Arsenal had a disappointing game yesterday. I think they were just unlucky, VAR was not in their favour and they didn’t have their manager on the pitch. Remember Arteta was given a third yellow card in their last game. Maybe not having Mikel Arteta on the sidelines also contributed to the result. His presence would have been motivation for the players.

It’s surprising how much Aston Villa have grown from battling relegation last season to beating one of the top teams in the league. At this rate, Aston Villa can even be called title contenders this season.

I can't say if Arteta absent was the reason why arsenal lose the match but checking at the performance of Aston Villa they did well for the week in premier league game , Aston Villa was able to defeat Manchester City with one gaol and when they met arsenal too during the weekend they defeated arsenal.

 I think Aston Villa is doing well for able to defeat these two syrong teams in premier league. I won't say Aston Villa were lucky to win the game, they actually played very well. Aston Villa have really done well in their performance this season to gather much points to be among the top teams in the standings, but I was expecting arsenal to win the match because I feel they have good player's that are supposed to defeat Aston Villa

Everton is seriously on fire at the moment as they have now a first winning streak this season and they did not concede any goals the last three games, which is quite impressive given that they have played against Newcastle and Chelsea. If they can maintain that form I think they don't have to fear relegation zone in a few weeks from now. I am not sure what they did and what they changed, but this is crazy. However, the times that any team will underestimate Everton are probably over now.

It is true, Everton has been improved their performance a lot. They succeed to win the match 3 times in a row lately. They even could beat Newcastle with 3 goals, they also destroy Chelsea with 2 goals. In these 2 last matches, they never got a conceded goal. This makes Everton is moving a way from relegation zone. Now, they have 14 points difference from Luton Town in the relegation zone. If Everton can maintain this good performance, they will be safe to continue in EPL competition for the next season. Sure, no team can underestimate them anymore because they prove that they can beat big team in EPL.

It is always hard to understand why a team that has had so many issues during the early season out of a sudden is so strong that they can beat anyone.

Newcastle is having quite a bad time at the moment and I think it is quite bad if they are behind Manchester United, which also has problems over problems. Many of the top teams had some unexpected troubles and I think this is most obvious for Manchester City. I would have never thought that they would not be able to win a game for like four games in a row. And it was shocking to see that against Luton Town they were also struggling. I think Guardiola was experiencing a nightmare until his team finally scored goals.

In my own opinion, I think it was after the English football authorities stripped Everton of ten points for violating the financial fair play  that they started performing to their full strength as a club. Many were expecting them to struggle to remain in the English Premier League after those points deduction or probably be relegated at the end of the season but from in less than five matches after that incident, Everton are out of the relegation zone and are looking comfortable in their current position in the English Premier League. They defeated Chelsea today in a match many had predicted that Chelsea were gonna win and if they continue with their current form, Everton is likely to finish the season in the top half of the league table despite the going through the pains of points deduction.

This is the premier league. It's a league where even the smallest of teams can pose to be a problem to big teams. What happened to City today isn't much different to what Liverpool and Arsenal faced against Luton town at their home this season.  It's easier to win at home but much more harder to win on the road and City had to fight real hard for it. Liverpool fought hard against Sheffield, Luton and even Nottingham.

Btw, It was nice to see Alvarez up there as the sole striker for City today. I wonder what happened to Haaland. Anyone has updated info on Haaland and while he missed out on the match day squad?

Everton really as something to prove this season and they are working well defeating Chelsea and Newcastle, after their win against newcastle i did not speak much about Chelsea game because i was having a feeling they win against and they did.

Everton are really trying to stay away from the relegation zone by winning 4 matches in their last 5 in the premier league. Everton now have 13 points in the 16 games they have played. In Everton last two matches, Everton had quite strong opponents but they managed to beat their opponents. Chelsea couldn't do much when they visited the Goodison Park stadium because Everton played more carefully in this match and managed to achieve a promising victory.

For Chelsea, they were not good at finishing in this match because they had many opportunities but they couldn't convert them into goals. Chelsea needs really good attackers to be able to score goals because currently in my opinion Chelsea front line is very unproductive when it comes to scoring goals. Chelsea ranking in the standings table is quite vulnerable to being shifted by other teams because several teams collected the same points, which will make them shift each other's rankings in next week.

From the way they played, it seemed like it and you could see just how helpless he was not being able to give directives to his boys. Aston Villa having to hold an early one goal down to the final whistle against a team like Arsenal, it’s something you wouldn’t have expected to happen but, they made it a reality.
I think if Arteta was on that touch line, things would have turned out differently from the directives he will put in the game and the angle he would have viewed it from to get a better perspective of what changes the game would have needed.

Spurs today made Newcastle not seem like a team that was together. Don’t just know how Joelinton managed to get that one consolation goal but, it was just Spurs having to run down the Newcastle United defense over and over again. They were under so much threat all game.

Tottenham Hotspur's performance this evening really impressed me; they played well and won by three goals margin, which I honestly did not expect. Newcastle United was under intense pressure with 25 shots and 12 of them one target. I'm not sure how long Tottenham can keep up their good form; they're not a team you can rely on for long. Also, I hope that this game does not weaken Newcastle's squad for their next match against Milan in the champions league.

Tottenham is unstoppable in this match they control the match from all sides even since the first half therefore I was not surprised if Tottenham scored a lot of goals, indeed Newcastle played poorly today but I know they are trying to secure the squad for the Champions League match as we know Newcastle will fight either in this last match to determine whether they can qualify for the next round there is no other choice they have to win because of that newcastle game is different today.

Fulham also surprised us somehow they beat West Ham with 5 goals even more surprising West Ham was unable to score a single goal even though they usually always score in every match, we know that West Ham also has a match in the European League this week but they are already in a safe position or they really want to maintain a position as a group winner and avoid the play-off round? maybe this is the only reason that makes sense to prepare for physical conditions.

Sometimes, it won't be easy to win against the teams in relegation zone. I don't think we need to feel worried, Man City still succeed to win the match at least. Although Luton Town scored first, Man City could scored 2 goals later. Man City showed their winning mentality, they could handle the situation during the match.

Bernardo Silva contributed with a single goal, he also becomes a player who has a big role in the match. I'm quite happy that Bernardo Silva can play better and gives contribution for a win. This season, Manchester City must try hard to be able to compete strongly at the top of the standing because Arsenal and Liverpool will make it quite difficult for Manchester City this season. Both Arsenal and Liverpool want to break Manchester city dominance in the race for the title. After experiencing a very dark week and here Spurs managed to gain valuable momentum for their revival. The result was unusual and they beat Newcastle with a score of 4-1 at home.

Yes, this is a big win for Tottenham after previously having bad experiences with continuous defeats. I also don't think they will come out on top with such a satisfying score when considering how they have performed recently. However, it turned out that they were superior in various things, not only ball possession but also Newcastle experienced continuous attacks from Tottenham.

The fast counter attack from totenham makes newcastle feels so difficult in countering it. As you can see that totenham was scoring a lot of goals against newcastle and that proves that how confidence totenham players are.
finally, after totenham was always facing lose streak and it was winning against newcastle. The won against newcastle can be used as a way to boost the performance from the club. The stats will never lie if totenham is one step above compared to the newcastle.

When you look at the top quality of Manchester City, it isn’t a team that you would expect to have any difficulty in winning a game against a team at the relegation zone like Luton Town. Pep didn’t get to bring his best squad but still, he managed to archive his goals of 3 points from this game, just something to keep him in the top 4. Although, I could agree that Manchester City has played badly of late and they felt robbed when they faced Spurs.

One team that I don’t understand though is Chelsea. Their inconsistency has left just about any team to come believing that, they could get points from Chelsea and they actually do. Just take a look at Everton, beating Chelsea to a 2 goals to nothing (0), that was something no one would see coming. Chelsea could be so unpredictable as, they could be better in games where you hoped for the worst and flop in a game they ought to be getting points.

I understand and it is natural that a team like Luton will only use a defensive strategy against a strong team like Manchester City, but if they don't immediately look for gaps in the defense then Manchester City will also lose their chance to win. This problem should be resolved well and it won't take long to dismantle Luton's defense and Manchester City should be able to win with a difference of at least 2 goals. But what happened was that they only won narrowly and it was quite vulnerable to a draw if their defense was not ready to anticipate Luton's attack. But overall this is good but not good enough for future competition.

If they however start the new year easily been scored goals and loosing games, then we can finally say that they title is between Liverpool and Arsenal if they remain in first and second. Everton also battling to leave the relegation zone as they play a very difficult Newcastle team.

But issues are arising for them more often than I anticipated. I thought when they lost their first game that it might have been an exception or more like a slip-up, but it seems that they can't cope with the loss of Kevin De Bruyne, who is so important to their game. I don't know for how long he will be out of the game, but he was clearly missing in many games as a leader and the conductor of their game.

At this point Chelsea owners and fans would start to lose faith in their head coach. Losing to Everton today after just coming back from a loss to Manchester united is far too much to take. I think Chelsea are far behind in terms of form and it may take a while before they get back to form.

Also Everton has been fantastic this season and they have been good lately, defeating Chelsea without conceding is a great feet to attain and they deserved the victory today.

Manchester City for a truth won against Luton Town in their English Premier League game of the weekend but critically looking at how they managed to win that game, it's very obvious that Manchester City struggled in the game to get that three points as Luton were ahead after half of the game
Pep Guardiola as a matter of urgency must improve his team's performance if he really want to finish the season with a major trophy.
