It won't hurt to cool it for a day or so, however, with all of the tweets and rise on coinmarketcap, I'm sure that other people are noticing and trying to get in on a piece of the action...it's definitely a feather in our cap that we continue to rise as others sell off.

Afterall, there are only 250,000 UNOs

 Tongue

250k in a few hundred years. Less than 200k actually.

why are people buying from the wall instead of putting in a buyorder. I don't get it.

If you have to buy from the wall make 50% buysupport of the purchase at least. Look at the depthchart. Look at it! lol
Buyorders, guys. Buy the dip, not the top.

there are a few uno left under cryptsy price on allcrypt if you want to buy now, now, now but don't want to show orders just because.  Roll Eyes

Who knows, it may just be noobs getting on the train, or it may be people that don't want to miss out?

They realized they've missed out thusfar.

Hashrate's at 26.6 T!

thats the only reason i'm considering dumping down to .007
not for the money, just to clear out the small bids and place a buy order around .0068
watching the last hour, though, i think i wont.  i really didn't expect people to start chewing into that little wall at .008
getting thru .0091 is gonna be a totally different story unless that sell order is a bluff

the sellorder will very likely be lifted once the buysupport is there to move higher. If it is not lifted we'll buy it then. Give it a day or two. Maybe it dips a bit, why not buy the dip later? put in an order between 0.007 and 0.0078 and just wait. If you see buysupport building up fast you can still buy into the wall. You can't have it rise on thin air. lol

Look how confused everyone is by a coin that doesn't drop.
Uno trades different than other coins. Are you scared to be dumped on? You will be lucky to be dumped on in uno.

V500 you are exactly right. It is a very irregular environment for crypto. We say it often, but it can't be said enough that this community wants the best for UNO. Not a quick get rich scheme...although I'm sure none of us will mind when that is the ultimate result.  It is a mature community that believes that the value of UNO will be understood over time, not in an instant.

For example, I loved the quote from yesterday where we are the only community that gets bent when UNO rises "too much, too fast"! I love it!

i have to admit i am the culprit. I bought it during the day to 0.0078 for next to nothing. NO SUPPLY - lol
I would have expected you to backfill buyorders more quick, but what ever.

Was able to sell some of it on coinbroker for a gain already. It's a funny story with me and coinbroker, lol

@ community cohesion: there's more 'quality policy' here than I have ever seen in a coin community. I am learning a lot -- and my last pinch of Btc got me 30 of that 200.

@ Un-Ex: it is unimportant that Un-Ex has quiet periods. Once well-established, it is a community 'option.'

Consider our concern over Cryptsy having the coin to dump on us. In the next two years, say, let's cold-bloodedly drain the Uran wallet by selling large-ish packets on Un-Ex, and buying on Cryptsy. This not only drains the Uran wallet, but re-directs a pivotal number of Uno into the hands of the 'core' community.

@ And . . . 'Hedges'!!!! What are Hedges? They are an idea at this second, and hopefully a micro theoretical exercise within a couple of weeks. A TT will hold ten physical ounces of silver. Five 'Hedges' will be put up for sale on Un-Ex -- nowhere else in the world, and no other trading-pair than 'Uno/Hedges.'

We wouldn't launch the project without the approval of the community.

Details to follow (they are non-cryptographic!); but the aim -- Bitcoin Charlie and I have been talking about it -- is to micro-explore some of the ideas we have discussed.

@imz
if you want arb from cryptsy to in-house you need to offer buyorders above marketprice there. I don't know if it's possible or now.

Sorry i was irritating the fuck out of everybody with my trading today. I learned a lot with it. Was just an experiment. I won't do that again. Next time i buy only with support.

If you want to buy uno, place a buyorder - simple stuff. Bittrex is maybe good too for placing an order. Is everybody buying high on purpose? I think everyone is emotionally and mentally damaged by all the pump and dump coins, really.

From my perspective, and we can move the converstation over to that thread, UNO-Ex will become more of an environment for a boutique trade against a precious metal or for an instance where someone wants to take a very large position in one chunk.  With TTs and escrow, it could also be an enviroment where someone might trade, say, a numismatic coin or a valuable baseball card for UNO...

As for your trading, this entire thing is an experiment, my friend!

Hmm, the hedges sound interesting, can you further explain how it works?

now finally it dips a little. If you want to buy, put in an order, hope it gets in.

well, at least it was proven: it's not dumping... which doesn't mean you can buy it up on no support.

UNO uptrend now in it's 4th month.

King, that's a pretty long "pump," if I may be so bold.  Slow and steady wins the race!

Have you been in UNO for awhile?

now sellorders don't come down. This is funny with no end.

I interpret it like this: people can't believe it's this expensive already that's why they don't put in buyorders - you could have bought it days ago for much less, right. On the other hand the owners don't want to sell cheaper. It's quite odd.

We'll have to wait for the buysupport. We'll be trading in the 7s for a bit i think. Probably low volume.

Have to appologise again. I know it's going much higher so i thought 'why not buy it up to the next resistance' because low sellresistance and nice charts and selling on coinbroker instantly for more. I should be banned from trading probably.  Cheesy

Me writing an article and washing socks.

# No, V., there is no arb from Cryptsy.

# Yes, we shall duck over to Un-Ex shortly.

# Bitcoin Charlie understand the basics of the project.

# I will pay the price of 10 ounces of silver to a senior community member. He will be 'vault guy.' And I will put up 100 Uno, to be held by another senior member, as an 'abundance of caution.' Then vault guy literally puts 10 oz of silver in a coffee can, and buries it in the garden.

Then we open a 'Register': 'Hedge 001/IMZ,' 'Hedge 002/IMZ,' etc.

Each of the five Hedges (traded solely on Un-Ex) might attract value because the TTs of this community are satisfied that (a) the silver is safe, but (b) they can trade Hedges without pullin' that silver out of the coffee can. So, suppose Fred buys Hedge 001. The Register (which can be backed up with screenshots etc.) changes from  'Hedge 001/IMZ' to 'Hedge 001/Fred.'

# If the project goes pear-shaped -- it's about learning, at this point, not profit -- we can, with a few days' patience, 'unpack' the experiment.

# Now relish the theory, my fellow Unobtanium supporters! Surely more diverse trading-pairs improves price-independence. It will give us practice in trust-network development (and we shall continue to avidly develop 'national chapter' trades of physical bullion).

# And here's a thesis: the value of a Hedge won't always track the value of the two ounces of silver it represents. If Unobtanium weakens in value (which may just never happen again . . . ), Hedges will attract some premium.
