Everybody is very excited that C. Ronaldo returned to Man United. Was a smart move as well, I do not think he could have a wonderful life in Manchester if he had chosen to play for Man City.
It goes maybe to far to say that United is a favorite for the title, but with a player like Ronaldo nothing is impossible.

Odds on Liverpool's win in tomorrow's match are 1.75 I don't think they will lose against Leeds...

I also found it strange that this high odds value being that the game will be liverpool a very strong team against leeds which is not a very strong team, well Is a good chance to make a considerable profit, I bet on liverpool

I think Liverpool are out of the title race with their wonderkid Elliot breaking his ankle in the Leeds game. They looked very good in the game up until they lost him and only scored 1 goal against 10 Leeds players. They do not have many players in depth. Leeds looked awful today and I think if they are to stay up this season they need to buy some players in the January transfer window. I think Manchester United and Chelsea are the 2 teams with the best chance of winning the league this season they have the best players but Manchester City does have the best depth in the league which could be the reason they win another title.

Have you also thought that the other time would also get some of their players injuries over the course of the competition?

They are already weaker before the injury than the other 3 teams that are favorites for the title. They have now lost a player which they do not have a direct replacement for. They have already had injuries to their striker and are looking thin. They have to play European games and their africian players are going to AFCON this season. They cannot compete unless they sign someone in the January. I do not think it is too nuts of a prediction. Mane and Salah will be both going to the AFCON. Elliot is probably out for the season and that is 3 midfield players that will be gone. They sold 2 midfield players in this transfer window. If they have any more injuries they will be playing players out of position. Why is this a nuts prediction when AFCON is going to impact teams hugely. Liverpool and Leicester being the teams with the most players going to AFCON. I am not a Liverpool fan and I am a rival supporter but I am trying to not be bias. I am not afraid of Liverpool this season.

Their chances at the title are limited they lack midfielders winjaldum departure was a terrible thing and now they need alcantara to get back to his previous form they lack some replacements too in case of injury especially in the defense and this is a big problem when playing for the premier league because its long and require a lot of efforts and injuries are inevitable so as you said the teams to fight for the title are man united ,city and chelsea.

I think in defense they are fine they bought a new player Konate? If they do have injuries they should have enough depth to not suffer much. The problem is the midfield and this is why they cannot compete for the title this season. They lacked depth before the Elliot injury. They sold Shaqiri and Gini W. Gini was a starting player and would play in most teams in the Premier League as a starter and they sold their backup shaqiri. Elliot is now injured for at least half the season but it will prolly be for the rest of the season they have lost 3 players in one position and do not have any one to replace them. How is my prediction of Liverpool not challenging for the title nuts when they have the weakest midfield in the top 6.

@tokeweed not only Solksjaer but the board too, because RB and CM were a big issue but they didn’t have any money for those and yet they spend money on Ronaldo which shows some poor planning by the board. Lastly I believe that Lukaku will end as the premier league top goal scorer, because of his hot form.

People expect great things from Ronaldo because he's Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players of all time. He can do things other people can only imagine of doing. But it is true that even the great Ronaldo needs a good team too. Ronaldo is a great finisher and dribbler. But he is not a great playmaker. He needs his midfield to make good balls for him to convert them to goals. But it's early days for him in the club after a recent transfer. So I think we're yet to see his best.

Well what cannot be denied is how Ronaldo has morphed from being a speedy ace that can play on the left or right wing in to an out and out goal scoring machine while still retaining his unbelievable technical ability at every level from the English Premier League to Spanish La Liga to the Italian Scudetto and on the international stage too.

Since re-joining, he has so far played less than 2 full games for Manchester United and scored 3 goals therefore is scoring at a rate of more than one goal a game. It seems he will give Salah, Lukaku and Kane a proper fight in the race to be the top scorer, I think he will be the golden boot winner this season.

People expect great things from Ronaldo because he's Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players of all time. He can do things other people can only imagine of doing. It is too early to claim this. I think Salah and Ronaldo also have a big chance to be the top scorer because they are the goal machine of their team as well. We also must consider that Liverpool and Manchester United often win with a large number of goals. This means that both midfielders and strikers of those clubs have the ability to create more goals or assists than other clubs.

But he is not a great playmaker. He needs his midfield to make good balls for him to convert them to goals.

Of course, he needs assists from midfielders. But don't worry, Manchester United has Pogba, Sancho, and Bruno Fernandes who can deliver assists very well to CR7. And we know that Pogba is leading the assists on EPL right now. It is a good sign for CR7 to compete for top scorer this season.

I'm not going to lie, I have the had/still have high expectations for Man Utd ever since Ronaldo joined their team. I mean, who wouldn't be? It's the same way everyone is expecting PSG to win the Champions League just because they brought Messi during the last transfer window. I think it's a norm to feel that way and I'm guilty of it. As for Ole, I've always known that he wasn't a great choice from the onset. While he might not be consistent with his results, his choices are.

It is matchday tomorrow for Manchester City. And their current competitor is Southampton. City have been doing great in the EPL and CL in the recent times. They have improved their morale a lot and they are in a perfect shape. It seems like there is no way that Southampton will be resisting against City much with a mediocre performance so far. They lost nearly all of their league games so far. City are overwhelmingly dominant and I expect them to win this game by 3 goals at least.

Let's still give Ole some time. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to grow professionally as a football coach with the team and he has to quickly adapt to changing conditions. If earlier the head coach of Manchester United achieved a relatively stable result on the approaches to the leaders and finals with one version of the squad, now the squad has strengthened and the club's management will already demand specific titles. Ronaldo, with his responsible attitude to business and his own health, will undoubtedly continue to show high results at United and Solskjaer's task as a head coach is to ensure that Ronaldo's results also result in winning results for the team.

It’s not really ‘the board’..  It’s whoever is acting in the role of director of football.  I’m not really sure who that is these days as I haven’t been following the goings on in football as closely as before since the covid era.  But it was Ed Woodward a couple of years ago.  So it’s mostly his fault if there’s really somebody to blame.

The first result of the games taking place day has just come in:

Wolves 0-2 Brentford

Brentford were down to 10 men with one being sent off but they managed to hold out for a 0-2 win to continue their great form after being newcomers to the Premier League since they were promoted from the Championship last season. Brentford move up to an impressive 9th in the league table after 5 games played - while Wolves fall to 14th.

It looks like Wolves will struggle this season without their inspirational ex-head coach Nuno Espirito Santo who moved on to take over at Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal continue their winning streak by beating Burnley 0-1 at away.They have now moved from bottom of the table to middle.And for the Arsenal team,I think they are now blending well,their defence today was very solid,except for Ben White that kept on making silly mistakes that almost cost them to draw the match,while his partner Gabriel was very solid throught out the match,and the goal keeper was also superb.
The tension on the manager Mikel Arteta is becoming lesser as they continue to win their matches.
