The English League match hasn't started yet, yes I can't wait to see the match again but it looks like the Manchester City vs Arsenal match will always be in the public spotlight because the competition between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City is getting fiercer and is being talked about a lot by the public because of the small difference in points. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again.

 The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon. Regardless of the team's conditions, these top two teams have been able to stay in shape, giving themselves tough encounters at every time they meet. It's a much anticipated encounter when these teams face each other for the second leg game this season in the EPL. It'll be difficult to predict the game outcome because they're tough opponents, but fairly, it's certain that there'd be inflow of goals in the game.

If it was a serious cup game, like even if it was qualifying games then I would sort of understand because it means something for the nation, and all the more important ones are at summer so they are fine, even if injured players do recover during the season itself.

However, middle of the season national friendly game is something I would never understand, not only it means nothing but also it gives people a break from the regular season game for no reason at all, makes no sense. Let them have the league games during these times and then end the season a little early. Season is usually over by June anyway, so have friendly games at June as much as you want and the cup was at July I think, so people would have a lot of time.

The problem is that if players ignore the national team's call to play, then they risk not being included in the team list. Becoming part of the national team is almost every player's dream because they want to make their country proud. Why not? All clubs must want to find their own targets including Manchester United which is still possible to catch up with points in the top 4 so it isn't wrong if they still want the competition to be in the top 4 even though their current performance is still not too stable .

I feel you. Tonight, we saw John Stones leaving the friendly game they played against Belgium National Football Team. Same goes with Kyle Walker during the first friendly against Brazil National Team.
The absence of these players and also Kevin De Bruyne would definitely affect the Manchester City squad as they host gunner's on Sunday evening at the Etihad stadium. I have a strong feeling that Arsenal would utilize it and go back home with all three points and also to top the Premier League Competition..

I doubt that now out of a sudden they turn into a top team and win most of their games. Even then it may not be enough as they are 9 points behind. Last season they somehow did it, but not this time.

Even if it happens, it will be a surprising event because the only game for now that I think they can get some points from is their next game against Brentford. If not for that game, I don’t think they will be able to get any more points that will take them to the top 4. It will be super hard. 

Even though they were able to win against Liverpool in the FA Cup, that doesn’t still give them a chance to think they will be able to do that in the Premier League; moreover, it is not over yet; they still have a game with the same Liverpool, and I am sure Liverpool  will wait for them to serve them a good one just to let them know their position in the league. So even though it is not good to downgrade a team, Manchester United is not a team to look down on, but based on consideration, it will be hard for them to make it to the top 4 in the table, but we see how it ends, but I also don’t have any hope for Manchester United.
