I didn't watch the first half of the Arsenal vs Brighton game, but I can't believe that Arsenal had 15 shots and Brighton zero... I expected both teams to score a goal... I hope that the second half will be with goals from both teams...

I find it weird too to go full defence and not reaching the goalie. Brighton will count only on counterattack? The response came fast and gunners scored a goal. The result is 1 - 0 and Brighton coach has to change his strategy.
Brentford 1 - 0 Aston Villa which were expected to win in this match. There is still half an hour to try to reverse the score hopefully.
Meanwhile, Ten Hag must be stressed and sweating right now. Previous Manchester United coaches including Mourinho were sacked after humiliating defeats against Liverpool. United already had a very bad results, being kicked from UEFA Champions League and his odds to be fired after that match are high. He has to win or at least grant one point from that match!

Arsenal must win if they want to top the points table. Dropping a point against Brighton in the home match will see Arsenal drop far behind. Arsenal must win by any means. However, seeing the gameplay of Brighton, I think their aim is to draw this match. Brighton want to get 1 point from this match. From the beginning of the match, Brighton players are playing badly defensively today. In the 35th minute, Brighton's players could not make a single shot. On the other hand, Arsenal players continued to try to score goals. The match is still a goalless draw. Arsenal are dominating the match. Well I also said it before that Arsenal need a win to stay on track, the first half is over and Arsenal have not scored a goal. I got the statistics of this match and Arsenal have tried their best with 16 shots 3 of which are on target it's just that Brighton implemented a defensive game so there is no way for Arsenal to get in, we can imagine Brighton not carrying out any attacks they only focus on securing the defense area lol I've never seen Brighton play like this before. We know Brighton wants to get 1 point but that strategy is really unsafe because Arsenal could have managed to score after many attempts Just look at the 50 minutes that the match has been going on, Brighton has not attempted a dangerous attack.



In another match Brentford actually scored the first goal, will Aston Villa really be beaten today? I don't think Aston Villa dropped any points in this game after some impressive wins last week, previously they beat the 2 strongest teams now Brentford are below them by level but the fact is they have difficulty scoring goal. I think this match deserves to end in a draw and Aston Villa must continue to secure the points, let's wait to see if Aston Villa can do it and at least 1 point must be earned today or Manchester City will replace them.

Arsenal is actually making good use of their home advantage.  The 53rd minute goal from Gabriel Jesus has changed the pace of the game and if Arsenal remained resolute till the end, they will secure the 3 points. During the days of Sir Alex Ferguson at  Manchester United, the Manchester United vs Liverpool fixture was regarded as one of the strongest fixtures in club football but that has actually changed over the years as Manchester United has been less competitive in the English Premier League unlike their Liverpool counterparts who's been one of the best clubs in the league over the past ten years. The superior performance of Liverpool in recent years has made the fixture become less competitive and easily predicted and considering the current form of both clubs, I don't think Manchester United is even gonna do anything today to change that.

Aston Villa successfully continued their winning trend after beating Brentford 1-2, having fallen behind in the 45th minute through Lewis-Potter's goal, Aston Villa successfully came back and won with score of 1-2 through goals from Alex Moreno and Ollie Watkins. Actually Aston Villa faced difficulty for defeating Brentford but red card receiving by Ben Mee on 71th minutes made Aston Villa get advantage against teams with ten players. Seems first time for Aston Villa on 2nd standings position although has potential drop to their standing if Liverpool can defeat Manchester United will play few minutes later.

Aston Villa was able to get back up and equalize the position then finally returned to maximize the additional goal in the 85th minute, but Aston Villa had to pay a heavy price for this victory because Kamara was awarded a red card. On the other hand, it is certainly a loss for Brentford because they lost plus the player had to get a red card. Well this is quite equal for each club. With a winning record, Aston Villa has now placed itself in second place behind Arsenal, who has just won full points over Brighton. So Liverpool's task is to put more pressure on them to achieve a landslide victory. I will not doubt this match because based on several matches at home, Liverpool can always control the game and win. Moreover, Man United is being hit by injuries, the line up is also not very ideal in my opinion. Liverpool need 3 points to regain their position at the top of the standings, so this could be a pretty hot match.

A really fantastic game from Aston Villa tonight which I think they should be the top or near the top temporarily before Liverpool plays their game.All the pressure is on Liverpool team now as they are forced to win the game against Manchester United otherwise they risk to lose the top of the standings.Whatever happens in their game though one thing is sure this season the Premier League is looking more interesting than ever,I have a long time that I have forgotten such a season where quite some teams have real opportunities to win the league.Let's hope the Premier League will continue to be as interesting as this for quite a long time.

Kudos to the Arsenal team on their victory as they have become the league leaders once again by crushing Brighton on a two goals to one (2-0). Kai Havetz did what he knows well by putting the ball into the back of the net that sealed their 3 points in the game and it was indeed an entertaining game. It's hard to accept that Manchester City dropped points against weaker opponents. They shouldn't be losing points in these types of games, especially considering the quality of their squad. City is going through a challenging period, but sometimes things can turn around unexpectedly. They have to bounce back, as other contenders maintaining their winning streaks.

After Brighton gave Arsenal a frustrating first half, Arsenal managed to win the match by 2 goals in the second half with an outstanding performance that broke through Brighton's defense.
In every Premier League week match, Arsenal keeps showing that they are in much need to be the 2023/2024 Premier League champions. Although they have Liverpool and Manchester City as their biggest rival for the Premier League title.

Just when everyone is expecting Aston Villa to go down, they even waxing stronger,  defeating Arsenal last weekend and coming from a goal down to win Brentford today taking 3 points at away. I have changed a lot of my expectations about them lately as I'm seeing them to finish among the first four teams to make it to champions league next season.

The only fear I have for the Manchester United sides is their goal keeper, Onana. He has been consistently making mistakes that were never there before he was signed. Even in the ongoing match, he already committed a mistake that can lead to a goal.  Apart from this, Manchester United is playing so well. Nevertheless, draw is not a bad result for Manchester United.
