The season may look to have more to offer but right now we almost done with the first half of the season and any team at a top position and still but in as much effort in the next half of the season can have a very good turn out at the end of the season.
Well if I were to say who would be in the top six position at the end of the season I would say Arsenal at the first position just because I think they are solid and deserve it and then Manchester city, Liverpool and Aston villa then in six and fifth would be Newcastle and Tottenham.

Liverpool have sits on the first spot and we know how difficult it will be for these clubs to step down from this important positions. Arsenal has potentials of winning the EPL league this season but they're not consistent in performance, winning today and losing tomorrow is definitely not defines a true champions. Mikel Arteta will strive for more promising opportunities in mid-season, there's still hope for them and now is definitely not the time to start underperforming, rather its their time to outshine oppositions and ensure to grab golden opportunities in winning matches.

I have not really seen arsenal like team that will merit the league despite that their performance is very encouraging in this season, what about Liverpool team, they are performing very well and I think that if you give a Liverpool chance they will like to domanate or takeover from arsenal, I have not have that much confidence with arsenal carrying the league for now, if am well convinced of arsenal I will say it here, the match between arsenal and Brighton, I don't think arsenal can defeat Brighton in this match because I'm seeing that Brighton will not like to lose this the match why arsenal will be willing to defeat them, for Manchester United and Liverpool, from my predictions Manchester will lose the match against Liverpool.

The gunners have been decent no arguments, they have just been affected by injuries and lack of consistency within the Premier League.
Last weekend against Aston Villa they needed energy in midfied to stop Unai Emery amf his men from operating in midfied. Declan Rice was present but was not able to do the work alone in that midfied. Thomas Partey would have been a better pair in that game bit he was absent. They would be having him back this weekend against Brighton and I'm sure they'll win.

Liverpool are also progressing unlike last season, Klopp made some good signatures but they still lack a good defender to complement Virgil or Konate. Without that they cannot win the Premier League.

Tottenham was back to their winning ways with a home win against Newcastle United in the Premier League. I think Tottenham will beat Nottingham Forest today, to keep the Premier League top-four hope alive.

Spurs would eagerly want to make it two consecutive victories after initially going five games without a win, their latest victory against Newcastle was convincing, but they now have to be consistent to win again and try to go on a winning run. It is not going to be an easy game to win, especially as Forest is at home, both Steve and Ange would be desperate for the win, but my prediction is that the game is going to end in a draw, i can't see a winner in this one.

This is why it's good for them to have done the right thing from the beginning, or should I say they should have maintained the good performance they started the season with. Tottenham did well when they started the season but suddenly they started dwindling in performance, they should have tried better to avert this time that they seem to be under pressure to win their next matches. They were able to win just a single match in the last six games, this is poor and they can't be trusted since the likes of West Ham have been beating them easily, any serious clubs might still draw their 3 points or 1 point from them. But I must give them the kudos for the better performance in their last match on Sunday against Newcastle, they dominated and were impressive in both the first and second half, and if not for the last goal of Joelinton, they would have had that perfect game against Newcastle.

Irrespective of that, we all know that Newcastle has now reduced in performance, so any serious club could have done that as well, but still, it's commendable. Now, about the expected match today, I believe that Tottenham will win, but they must play well for this to happen. If they underestimated Nottim Forest, they might pay dearly for it. If they play above average with both defence and attack intact, just like they played against Newcastle, then they have all the reasons to beat Nottim Forest helplessly. Let me say that Tottenham is a good team, this is even as Kane has left them, but one thing about them is that they get to underestimate their opponents in my opinion. Maybe this will still work against the opponent this time since the scoring sense of Nottim Forest is weak. But if the opponent uses the home advantage and is damn serious, then Tottenham might experience what they bargained for.

Arsenal should not be underestimated even though their performance have dropped a bit. Aston villa is strong enough to challenge any team in the league right now seeing how they defeated Manchester city should send a message to everyone not to underrate them. Arsenal still have a stubborn team to play on Sunday and they cannot be underrated because Brighton has also proven to be a strong opponent. Arsenal needs to make use of this opportunity to take back the first position because Liverpool will be playing against Manchester United which is a big match even if Manchester United is in poor form they can be a tough opponent for any big team.

I think Arsenal will back to compete for the top position, because their upcoming fixtures are not quite difficult for them to gain maximum points. They need to take the advantage of this opportunity, considering a strong competition at top four of the league and the potential challenges that other top teams might face in their respective matches.

Aston Villa beating Manchester City is a testament to their strength and capability to challenge top-tier teams. This result is not only a boost for their confidence, but also sends a clear message that they should not be underestimated. Arsenal needs to approach each game with caution and respect for the capabilities of their opponents. Brighton is also a strong opponent that has proven to be a tough team to face, and Arsenal should not overlook them. And they can't hope Manchester United to beat Liverpool for arsenal to gain advantage of table positioning, as Manchester United is in a very bad phase of form. If Arsenal want to reclaim the top position, they requires a proactive approach in their own matches.

I don't expect any surprise to be made by Manchester United in their next game in the league. Because there is a huge gap between Liverpool and Manchester United right now. Liverpool are a title contender and started the season much better than the previous season. Manchester United are quite behind them in performance and in points as well.

There is a big weakness in Manchester United defense at the moment. Even their most qualified defenders are playing badly such as Varane and Casemiro. Martinez is still injured as far as I know. We must be all remembering what Liverpool did to them at Anfield in the previous season. I expect Liverpool to win comfortably here.

We can not start assuming the winner of the game because this is football and we have watched how the Red Devils play effectively mostly against elite clubs, let's not underrate them for now. Manchester United defendlines is not in good shape, alot of things going pretty rough for the club this season. Erik Ten Hag is available and he will try the best to reach the demands and big tasks. United faces Liverpool this weekend, a tough game for them and another test for Erik Ten Hag to count Liverpool as one of the big team to win this season.

I don’t want to get you wrong, but did you think Manchester United had the ability to beat Liverpool? Because Manchester United performed poorly and Liverpool are doing well this season, I don’t think Liverpool are going to allow Manchester United to win. Since it's obvious that their performance is poor, I’m sure that Manchester United will not be a challenge for Liverpool. However, it's not about being underrated or something like that. We can say that a team that is doing pretty well is the team that, whenever they have a match, we will say they shouldn’t be underrated. Let's wait and see how the match goes. Even though it's football and we can't directly guarantee another team to win, we know how it is for Manchester United this season, and that is why I said they are not capable of winning Liverpool.

I also think the 6 teams you mentioned will be in the top 6 of this year's table. It  is certain that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City will be in the top four of the  points table. These three groups are very strong. On the other hand, Aston Villa team is in great form. This team is  now at the third place  in the points table. If  this performance continues, Aston Villa are likely to qualify for the Champions  League. Manchester United are now sixth in the points table. However, the performance of this team is very erratic. So Newcastle have a good chance  of finishing sixth or fifth in the table.

Not really sure about Arsenal, because they fail too often at the last moment. But indeed, if only considering to finish as the top four then yes, of course Arsenal still have a chance to finish in the top four but to finish as a trophy winner, I'm not entirely sure. After all, from last season Arsenal were also quite projected to be title winners but in fact, Arsenal still failed despite the fact that last season Arsenal had a better chance than this moment.

Because yes, at this moment at least there are still Tottenham and also Aston Villa who were very impressive at the start of the season for Tottenham, while Aston Villa is still in its best trend at this moment. Therefore, the competition this season is certainly more difficult than last season and yes, with a very tight competition like this then I will doubt Arsenal to become title winners.

I can't count on Arsenal in the title race either. Arsenal too often lose their consistency when there is a lot of pressure, it happened last season and will probably happen again this season. Arsenal are a team that is currently developing, but because of the team's poor mentality in the title race, they still failed to achieve it.

In the last match we saw a great performance from the Tottenham players. They won against Newcastle with a big margin of 4-1. Yes and this should be a pretty good opportunity for Tottenham to take advantage of the situation, overall it is true that as you said that there is no reason for Tottenham to fail to secure full points in this match even though any result can happen there, but on the other hand I believe and they should be able to secure at least share points.

We have competitive clubs that are capable of maintaining streak winnings and will not be able to give priority to enter the top spot position. For instance, Arsenal have what it takes to win but why are we not seeing them lifting the EPL trophy this season? Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool are the main clubs to look our for the English Premier League title and we have to be very careful when selecting the winner of the tournament.

On paper, the match between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham will be fierce, because both teams are targeting 3 points even though their interests are different. Ange has the ambition to bring his squad back into the top four of the standings and Steve Cooper wants his team to stay away from the red zone, namely relegation. Even though Tottenham will act as the visiting team, I think in the end they can take home 3 points.

I assume that Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City will stay in the top four of the standings until the end of the season, so Aston Villa existence is automatically a threat for teams targeting playing in the UCL next season. Returning to the beginning, it looks like Tottenham match this time will have lots of goals scored, but we'll see who knows what surprises might happen.

While I'm not underestimating Nottingham completely, the squad depth and team performance between Tottenham and Nottingham are very different. Tottenham is a team that is always competitive every season, while Nottingham is not. However, I don't know what makes Nottingham likely to win their home game against Tottenham, unless Tottenham are very bad at capitalizing on their goal chances.
