayed in yesterday's game. There's no fighting spirit in the team at all. Manchester united despite not in form too this season outplayed Chelsea as they always did. Chelsea was playing with unseriousness from the beginning till the end of the game as if they have played over hundreds of games this season. In fact, that was the worst performance I have seen this season in EPL. Too much error and back passes and the provoking thing is that there's no anger in the face of the couch and perhaps that's why the players are doing what suit them. If anyone is expecting anything good from this current Chelsea, that person should prepare for more disappointment.

Missing rodri was obviously making the gameplay of manchester city looks so terrible. Guardiola didn't have someone who can play as good as rodri and de bruyne. What's the point to have many great players while they were unable in scoring against aston villa?
Aston villa was even dominating the match with so many counter attacks that were almost conceding city with lots of goals. City has been decreasing a lot when it must be forced to play without rodri.
Some players like alvarez or even haaland can do nothing without having a creative player like rodri. guardiola needs to target a new midfielder as soon as possible.

Manchester city can find the solution after the transfer window will be opening again. We are only a few weeks away from that moment. Pep can try to search someone who was capable enough in helping the club to play even better.

Unexpectedly, Man City lost to Aston Villa. In this match, it was clear that without Rodri's presence, Man City could not develop their best game, especially as Aston Villa played better than Man City. Aston Villa's game is very well organized, the players are fast and physically strong, Aston Villa is able to control many aspects.

I don't agree that Manchester City's defeat was due to the absence of Rodri who was absent due to a suspended red card.
From the replay that I watched, it was difficult for Manchester City to develop their best game because Aston Villa dominated on all fronts. Douglas Luiz and Pau Torres performed quite extraordinary in deciding attacks and closing down Alvarez and Silva's movements so that Haaland didn't get service like in other matches.

It's been very long I watched a Manchester City side that plays football with less creativity like the Manchester City team that lost at Aston Villa last night. They played like a struggling average team with players that aren't capable creating chances and it made me begin to wonder about what was wrong with them because that's not how a typical Pep Guardiola's team plays. Jack Freakish didn't feature in the game because he picked his fifth yellow card of the season in their game against Tottenham Hotspur during the weekend and so was Rodrigo. Jeremy Doku's was unfit as well after he picked a knock in their last game and that's why Pep Guardiola played two natural  defenders in the persons of John Stones and Manuel Akanji in the midfield position but unfortunately for him, his tactical approach didn't favour him last night as Leon Bailey's deflected shot was all Aston Villa needed to grab all three points from that game.

I think Kelvin De Bruyne's absence since he picked injury in at the start of the season has been the major reason why Manchester City aren't as effective as they were last season and now that the winter transfer window is almost here, Manchester City might consider signing another creative midfielder

We have to give Manchester credit for what they have done so far. It is not easy to be consistent all season and year in year out. I think this is just their dip in form and the team will bounce back during the second half of the season. Even pep told the city fans that they should know that not everytime the team will be recording good results. So he knows that times like this are inevitable in football.

Gary Lineker the English broadcaster also started complaining about Ten Hag and his behavior had recently with some players in Manchester United. Lineker said Ten Hag's take is hard on players and this is not acceptable, also he said his behavior with Sancho was not good and it definitely damaged the team.

McTominay appeared very charming in this match. I didn't know that if Rashford had played from the start, I'm sure Man United would not have won. In this match the second goal occurred because of Garnacho's sweet pass, I think he will be a future player for Man United, his progress is getting better day by day.

Mc Tominay has always been a good player, he has scored in three out of his four premier league appearance for Manchester united, he is one player I am beginning to love, his zeal and passion and drive to always get something done is something that shouldn't be ignored at all because he will definitely make a good player soon for Manchester united.

Rashford is becoming really poor with his performance and a worse combination will be having him and Bruno Fernandes playing in a match. Bruno is one player who appears selfish and yet characterized with so much mistakes for a performance, sometimes I just think he is too full of himself and should give way for othe young players to play while he rest or take corrections and learn. Garnacho has always been promising well enough to definitely perform well but for the likes of Fernandez and rashford who would want to score all the goals.

That's the same squad Erik ten Hag should be using when they play major teams; the Manchester United squad is very serious about yesterday's game. I like how Erik ten Hag used the squad yesterday, and it's excellent that he benched Rashford. Rashford deserves that, and I know that Manchester United would not have defeated Chelsea if he had started the game with Rashford. I like the intensity with which those players played against Chelsea. Manchester United plays a strong lineup that maintains its position while producing strong play from both its attacking and defensive players.

Maguire is a defensive player who always carries out his duties with excellence. He can even be seen moving from the defensive to the Chelsea post. Maguire deserves to be named player of the month. The team's performance will be better than it was yesterday, in my opinion, if the coach looks at the players who are really serious about starting a game. Garnacho, who is only 19 years old, is a young player, but based on his performance so far, I think he will be the best player in the team because he drive the Chelsea defensive player's crazy.

Aston Villa are quite good at balancing the game against Manchester City in many kind of statistics now. They have been the much closer side to score the first goal as well. Manchester City have only 2 goal attempts so far which doesn't fit a team like them at all. I was expecting Emery to make things difficult for them but this is way more than I expected. 

But I still want to believe in Manchester City to find a way to win this game. Even if they get 1-0 behind I think they will somehow make a comeback. They have much more qualified players and a manager like Guardiola. I think it must be time to end this draw streak.

This is a really exciting game to watch,it's bad that I'm not watching it,but I wish Manchester City get a way to win this one as I gave them a straight win in my ticket.I also want Aston Villa to score as well,but I predicted a 2:1 win in favour of Manchester City in this game.It is sad that City are finding it difficult to get their way to score in this game.But I still think in the second half,City will get a double goal,and win this game.Aston Villa's coach  Emery,is really doing an incredible work at Villa,and he's making sure Villa qualified for either champions league or Europa league next season,I think that is his target,and he has made the top four  a hot one for the big teams.

Aston Villa did even much more than balancing the statistics against Manchester City in this game. They literally dominated the whole game. It is a big disgrace that Manchester City couldn't even have proper goal attempts in this game. Especially in the second half they were lost. 0 goal attempts in a whole half is just horrible.  

This must be the worst game Manchester City have ever played under Guardiola's management so far. I don't remember them being this desperate in any other game. They were able to do nothing other than just passing the ball between each other in the whole game. Aston Villa definitely deserved the win by this performance.

I was wrong because I forgot not to take into account Manchester City's match, which failed to beat Tottenham in the previous match, when at that time Manchester City should have been more favored because they had a home game. But they could only hold Spurs to a draw. I forgot not to remember that. So I bet on Manchester City in yesterday's match against Aston Villa. And yes, surprisingly, Manchester City actually suffered a defeat, which indicated that their performance had declined since the previous week.

Aston Villa could really corner Manchester City in this match. Meanwhile, Manchester City can really only play in the midfield and have difficulty making attacks and penetrating the layers of defense built by Aston Villa. This time I must not underestimate the Aston Villa coach, Unai Emery. Because it seems like he is really smart at making strategies. Aston Villa puts way too much pressure on Manchester City; they have six corners while Man City's have  zero, and Rodri's absence affects Manchester City's performance. When facing a major club like this, Guardiola ought to have some capable players to take Rodri's position. They need to be able to play better, Manchester City has now drawn three straight games before losing to Aston Villa. I don't think Manchester City can win the league this season because of the performance against Aston Villa, falling back to the 4 place in the league, which is very disappointing from the team. In addition, Rodri and Doku was not there, so I believe Guardiola will have another player in order to replace Rodri.

Many people doubt that Manchester United will lose, but i disagree with that no matter how bad they play, they will beat Chelsea. Manchester United actually performs better, if it weren't for the Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez that saved more goals, Man United would have won by more than two goals. With this performance, I believe Manchester United will win more games but will not finish in the top four. However, McTominay helped Manchester United win after Bruno Fernandes wanted to fail them by missing the penalty. By keeping Rashford on the bench, Ten Hag's is making the best decision.

Apart from that, Man United can win over Chelsea. I watched the Man United vs Chelsea match. Man United really played very well, not because Chelsea played badly, but Man United's game in this match really just flowed like there was no burden, all the players wanted to fight, not soft as usual. I think this is a good start for Man United to continue to rise and continue to maintain consistency in every match.

That was my observation too yesterday, i knew Aston Villa was a tough opponent and they could give Manchester City tough time especially that they played at home. They are very strong at home and the facet that they were 4th on the table proves how good they were. Now after successfully winning Manchester city they have now move up ahead of Manchester City on the table and now they currently sit at 3rd position.

It was an interesting match for the home team but I wouldn’t say the same for Manchester City because they were under pressure almost throughout the match, they struggled and only had 2 shots on target which was very poor for a team like Manchester City.
