EPL matches doesn't go as planned, we all know that. Newcastle United was not prepared to face Tottenham Hotspur today, the signs was stated clearly out. Eddie Howe and his men are taken unaware, they never expected so heightened performance from Ange Postecoglou and his firing squad. Got humiliated at Tottenham Hotspur stadium and this is absolutely not what they intended to happen. Finally, they secured three points and now, they will face next match, Nottingham forest, is it a tough game for Spurs? I don't think so.

I knew Spurs will be the better team against Newcastle after their disappointing lost to Everton and Nick Pope also getting injured, the game was so easy for spurs that Richarlison got a brace but i don`t think spurs are back yet.
Everton really as something to prove this season and they are working well defeating Chelsea and Newcastle, after their win against newcastle i did not speak much about Chelsea game because i was having a feeling they win against and they did.
The fans and management will probably be tired of James Hamstring injury, what is the main issue with this and this may become worst for chelsea if Cucurella injury is serious since he has been in a fine form recently but it seems like Gusto may be available for the next match but i don`t think Sanchez injury will be serious but do you think Caicedo will really do well at chelsea ?

After experiencing a very dark week and here Spurs managed to gain valuable momentum for their revival. The result was unusual and they beat Newcastle with a score of 4-1 at home.

Arsenal had a disappointing game yesterday. I think they were just unlucky, VAR was not in their favour and they didn’t have their manager on the pitch. Remember Arteta was given a third yellow card in their last game. Maybe not having Mikel Arteta on the sidelines also contributed to the result. His presence would have been motivation for the players.

It’s surprising how much Aston Villa have grown from battling relegation last season to beating one of the top teams in the league. At this rate, Aston Villa can even be called title contenders this season.

Aston Villa seems not to surprise me to be the first team to bring the big elephant(Arsenal) down in their first loss match of the season. Who would have believed that the same Aston Villa who was battling relegation last season could beat the big clubs like Manchester City, Tottenham, and Arsenal in their last matches? It looks like also Tottenham is returning to winning ways and against Newcastle after losing some games in a row.I think this was to be expected of Newcastle who most probably is prioritizing the Champions League game on this upcoming last match day there as they need absolutely to win their game in order to have chances to progress further in the Champions League.They are playing against Milan while Tottenham is completely focused to get the three points from this game and this means that they are leading 2-0 and I don't expect the result to change much in this game because of Newcastle focus elsewhere.

Three points now separates them from Manchester City, but we cannot declare that Tottenham is back because these are the same players who played against West Ham and lost. They seem to be only concerned with making it out of the Champions League group stage, but I believe that will happen when PSG lose to Dortmund and Newcastle wins against AC Milan.

Maybe Newcastle was hoping to see better results in this match even against a team like Tottenham but again Tottenham had an amazing performance and they won the game with a 4-1 result. In this match, Richarlison had a perfect performance and he scored two goals for the team and now Tottenham got 30 points in the 16 games we saw for them in the Premier League.

After failing to win any of their previous five English Premier League games, Tottenham Hotspur played like the team that were very consistent at the start of the season by humiliating Newcastle in their game today. Newcastle might have thought that they'll capitalize on Tottenham Hotspur's poor run but unfortunately for them, Tottenham Spurs gave them the beating of their Life.

Ange Postecoglou will surely feel very happy with the result of the game against Newcastle because that win will ease the pressure he's been getting in their previous give games

The impact of the points deduction is unlikely to change Everton's mentality to immediately escape the relegation zone and a 3-0 win without reply against Newcastle at home is a very impressive result. I didn't expect Everton to do this and send Newcastle home without taking a single point. With all the form Newcastle has had this season, they have played against many teams much stronger than Everton and have won them, but it is only Everton that Newcastle will not be able to defeat. If someone were to tell me that Everton will lose to Newcastle, I would not believe them because Newcastle is playing so well that you can even think that they will beat any team. Imagine Everton defeating Newcastle 3-0; that is too much for Newcastle.

And while I am aware that Everton is just as good as Newcastle this season, Newcastle is currently ranked seventh in the Premier League, I have been wondering why it is that sometimes, teams in good shape play in a different way. I had assumed that Newcastle was planning to be in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League, but after their performance yesterday, I have come to doubt that they will be able to do so.

This is the reason people say England is the toughest and hardest league in the world,it is results like this that make us conclude about that.Newcastle is a very good team especially when they see big teams,they try everything possible to bully them and win them because they are always very phisical while playing.Everton on the other hand knows that they are a very strong side and are always very physical,so they decided to play thesame way with them,but Newcastle were unable to withstand the pressure brought by Everton and the result ended up being in favour of Everton.
Newcastle to me might not be able to reach the height they reached last season,reason being that most teams in England have understood their pattern and their method of play,and have deviced a way of playing them.

These surprising results happen from time to time, but the Premier League is the hardest league not necessarily because Everton has beaten Newcastle. I think it is more because the Premier League has like six teams which could be involved with the fight for the title until the end. Now in the last few years before Liverpool had a weak time, it was really about Liverpool and Manchester City. But the quality of the games on average is higher than in any other league no matter what the matchup is.

In the last couple of matches, Newcastle hasn't been doing so well. First, they faced Everton, and Everton won 3-0. Today, they played against Tottenham and lost 4-1. These results make me think that Newcastle's performance is not as good as before. Newcastle were comfortably battered in the injury-crisis derby against Tottenham Hotspur but there were several key underperformers during the match, including one star who was arguably the worst player on the pitch.

Chelsea are really not doing anything to show that their performance is some how improving gradually, they play without any means of making opposition beg to have the ball, but in this case is just a 50/50 for both sides. The backline of Chelsea is very solid with Cucurella Disasi and Colwill on the mix, but I can't seem to understand why James have to always come on to make the defense line weak, he has completely lost form.
The Chelsea boss need to permanently drop the England right back for good because he's only making the team to be under pressure for no reason. Let's see how they'll play on the second half if the visitors would get a goal.

You can’t blame Reece James, bro just recovered from injury and we all know how difficult it is to recover form knee injury that almost required him to go for a surgery which he refused so he needs to manage himself properly so he doesn’t get himself injured again. I respect james and i know his drop of form is due yo the injury and after a while he will fully recover and get back to his best form. James is a positive and solid player, don’t forget how he pocketed Doku in the match against Manchester City, he is the best right back we have got and I know it’s the effect of the injury because almost every player struggles when they return from injury.

Chelsea have lost their confidence and rhythm and they need to improve as soon as possible else they may find themselves in the relegation zone.

Tottenham won after 5 games. And they ended the bad situation by beating a tough opponent like Newcastle United. After starting the season so well, they have officially collapsed. Manchester City made me really worried about them for once during the Luton game. Because when I saw Luton scoring first it was quite surprising to me. If they can maintain that form I think they don't have to fear relegation zone in a few weeks from now. I am not sure what they did and what they changed, but this is crazy. However, the times that any team will underestimate Everton are probably over now.

It is true, Everton has been improved their performance a lot. They succeed to win the match 3 times in a row lately. They even could beat Newcastle with 3 goals, they also destroy Chelsea with 2 goals. In these 2 last matches, they never got a conceded goal. This makes Everton is moving a way from relegation zone. Now, they have 14 points difference from Luton Town in the relegation zone. If Everton can maintain this good performance, they will be safe to continue in EPL competition for the next season. Sure, no team can underestimate them anymore because they prove that they can beat big team in EPL.

Tottenham Hotspur's performance this evening really impressed me; they played well and won by three goals margin, which I honestly did not expect. Newcastle United was under intense pressure with 25 shots and 12 of them one target. I'm not sure how long Tottenham can keep up their good form; they're not a team you can rely on for long. Also, I hope that this game does not weaken Newcastle's squad for their next match against Milan in the champions league.

I think the problem of player injuries could be a bad point for their performance in the last two matches which made them lose points. Sometimes one of the teams starts to lose their balance when the coach doesn't have strategy B when many players are injured and that's what happened to Newcastle United.

Newcastle United looks like it will be difficult to repeat what they did last season because until week 16 they have not been able to rise to enter the top 4 ranking. I think Howe should be able to end this bad streak because it has been seen that there are several teams that are taking time to recover after losing in a row, such as Manchester City and Tottenham.

I can't say if Arteta absent was the reason why arsenal lose the match but checking at the performance of Aston Villa they did well for the week in premier league game , Aston Villa was able to defeat Manchester City with one gaol and when they met arsenal too during the weekend they defeated arsenal.

In my own opinion, I think it was after the English football authorities stripped Everton of ten points for violating the financial fair play  that they started performing to their full strength as a club. Many were expecting them to struggle to remain in the English Premier League after those points deduction or probably be relegated at the end of the season but from in less than five matches after that incident, Everton are out of the relegation zone and are looking comfortable in their current position in the English Premier League. They defeated Chelsea today in a match many had predicted that Chelsea were gonna win and if they continue with their current form, Everton is likely to finish the season in the top half of the league table despite the going through the pains of points deduction.

This is the premier league. It's a league where even the smallest of teams can pose to be a problem to big teams. What happened to City today isn't much different to what Liverpool and Arsenal faced against Luton town at their home this season.  It's easier to win at home but much more harder to win on the road and City had to fight real hard for it. Liverpool fought hard against Sheffield, Luton and even Nottingham.

Btw, It was nice to see Alvarez up there as the sole striker for City today. I wonder what happened to Haaland. Anyone has updated info on Haaland and while he missed out on the match day squad?

Everton are really trying to stay away from the relegation zone by winning 4 matches in their last 5 in the premier league. Everton now have 13 points in the 16 games they have played. In Everton last two matches, Everton had quite strong opponents but they managed to beat their opponents. Chelsea couldn't do much when they visited the Goodison Park stadium because Everton played more carefully in this match and managed to achieve a promising victory.

For Chelsea, they were not good at finishing in this match because they had many opportunities but they couldn't convert them into goals. Chelsea needs really good attackers to be able to score goals because currently in my opinion Chelsea front line is very unproductive when it comes to scoring goals. Chelsea ranking in the standings table is quite vulnerable to being shifted by other teams because several teams collected the same points, which will make them shift each other's rankings in next week.
